We must repeat over and over the fact this individual is not up to job he’s running for. The LPC have decided to push him onto Canadians, it’s up to Canadians to refuse to support this embarrassment.
I expect the Libs will soon start working very hard to try and divide us along blue and red tory lines. That is what the folks now working for Trudeau did down south and it worked extremely well. But with Obama they had an intelligent candidate who could at least talk off the cuff without saying anything at all most times and stick to the narrative. With Trudeau they have a sack of hammers who has trouble walking and chewing gum at the same time and he constantly destroys the nascent narrative they keep trying to get traction with. But they will find their groove soon enough so we had better be ready to fight them at every turn and not make things easy for them by fighting among ourselves.
Put him in the front lines of the next available clash, we’ll see how amusing it is when the bullets fly past his head, in the event he is so lucky. He can wear his father’s WWI “Picklehaube” helmet, that Pierre was fond of wearing in WWII. Call it a symbolic hat tip to foolishness.

I look at this from a different perspective. I am not defending Trudeau, I have little respect for him.
My problem is with the partisan mentalities that the parties and the media in particular use to attack ANY misstep by a politician. Because today’s msm is miles wide but only a millimeter thick they have created a political climate where NO politician dare speak their mind openly and risk a “gaff”. So, we get nothing but platitudes and propaganda from ALL the parties….when they do bother to answer a question, that is.
I like the fact J T regularly gets in trouble for his mouth working faster than his brain. It’s the closest thing to an “honest opinion’ you’ll get from any modern politician.
After all, if he never made his “China” gaff how would Canadians have learned of his sick respect for communism?

What Justin said in the french interview was not politically correct. He didn’t get really hammered at the time but, from the video you could see the look on the other participants face that it was a Gottcha moment. Had he been a universally disliked figure in Quebec, such as Harper, they would have driven him off the show in derision. That is why Harper, rightfully so, doesn’t do off the cuff.
Trudeau does public forum off the cuff because of the sycophantic responses he gets: he gets away with it. He has unified the LSM (Lame Stream Media) and given them a sense of hope. They will never apply the same ruthless tactics to him as they will to a strong “Conservative” who has a real chance of power. Never. Don’t look for it. Don’t expect it.
His ability to bring together the LSM team has the Liberals ebullient. They think they are on fire and unstoppable. They may well be. All the free and positive media will outweigh so much of the public face time the Conservatives will have to pay for.
This has translated into good polling numbers for the Liberals and better yet for them, their base, the trust-fund-set who are ever soooooo concerned about taking care of the world, have rallied around him because they sense he will bring them power. Thus you see, CINOs (Conservative in Name Only) types, like the so called conservative think tank celebrity (who frankly I’d never heard of before and can’t remember his name) quitting the conservative think tank to run for Trudeau. I ‘know’ this because the LSM has made such a big deal of the whole thing. They’ve declared this guy a celebrity candidate and therefore he is a ‘celebrity’.
Trudeau has the wind in his sails and he is going to be hard to stop. It is the Obama factor. The strategy for the Conservatives has to be to do the vetting the LSM will never do. Obama got elected because his LSM did not vet him and the Republicans just weren’t up to the vetting job.
The Conservatives need a simple message, which I think they have. That message has to be “Not a Leader!” or “Not up to the job!” or something that is simple but true. On days like yesterday it will ring true, the unwashed masses will nod when it is uttered. The Conservative talking heads need to have it roll off their lips “Not up to the job!”

Not even 24 hours after concluding their confab, their narrative is off the rails, not from the utterances of a Heady Fry or Mark Holland, but from the leader that pundits and media talking heads can’t stop telling us how inevitable his election as PM will be (like they did with Paul Martin).
For three days they have been off message and in the process have planted a seed of doubt that team justin isnt ready for the main event.
