Operation Empty Chair

Oops.

The US embassy in Ankara said on Wednesday it had suspended “all non-lethal assistance” into northern Syria after members of the newly formed Islamic Front took over premises belonging to the Free Syrian Army’s Supreme Military Council, which is aligned to the anti-Assad opposition National Coalition. […]
The Islamic Front, which comprises six rebel brigades, seized warehouses reportedly containing dozens of anti-aircraft weapons and anti-tank rockets at the Bab al-Hawa crossing on the Turkish border last weekend. The group is backed by Saudi Arabia.

  1. Stupid is as stupid does. The UK are tagging along on the US initiative to make
    the Yanks look brilliant.

  2. Yes, but of course they will keep up all the “lethal assistance” they can muster.
LAS will be thrilled, many more days to come of pedophilic goat herders murdering little brown Christian people in Syria.

  3. Is this really unexpected? Or even unplanned, how better to supply the Islamists while pretending to support the least vile.

  4. Thus Obama’s goal to help the Muslim Brotherhood take over the Arab countries has
ended up supplying anti-aircraft and anti-tank rockets to Al-Quaida.
If Americans paid attention to and understood foreign policy, they’d demand Obama be impeached for aiding and abetting the enemy in wartime.
If the Obama administration didn’t want this weaponry to fall into the hands of the jihadis, they would have had a back up plan where Special Forces would have gone in and killed a bunch of Al-Quaida and scooped up the rockets.
At the very least these weapons will be used to try and start a war in Lebanon.
Or they may be used in terrorist attacks in Africa, but used they will be.
