  1. As long as you media clowns and re-peaters call them warriors instead of lazy angry welfare bums you give them some perverted ancestral validity that serves to only cause this crap, in 2013. Call things what they are.

  2. What better way to remind the media that the difference between leftists and savages is that the leftists wait until AFTER they seize power before they eat the useful idiots.

  3. Treaties were signed with the understanding of peaceful interaction… Harper you listening or are you just another turncoat?

  4. What is needed in Newbrunswick is Osoyoos Chief Clarence Louie to give some “life lessons” to fellow First Nations Bands!

  5. Give an inch, they’ll take a mile. Thanks Dalton McSquinty for sending the message loud and clear to any and all native thugs that you can get away with anything as long as you’re native. Now native thugs all across the country have it in their minds that they are above the law. Unfortunately, given this country’s spineless crew of politicians and “activist” courts, they’re probably right. The next vehicles that show up at the blockade should be a troop of AVGPs with live ammo and dozer blades. Start with the live ammo and use the dozer blades to clear the debris.

  6. Actually, what is the problem. The leftist media is everybodys’ enemy. Many of us call them the enemedia. I don’t really care what the problem these “native protesters” have with the media, they are my enemy too. They got their cars siezed? T.S. In many parts of the world, they would be lucky to keep their heads. As long as the media pukes never report both sides of the problem, but only the librul side, they are enemy combatants to me. Maybe if these “natives” hung a few, they would get the medias’ undivided attention!

  7. The MSM or L(ame)SM have not heeded Winston Churchill’s warning “Appeasement is like feeding the crocodile, hoping that it will eat you last.” are now reaping the results of their stupidity, and yet I find they still try to trivialize the action of these hoodlums. All I can say is good luck morons!

  8. I just checked the CTV website – no mention of their crew being rescued by Sun News! In fact, I had to dig around the website to find any reference to this NB situation at all. The media (other than Sun news) is pathetic in this country.

  9. Do you realize how silly you sound, the bear? We would all rue the day that the PM had that much power that he could personally intervene and impose his solution for every conflict between groups of people across Canada.

  10. Well Laura Brown, you go into a war zone you can expect to caught up in it. Be happy that more did not happen to you and the crew. Make no mistake, as we have heard all summer the radical have declared war. So far the only ones that realize this are the radicals and a few others that pay attention.
It would sure be nice if someone discovered who is funding this.

  11. It’s a pretty good bet if the army showed up these cowardly thugs would disperse immediately.
We all have a right to peaceful protest but when thugs/terrorists attack our protective forces we have anarchy.

  12. Anybody still remember when the Mohawk Drinking Society pukes beat up an elderly couple AND a media camera crew in Caledonia, circa 2006? In broad daylight on the main street of town, I might add.
How about when they burnt down the Sterling Street bridge?
Or when they punched out Gary McHale? [Which time, Phantom?]
Or when they nearly killed Sam Gualtieri? [Who still isn’t right and never will be, incidentally.]
Anybody remember the many, many times the OPP took rocks and bottles in the backs of their heads because Fantino had them facing the townies instead of the Mohawk “warriors”? In case the evil white people might do something bad, y’know.
    No eh? Imagine that.
Reporters don’t get that they are considered expendable by their employers. If it means keeping The Narrative intact, they’ll be cut loose in a heartbeat. Always another J-school grad to step into the breach, right?

  13. Liz J said: “It’s a pretty good bet if the army showed up these cowardly thugs would disperse immediately.”
Not really. What happens is hundreds of them mob up and dare the soldiers to shoot them. Usually they put women and children in the front too. Remember the Oka “crisis”? That’s what they do when the army shows up. If the army guys actually do shoot one of them though, -that’s- when they all run away.
They’re really brave when they have an overwhelming numerical advantage, and they’re super duper at intimidating lone women driving little cars. One on one with somebody their own size… not so much.

  14. Joe you are entirely right to say it is vital that PM’s personal authority be constrained by law and custom from the imposition of solutions, but it would not be improper for him to be talking privately to key personnel like the RCMP Commissioner and the relevant ministers in his cabinet and the relevant provincial Premier and cabinet ministers about what needs to be done and why they are unable or unwilling to achieve it. In fact, it doesn’t take a very long period of this sort of failure before it becomes a neglect of his duty to not be asking them pointy questions about getting their jobs done.

  15. This Band is such a bunch of slackers.
Only 85% on welfare. If they were good, they would at least hit the 100% mark and if they were really savvy and if they were really good, they could hit at least 150%.

  16. Tooner there is a whole chain of command in place that should take control of the situation long before it gets to the PM’s desk. If the PM is going to undercut his ministers, in this case the Minister of Public Safety, then what is the purpose of having ministers? If this situation should ever escalate to the level where the PM’s intervention is warranted the first thing he should do is fire the Minister of Public Safety. I do not believe this incident has reached anywhere near that level. Besides we got rid of Paul Martin for a reason and one of those reasons is because he could not set priorities. Everything was an emergency requiring more money from the federal government.

  17. I suggest that should more destruction of property ensue, or blockading of vital transportation links, that we shut off gas and electricity to the respective reserves. They’re evil white man facilities anyway. No power or natural gas until they back off and act with civility.

  18. It appears the ND authorities are not going to make the same mistake Ontario did in dealing with the violent fallout caused by leftist-radicalized native anarchists.
It’s also obvious that NB has not adopted the “chiken-cop” indoctrinating/policy where any mass violence/potential violence/disorder which presents a threat to police (and public order) that comes from visible minorities results in covering the timidity of both officials and police in not acting as “tolerance” of a historic victim group or “peace Keeping”. This is of course a leftist doctrine injected into the Ontario police function meant to “turn off” police action to restore order and rule of law when the groups they strategically radicalize and exploit to cause anarchy, will be immune from liability in commission of their crimes during “protest”. This may have to do more with the fact the RCMP are involved rather than some provincial police force which acts as the policy enforcers of local politicians.
I seems the RCMP in NB are mopping up this mess with arrects and an extended investigation to root out core conspiritors in this protest/riot. Let’s hope they follow through and are not “turned off” by a simpering sympathetic lefty officialdom.
I can’t shed a tear for any MSM who are damaged in the ongoing anarchy which they, in their own way, enabled with their cheer-leading of minority group nihilist activism and multi-tiered law enforcement/justice systems. Too bad, so sad media spinners, reap what you’ve sown.

  19. “Carjacking” used to be the term for this, apparently replaced by the kinder and gentler ‘seized’. I also saw an article that said ‘commandeered’ which made it sound kind of official and acceptable.
Thugs be needin’ some hugs! Where’s the Celebrity Apprentice?

  20. The trick?
Dont live or commute anywhere near these ‘owners of everything they see”..
You will get no support from the Police or any level of government..
Beyond this sound advise there is no story…

  21. The Indian protesters appear to have little else to do, they’re certainly not living off the land as their ancestors did, they’re living off the people of this land who work for a living and pay taxes on everything including their homes and the land these people claim they “own”.

  22. Actually bartinsky, it’s the natives that call themselves “warriors.” I’m guessing this is for a lot of people their first brush with exactly how the mohawk warrior societies operate. If you want more fun and interesting things, look up how much smuggling they do. Including gun and drug running, smuggling of people, and various forms of intimidation against businesses.

  23. Given that this has been happening on and off since 2010, it seems NB is following the Caledonia Appeasement playbook. At least the media is paying attention this time.
Fantino had them facing the townies instead of the Mohawk “warriors”
And now he’s in the CPC caucus.

  24. “I guess Indians are our enemy. Let’s treat them accordingly.”
What’s an “Indian” – all I saw assouting property, peace and police were criminals. Are criminals your enemy troll? Should we treat them like criminals for committing crimes?

  25. Ironic that the Sun news crew saves the beacon of the communist press puppies.
The very ones the collectivists hate so much.
But hey, isn’t it always the way it goes.

  26. It would seem reasonable for anyone threatened to demand permission to carry a BIG gun. The RCMP would be stuck between a Rock & hard Place if >25 Pll demanded access to Self Protection.
The Indians want Ugly…..Why not give them sweet Justice

  27. Always amazes me that when the media shows up, the flames get hotter. Suffocate the story….suffocate the fire.
The media needs to start taking responsibility for its actions, in the same vane as “not negotiating with terrorists”.

  28. I tortured/amused myself today by listening to CBC radio in my truck today, some travesty called Day 6, spinning their narrative on the protest.
Lots of blabbering about a peacefull protest turning violent..then they talked to a native who disagreed with the RCMP’s version of events.
His first remarks were that he got there after the cop cars were torched, which makes one wonder how he could disagree with the cops version.
Then responding to the CBC idiot’s narrative that everything was peaceful he explained how they had siezed one of SWN’s trucks earlier.
I think siezed might be the same as stolen….but then I’m not an overpaid loon working the CBC line…
The CBC drone’s voice became near orgasmic when he described one guest as a native Warrior…clean up in aisle 3!
    What a farce.

  29. This is an excellent opportunity to fire a warning shot across the bow of the freaks who think that their violence will stop the development of Canada’s resources. It is time to play hardball with these loons.
Time to take the gloves off and enforce the law. Also time to dust off the sedition clause of the Criminal Code.

  30. Kris Sims actions were very disappointing.
Saving one chronic sinner of the rival MSM
from assault and captivity would be very
commendable and the Christian thing to do.
More than one not so much.

  31. Aboriginals versus big,big,big,BIG,BIG Business,Government, Media,Money and Influence.
    Another massacre.
But hey. It’s Canada. Everyone gets their cut.
Just not as much in New Brunswick.
    Droit seigneur and all that.

  32. Interesting use of the word “massacre” given that there were no injuries, much less fatalities.
Pepper spraying a bunch of goofs who are throwing gasoline bombs constitutes a “massacre” now? Or was it the threat to cut back the welfare checks to the same as what the the rest of the mopes in NB get?

  33. The journo Laura Brown while being interviewed by Tom Clarke spoke of how scared she was. She then defended the protest as being peaceful. But not Once did she give a mention or thanks to the Sun reporter who drove her to safety.
Gotta keep the MSM narrative going eh?

  34. The authorities have made arrests here. I read that many of the forty persons were released, but others still held. Let’s see what happens.
By way of interest I saw a flag being held. It had a red cross on a white background, but was not exactly symmetrical with the old English flag of St George.
In the left hand corner was a star and underneath a crescent.
I have been unable to get any data on it. Anyone know what it represents?

  35. I don;t care who the protesters are. Native, non native full on Canadian’s, it’s well beyond time to stop playing footsie with these subversives. It’s one thing to have a peaceful protest. Fill you boots, but when the protest turns violent or your protest violates the rights of others the response should be swift and harsh. I for one am sick and tired of every aggrieved group blocking highways and roads.
Make no mistake these may be local’s but the money is international and when the police find heavy weapons and IED’s you have gone from protestors to subversive terrorists. Terrorists should be dealt with harshly and without mercy.

  36. Thanks Robert for your link.
Sort of raised a query in my own mind when I saw the resemblance to the flag of “England, Harry and St George”.
I concur with your views on these people who act violently. My money is on the fact that scratch the surface and one finds a coward. The more deference that is shown, the more bold they get.
