Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

That looks like fun – who knew there were Indian cowboys? Something best to be tried in N. America as any of us doing this in the microbial soup known as Indian “water” would likely pick up a host of exotic infections. I guess if you’re immune to the local microbial flora this would be a great way to beat the heat.
Those aren’t cows, those are steers.
Yeah…I’d watch that….
Pamplona has nothing on that….
In a way it’s something like the odd urban popularity of tractor pulling….which one might assume only appealed to rural folk.
Where tractor pulling takes longer than a drag race it also features noise, power, danger…..but provides a minute or so of entertainment rather than a few seconds.
I guess they got the message in India – nobody wearing an Obama mask!
Those guys had it down, though, didn’t they?
See? The world over, ‘redneck’ fun is the most fun!
Standardbred Harness Horse Racing, once a Rural country Fair attraction in OntarioCanada, eventually evolved into World Class Racing, not to mention Breeders Yearling Market Bonanza, may well look to India for cow racing in the future, as the provincial Liberal Government and the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission destroys the Standardbred Racing and Yearling Market.
Them Indians sure know how to party!
Cow racing? Yawn. Let me know when they start cow TIPPING. Now there’s sport!
If you have ever chased after cattle,in the spring snow melt, after they have smashed and are wearing pieces of the hay feeder…you might be a redneck.
How about smashing the side of an axe against a cows head to keep it away from the hole in the ice you’re chopping so they can get water? Does that make me a redneck too?
