Top climate scientists have admitted that their global warming forecasts are wrong and world is not heating at the rate they claimed it was in a key report.

A leaked draft of a report by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is understood to concede that the computer predictions for global warming and the effects of carbon emissions have been proved to be inaccurate.
The report, to be published later this month, is a six year assessment which is seen as the gospel of climate science and is cited to justify fuel taxes and subsidies for renewable energy.
The “summary for policymakers” of the report, seen by the Mail on Sunday, states that the world is warming at a rate of 0.12C per decade since 1951, compared to a prediction of 0.13C per decade in their last assessment published in 2007.

Ahh, the old potato gun, we were making these back in the 80’s, last one was stainless steel and used Hair Spray for the fuel.
Hairspray? Weenies… We powered ours with propane, until a one had a combustion chamber explosion, then we started making them out of steel, those suckers could launch a spud a good three thousand yards and more. Could probably hit small planes if we tried.
The problem was we lived right next to Downsview Airport when it was still a RCAF base, at the time (on the stub of Sheppard ave before they pulled thru the airport), most folks including the cops thought all the noise was something the military was doing, and never bothered to investigate.
Then one day we got a visit from the Military Police cause they kept finding bits of potato (and other assorted projectiles) all over the base, the runways, coming through hanger windows, and on the planes… when he put a frozen (yup, frozen. More distance and unlikey to come apart. And a more interesting landing to boot) spud through the back window of a colonel’s Buick, our fun was over.
Especially when our dads had to come get out of that little holding cell…
Course that doesn’t stop me from making them for the grandkids now a days…
