  1. One of Obama’s “sons” disappears in national legacy media coverage, is finally located in headlines overseas:

Rape Victim, 93, speaks out as 17-year-old boy charged with assault in elderly woman’s home.

  2. In his letter to the WSJ, Don Boudreaux of Cafe Hayek quotes H. L. Mencken:

“The bureaucrat begins, perhaps, by doing only what he conceives to be his sworn duty, but unless there are very efficient four-wheel brakes upon him he soon adds a multitude of inventions of his own, all of them born of his professional virtuosity and designed to lather and caress his sense of power.”

I believe we’re at that latter stage..

  3. I noticed the frolicking, of necessity, was more apparent in some vs others.
In a couple of ways, I have a new found appreciation of Dolly Parton!

  4. I’ve learned to be wary of cows eating fresh, green grass. When those suckers cough they can squirt a long LONG ways out the opposite end. Not one of the hazards I had on my list of things to watch out for when I first started photographing the area, but it is NOW.

  5. EBD….I believe we are beyond the latter stage. It is almost to the point where only open revolution will work.

  6. Joe Biden wanted to impeach Bush for doing the same thing:
“I want to stand by the comment I made.
The reason I made the comment was as a warning. I don’t say those things lightly.
I was chairman of the judiciary committee for 17 years or its ranking member.
I teach separation of powers and constitutional law. This is something I know. So I got together and brought a group of constitutional scholars together to write a piece that I’m going to deliver to the whole United State Senate pointing out the President has no constitutional authority…to take this nation to war against a county of 70 million people unless we’re attacked or unless there is proof we are about to be attacked.
And if he does, if he does, I would move to impeach him.”
    Anyway…….. anyway,
Does any one believe old Joe hair plugs will now bring impeachment charges against his fearless,
    spine of steel, Oblamer messiah?

  7. And you are not just BSing us. You have to stay away at least 15 feet and be ready to pivot at a split second. Bin there, done that.
Those cows jumping for joy reminds me of how hogs go absolutely nuts when you throw 1/2 ice cream pail of coal in the pen. Best treat they ever had. They actually smile at you.
Bureaucrats…I was having a good evening til I read that word.

  8. I love cows but they are dumber than board fences. They will actually climb into a feed trough and shit and piss in it while eating. Beef cattle are never around long enough to get real close to but milk cows are kinda special. When you grow up with them they can become very trusting. Even while young you realize how dependent they are on your care.

  9. because lawyers are sooooooooooooooooooooo smart.
BEST LAWYER/INSURANCE STORY OF THE YEAR, DECADE, AND POSSIBLY THE CENTURY.
This took place in Charlotte North Carolina . A lawyer purchased a box of very rare and expensive cigars, then insured them against, among other things, fire.
Within a month, having smoked his entire stockpile of these great cigars, the lawyer filed a claim against the insurance company.
In his claim, the lawyer stated the cigars were lost ‘in a series of small fires.’
The insurance company refused to pay, citing the obvious reason, that the man had consumed the cigars in the normal fashion.
The lawyer sued and WON! (Stay with me.)
Delivering the ruling, the judge agreed with the insurance company that the claim was frivolous. The judge stated nevertheless, that the lawyer held a policy from the company, in which it had warranted that the cigars were insurable and also guaranteed that it would insure them against fire, and that by not specifically defining what is considered to be unacceptable ‘fire’, was obligated to pay the claim.
Rather than endure 20 lengthy and costly appeal processes, the insurance company accepted the ruling and paid $15,000 to the lawyer for his loss of the cigars that perished in the ‘fires’.
    NOW FOR THE BEST PART….
After the lawyer cashed the check, the insurance company had him arrested on 24 counts of ARSON!!!
With his own insurance claim and testimony from the previous case being used against him, the lawyer was convicted of intentionally burning his insured property and was sentenced to 24 months in jail and a $24,000 fine.
This true story won First Place in last year’s Criminal Lawyers Award contest.
