I think so. And maybe public victimization is for certain people a privileged status, one whose rewards include attention/consolation/encouragement/support from friendly strangers.

  2. Done, bluetech. At the time I voted it was 41% yes, 52% no.
Let’s see what we can do about that…

  3. That video brings back memories. The Who really were a great band. I’m going to end up spending the rest of the night watching old Who videos.
Looking at that audience, it’s clear that The Who were Mods, or at least played to that movement.

  4. Wow… Things are getting really bad at the Washington Compost and the AP. Spot the screamingly obvious error here.

  5. “Wagner Controversy: Opera Cancels Holocaust Staging of ‘Tannhäuser'”
“A staging of Richard Wagner’s “Tannhäuser” — set during the Holocaust and including a gas chamber and a shooting scene — shocked audience members so badly that some had to be given medical attention. The theater has now cancelled the production out of fear it will damage its artistic reputation.”

  7. “According to voter registration records, Ariel Castro, the Cleveland kidnapper, is a registered Democrat. He was also the alleged leader among the three Castro brothers, who were arrested this week, and the owner of the house at 2207 Seymour Ave., where the three abducted local women had been kept in captivity for over a decade.”

“In a way, the Democrat political machine, which includes the mainstream media, are trying to do to the Republicans and the rest of the country what the Castro brothers did to the women they abducted and forcibly put in their “care.”
That’s why the news that Ariel Castro is a Democrat may be relevant after all.”
posted this morning also @ BCF …. Rush asks this morning, These women were kicked in the stomach, and starved until they aborted their babies (5 times?) Will “the left” dare to ask, “what if one of these women had a gun”?

    “Europe day:
A rise halted by nation states”
“For Die Zeit publisher-editor Josef Joffe, the European experience has been derailed by the reluctance of some member states to give up their sovereignty.”
“I have to start by correcting my friend Niall. He’s wrong about the phone number. There is a phone number. The phone number is Catherine Ashton’s. You call the phone number and then you get a computer voice: for Germany, press 1; for France, press 2 — that tells you where Europe is at.
Let me say something else. I think Europe was a wonderful idea. After all, Zeus, the god of gods, risked his marriage by running off with Europa — a woman he was smitten with. And Ovid, the Roman poet, sings, “Till in the open sea he bore his prize … her right hand grasped a horn, the other leant upon his back.”
Europe was also a wonderful idea several eons later when it decided to unify after the two most murderous wars in history. What a magnificent story. First,…”.

Presser today…families of Seal Team Six, that were killed in one helicopter over Afghanistan, seek a Congressional Inquiry. This was the same team that got Bin Laden, and had their names revealed by the Administration.
The ‘trusted’ Afghani Imam added salt to the wounds as he offered them up as the enemy during the ceremony to bring the remains home to America. The translation has been verified. They have a video, shown at this presser today.
