  1. Christmas in Jail!
I do volunteer work for an agency that deals with alcoholics, drug addicts and their families, I`ve visited people who had spent Christmas in jail. Trust me, they weren`t singing!!

  2. From the link provided by SDH:
“The so-called “Arab Spring” is an initiative by Obama and his foreign policy advisers, Clinton, in her capacity of Secretary of State, and others including some of the most powerful people in the world”
First clue:…the glowing reports by the MSM.

  3. When Will Death Spiral States Impose Taxes On Fleeing Citizens? from Bill Frezza
“One of the most fascinating characteristics of government borrowing – whether at the local, state, or federal level – is that debts contracted over time are obligations tied to specific geographical boundaries but not to the citizens living there when those debts were incurred. For example, while it’s customary to say that each of the 210,000 residents of Stockton, California, are on the hook for their share of the bankrupt municipality’s estimated $700 million in unpaid bills, the day one of them picks up and moves, personal responsibility for that debt drops to zero.
Imagine if that type of tax “evasion” were eliminated. How would it change America?
What’s to stop legislators from passing laws that make debt obligations due and payable by any citizen who decides to leave for another jurisdiction? After all, they don’t hesitate to take your money when you die.”

When they tell you they don’t mumble something about ordering it from Amazon.

  5. Thanks Stan. This is not surprising. Btw, when you are in McNally Robinson, ask about the Che poster, you know, the great humanitarian.
peterj, I expect that they will be skating on the Ob River. Might have to check the nuts on the bridges though…they could be freezing off.

  6. I don’t believe we will see Hildabeast for quite awhile.

” Al Qaeda did not, or perhaps could not, hijack American planes on the 11th anniversary of its infamous attacks. But terrorists with well-known ties to al Qaeda orchestrated assaults on U.S. diplomatic facilities in several countries, killing an ambassador and three other Americans in the process.
One cannot help but think that they proved Ayman al Zawahiri’s point: Despite the killing of its senior leaders in Pakistan, al Qaeda lives.”
    Sorry Joe.

  7. Manitoba whistleblower assigned to “non-job” after warning of government fraud, read 156 books while collecting his pay.

  8. A writer for the National Review hypothesized that the shootings in Newtown, Conn., would not have occurred if the school had more men around to fight back against Adam Lanza, “or even some of the huskier 12-year-old boys.”
As part of an NRO symposium called “Newtown Answers,” Charlotte Allen writes:
There was not a single adult male on the school premises when the shooting occurred. In this school of 450 students, a sizeable number of whom were undoubtedly 11- and 12-year-old boys (it was a K–6 school), all the personnel — the teachers, the principal, the assistant principal, the school psychologist, the “reading specialist” — were female. There didn’t even seem to be a male janitor to heave his bucket at Adam Lanza’s knees. Women and small children are sitting ducks for mass-murderers. The principal, Dawn Hochsprung, seemed to have performed bravely. According to reports, she activated the school’s public-address system and also lunged at Lanza, before he shot her to death. Some of the teachers managed to save all or some of their charges by rushing them into closets or bathrooms. But in general, a feminized setting is a setting in which helpless passivity is the norm. Male aggression can be a good thing, as in protecting the weak — but it has been forced out of the culture of elementary schools and the education schools that train their personnel. Think of what Sandy Hook might have been like if a couple of male teachers who had played high-school football, or even some of the huskier 12-year-old boys, had converged on Lanza.

  9. Agreed north of 60, in reading about mass shootings the past few days it is amazing how many spree-killers have been tackled and subdued by unarmed men.

  11. Robert, considering the mental capabilities of recent Liberal Party of Canada leaders and current provincial Liberal and NDP premiers, and at least one Progressive Conservative premier, Jo would be an improvement. At least she did not waffle or obfuscate on her answers.

  12. Here is some good news for a change. In trial at Sunnybrook Hospital is a device that has succeeded non-surgically to fix the brain of a man crippled by uncontrolled tremors for the past 10 years and he had to give up his engineering career as he couldn’t even sign his name.
The researchers still must prove the device manufactured by Israel’s InSightec Ltd. — which costs more than $2-million — is safer and more effective than the existing operations before it is used widely, said Dr. Michael Schwartz, head of neurosurgery at Sunnybrook.
Of course the Islamic world is just in the process of developing a similar device….LOL as if that would happen!
