Exactly 2 years ago a group of singers assembled at a shopping mall in Southern California to delight everyone present with an incredibly special performance. While we realize that this has a significant chance of offending the overly precious sensibilities of the politically correct princesses out there (both genders), it’s a risk we’re willing to take.
In the run up to Christmas, we hope that the lives of you & your family are not too frenzied and you do take a few moments to enjoy the true meaning of the season.
In between your other responsibilities, if you have a few moments to share your reader tips in the comments, that would be much appreciated.

  1. Thanks for taking the risk. It’s all for the good. Without getting into nitty-gritty (or to me, common sense faith) Christmas doctrine, it is a time, as it should be ALL YEAR ROUND, for Peace, and on earth Good Will toward men (and women), no matter what their orientation or flag. The Spirit of Christmas is extended to ALL, and with loving consideration, there shouldn’t be too many of the Christian hardliners who’d decapitate you if you didn’t go along with it.

  14. The mystery of the trainload of biodiesel that crossed back and forth across the Sarnia-Port Huron border without ever unloading its cargo, as reported by CBC News, has been solved.
    CBC News received several tips after a recent story about a company shipping the same load of biodiesel back and forth by CN Rail at a cost of $2.6 million in the summer of 2010. It turns out the shipments were part of a deal by a Toronto-based company, which made several million dollars importing and exporting the fuel to exploit a loophole in a U.S. green energy program.

  18. This is a rant re exploiting Christmas. I live in Ontario. A couple of years ago I attended the `seasonal`light festival at Upper Canada Village. I was totally put off as there was absolutely no acknowledgement of Christmas being a Christian tradition — even though the context here is historical. There were lit-up deer and trees with lights, but nothing reminiscent of anything Christian (e.g. nativity, angels, wise men, Christian carols, etc. — not even in their historical `church`. I believe this is the Ontario government (McGuinty`s) being politically correct. Well it is not politically correct to distort history, nor is it politically correct to use a Christian holiday as an excuse to generate traffic and drum up business, while totally ignoring the origins of the holiday. I will not attend again and advise friends also to avoid this commercial, atheistic production. You do not have to be a Christian to acknowledge the Christian heritage basis for this holiday.
