    REPORTER: Congresswoman, Senator Reid says he has no proof there’s a sex video or that Romney didn’t pay his taxes. Do you think it’s fair for him to make such bold accusations if he is unsure they’re true?
    PELOSI: Harry Reid made a statement that is true. Somebody told him there’s a sex tape. It is a fact.
    REPORTER: Are you saying Senator Reid’s unsubstantiated claims are a fact?
    PELOSI: The unsubstantiated claims were told to Harry Reid by unknown Bain investors. And that’s a fact. If Governor Romney says they are not true, he can disprove them. It’s that easy.
    REPORTER: So you believe Mitt Romney should respond to baseless accusations?
    PELOSI: Yes, if it’s a fact they were said. And it is a fact.

    It seems unlikely to me, against my preferences of course, that we’re going to see Ann Romney naked. I’m also supposing that Trace Adkins’s, “One Hot Mama” video won’t be part of the presentation at the Republican National Convention this year. But I guess we have to live with that…
    On the other hand, Toby Keith could climb down off the fence and state a clear position this time around — at the Republican National Convention.
    On the other, other hand the tracking polls look pretty good for Mitt — I’m cautiously optimitic.
    On the other, other, other hand, how was it, exactly, that the Democratic Party of the United Sates of America came to represented by Nancy Pelosi, who is an implausible woman, and Harry Reid, who is an implausible man?

  28. I think the most intriguing thing to emerge from the US presidential election lately is the fact that there is a mole in the Obama campaign leaking material to Sean Hannity. This is about to get interesting. He’s clearly being very careful since this is the first time he’s released anything specific and many people could probably have had access to the conference call. I hope whoever it is survives the man hunt.
