  1. Ford Motors was the only American auto-maker who didn’t receive a government bailout. Unfortunately, somone forgot to send the memo to MSNBC’s Chris Mathews, who credits the automaker’s profitable status to the Tingle-Maker In Chief:

    “It seems to me one thing that somebody of a business background like Romney – and that’s where he spent his life, making money – should be very good at picking winners, testing business character, who’s got it, who doesn’t have it. Alan Mulally, the head of Ford now, has taken them to number five in the country as profitable corporation. Ford is back as the number five most profitable company in the country right now….it seems to me that somebody should have paid attention to the fact that Mulally having this kind of gift and ability to do this kind of thing, and he didn’t bet on him. Obama bet on him.”

  9. I spent a little time at a religious site that is based in Calgary and found these statements.
    These three are under the heading ” Children in the West “.
    “It is haraam for you to give your children free rein in forming friendships with the children of the kuffaar.”
    “You should instill a hatred for this culture and its ways in the hearts of your children,”
    “No matter how great the corruption in Muslim countries, it cannot compare to the kufr and permissiveness that exists in the west, except in a few rare cases.”

    Perhaps these pictures should be followed by before and after photos of Detroit to show the difference in a nation that prides itself in work and a nation that simply accepts decline as long as their personal benefits remain intact. The lesson in these pictures is largely ignored by generations that can’t even comprehend the significance in the story behind them.

    Before any teacher was given permission to take the children to a Mosque, the principal should be forced to request 30 Muslem children from the local Mosque to visit a Christian church for 2.5 hrs. That would never happen but just might make the few brainless teachers re-evaluate their clueless notions of peace on earth.

    eurefugee, Copenhagen is a beautiful city and we enjoyed visiting there in 2010. The resistance museum was great and Churchill’s bust likeness gave the park there a nice touch.

    Now isn’t that interesting ? As soon as it becomes Obamas campaign slogan all references to “Forward” must be purged so it can’t be associated with the disasters of the past. Shows a mindset with a weakness in history study. Also shows how stupid Obamas handlers are when they can’t do 10 minutes research before putting all their eggs into a defective basket. Lucky for them most of their supporters know nothing about history either.

  24. peterj the campaign slogan was deliberately chosen taking into account it’s historical context. It wasn’t just dreamed up by mistake. This is who Obama is. This is who he surrounds himself with. Only those in denial think this was a mistake.

    I considered that angle but rejected it on the theory that it has ended in disaster thoughout history. I do believe we give far too much faith in the presumption that elected officials are smart on a broad range of issues. Many are capable or even brilliant on a narrow range and far too many are simply born with the gift of gab and a quest for power and greed , but can be dumb as a stick on other fronts. Obama has surrounded himself with like minded thinkers but go through the ranks and it’s a bit of a mental wasteland. All reflected in his policies and ongoing failures to see economic problems while they are biting him in the ass. His main support comes from the Hollywood elite, the dirt poor, the uneducated, the minorities, the OWS crowd, the gays and the tree huggers. His solution to prosperity is more tax on the rich and his inner circle agrees. With 3 years of destruction behind him his only option is “Forward” with the same failed policies and you can’t fix stupid. I really doubt if they put any research into the word. If your theory is correct we are in even bigger trouble. I’ll just hang on to the notion that the man is simply dumb.

    I don’t how much this reception will cost,but I do know that the Banff Springs hotel is a tad up-scale. The dinner menu in the restaurants show that a meal with appetizer will set you back about $60 per head. Throw in drinks and you’re talking a pretty penny.
    George’s little party ,even with his posse of bodyguards, at the TIFF may have been a bargain.

    For the record the story didn’t claim Romney beat up anyone. It stated that he harassed him. In any event I take this story with a grain of salt, particularly so soon after The One comes out and endorses gay marriage. Maybe Rather has fake but true documents proving this happened.

    The Obama really isn’t engaged in politics, and he certainly doesn’t care for it. He disdains people and their petty needs; after all, he has had everything given to him on a platter. Yes he WAS born with a silver spoon in his mouth. I think he sees politics as a vehicle for his ego to … what? …masturbate itself? I’m not actually sure; perhaps President of the World.or Master of the Universe. It must certainly be gratifying to be President of the US of A and be adulated by fans, but do not dare ask ME to do anything; I am so refined and articulate; my role is President. He is an actor in his own fantasy. Does he actually really exist, or is he some post-modern Big Brother? Has any student of rhetoric yet noticed how repetetive and vacuous his speeches are, except when he’s trying to whip up class jealousy.
