  1. This is an interesting story. The cbc has a story up about 7 court challenges that are asking for by-elections. It is quite likely fluff, but it does keep the ‘Harper is evil’ story going. The cbc crowd is lapping it up.
The ridings are all close Conservative wins and the court challenges are backed by the ‘Council of Canadians’. This will also deflect from the NDP fiasco. Time to fight back. We need to someone to launch court challenges in every Liberal riding.

  2. Ahhh, gun porn.
It’s cool it’s out there, but a little to Pam Anderson for me.
I’d never goes so far as to say it’s a Sandra Fluke, but it still attracts the wrong kind of guys looking for a quicky regradless. IMHO.

  3. You call that recoil? I’ll show you recoil…
Aww shucks! I thought you were going to show the john’s initial reaction as they showed up in Libby’s latest personal franchised enterprise: Jacko’s Rub ‘n Tug Emporium!
And them ain’t guns….more like mattresses.

  4. This is one reason of many why the Wild Rose will be the next gov’t of Alberta.
” ” The fact that we have resources isn’t enough to allow us to dictate on anything on a national policy stage,” Ms. Redford said on Tuesday in Calgary.”
No,Alison, the fact that we have resources and are paying the bills is why we can dictate. What a twit. She thinks that in a family of ten, that the leeches should have the same say as the worker. NO.

  5. Rachel Lucas is actually back blogging again, with wonderful long posts with scads of pictures.
A Month in London is vintage Lucas.
So much better than her regrettably brief “return” early last year that Instapundit noted.
    Spread the word.

  6. Only the japanese could come up with this. A speech jamming gun! Coming soon to the gallery of the house of commons.

  7. Looking Glass @11:51 – I like Rachel Lucas a great deal. If the mainstream papers had any clue what they were doing she’d have a column, a huge salary and a couple of Pulitzers. (Maureen Dowd would have none of the above.)

  8. Ontario Green Energy Act
The numbers in Auditor Jim McCarter’s Dec. 5 report.
Most startling are his comparisons of the cost of renewable energy in 2010 versus 2018 projections. For a convenience store, the monthly charge attributable to renewable energy in 2010 was $38. It will be $500 a month in 2018. For a supermarket, the monthly cost will go from $385 to $5,000 a month, and for a large industrial operation, the 2010 number was $200,000, going to $2.4 million a month in 2018. That’s just the renewable energy part of the electricity bill.

  10. That racist police department in florida which investigated the Trayvon Martin case? Their chief is a racist black man. Probably a clansman.

  11. Robert @2:37 – she’s a blogger. Not terribly political; likes dogs (she’d appreciate the thingy I linked @1:34). American, married to a military guy; lived in the U.K. for a while and I guess she’s in Italy now. That’s really all I know; she’s juat a terrific writer. Don’t know how far back her archives go at this point: Website.

  12. I don’t have a link . The cbc’s Rosemary Barton just expressed her disappointment that PMSH did not show up in the HofC,as they had been touting a showdown between him and Mulcair. (How dare he?)
She then said that he may have an excuse because he had a long flight(Tokyo to Ottawa).
    The cbc,entitled and arrogant.
    FIRE.THEM.ALL.

  13. What death panels, you retarded paranoid chillbilly? “Did Dick do a dick thing and leapfrog a bunch of other worthies, people who aren’t viewed by some as war criminals and evildoers but rather are decent folk decades younger, likelier to contribute to society and to provide a better return on investment for our taxpayer health-care dollars?”

  14. That is a gun that shortens things.
A bit of BBQ sauce up the barrel and when ya hit anything it’s skinned, cooked, de-boned, seasoned and better yet – you can DRINK it through a straw.
