  1. this is the dufus who directed Al Gore’s mockumentary An Inconvenient Truth.
Poor guy, needs a full psych workup.

  2. “He ran hoping to change the political climate in Washington, but that hasn’t happened” – LOL
I take it this guy is not a 1%’er?

  3. No faults.
Where’s that halo image again, the one where Obama looks like a black Lenin, save the gotee?

  4. That interview is just as funny as the one Soledad did.
He couldn’t find any faults! Perhaps if he shaved Obama’s head he might find a 666. I wonder if he’d consider that a positive too.

  5. Since CNN is infamous for relying upon Wikipedia for their definitions, let’s take a look at the current one for “Documentary film“:
Documentary films constitute a broad category of nonfictional motion pictures intended to document some aspect of reality, primarily for the purposes of instruction or maintaining a historical record.
Emphasis of key words was by yours truly.

  6. You have seriously got to be kidding me…I almost threw up in mouth watching the start of that video.
What has happened to America? Are the Democrats and Obama paying all these morons to spew this crap? No wonder they are broke.

  7. A male modern Leni Riefenstahl. Ralph has it right, “Unmitigated horseshit” and so was his previous major production.

  8. I hadn’t realized that Guggenheim was in on the “Convenient Scam”, so it makes more sense now. He is all-in on the Marxist payroll. Integrity sure seems like a distant memory for the grand ole U.S.A.

  9. I guess we should be thankful Presidents can only have two terms. Although I suspect they may change that during the “chosen” ones second term as who else could lead America….

  10. Change the word “documentary” with “propaganda” and it all makes so much sense. Davis Guggenheim is a bimbo. He took a “pay cut” – what the hell does that mean? Is there a standard wage for “documentary” filmmakers? If so, is it adjusted for inflation? Hell, why doesn’t he just take the difference between his usual wage and what he got paid for this and get it written off his taxes as a campaign donation?

  11. Geez, I wonder if he is also a full-fledged commie intent on destroying the U.S. just like Obama?

  12. This guy took a pay cut? Does he mean he took less subsidy from the US government to make his steaming pile of excrement disguised as a documentary? Or is he like a porn actor and get paid by the act? I mean, he basically felated Obama for the world to see. Does he get more if he fondles Obama’s sac while he’s down there?

  13. Wow, a far left-wing New York jewish propagandist. Never seen that one before.

  14. Piers is in deep doo doo with his whacky Lib tin foil buddy’s after that probe!

  15. “A male modern Leni Riefenstahl. Ralph has it right, “Unmitigated horseshit” and so was his previous major production.”

For all her faults, which I doubt I have to enumerate here, Riefenstahl was very talented.

  16. A “documentary” paid for by the “campaign”. Even if you believe that “documentaries” are objective and truthful and all that good stuff shouldn’t that give you pause? I mean like a hardcore leftist who’s deep into the depth of hoping and changing surely must think about that for a second. Hmmm paid for by the “campaign”… gee is that a “documentary” or a “political ad”?

  17. I have come to an understanding that Obama has – for various reasons – been able to bring many elements of the populace into his thrall. The incredulity of the rest of us is lost on that crowd.

  18. When asked, “Who paid for it?” Davis answered, “The campaign.”
So, this is no documentary—as if we’d have been sucked in anyway: it’s campaign propaganda paid for by the Democrats to one of their useful idiots. Wow!
And I guess Piers had better invest in some TV dinners once the invites begin to dry up.

  19. Obama and his minions just become scarier and scarier. The pity is that there are those out there that will believe this crap – as they did with that other prevaricator, Gore.

  20. Black Mamba, yes I realized that. Even though she had friendly relationships with some Nazi Party leaders, she was not entirely pleased with how her 1935 Nuremberg Rally film was used as a propaganda tool. Whereas Guggenheim deliberately set out to make propaganda films. So maybe I was being a little unfair to Leni.
Her 1936 Olympic film was also very advanced for its time and her photography before and after the war until her death at age 101 was renowned for its excellence.

  21. Bernie Goldberg’s book title (on the media’s relationship with Obama) comes to mind: “A Slobbering Love Affair”.

  22. So many firsts for obama, first he pays for a half hour infomercial for his first campaign, now he’s opted for a ‘documentary’ about himself for this campaign. Cad.

  23. Here’s a parallel.
If Sarah Palin’s campaign team paid Larry the Cable Guy to produce a documentary and he was interviewed on his work, would it dispel any prejudices the left has about conservatives or reinforce it.
My point is that Davis appearance fits to a tee what is in a great many (conservative or otherwise) the visual representation of your typical out of touch Hollywood liberal elite that has never really understood how all the things government does is paid for.

  24. I’ve got nothing.

Well, you may have nothing, marco, but I’ve got a nice smile happening here.

  25. The negatives in the film are the people who oppose the ‘one’. Sure,”He is the LORD thy God
Thou shalt have no other gods”,the first commandment of the Left.

  26. O.M.F.G.
The world is in serious trouble.
He reflects the mind-set of a lot of people.
As Bill Whittle suggests, we’re going to have to hit the iceberg straight-on, to fix this sh*t.

  27. He has weird lips..hard to look at.. Like he spent 4 months sucking on something..wonder what that was?

  28. Obviously a graduate of the Michael Moore school of “documentary” film making. He’s right about one thing, Obozo has brought people together: total strangers coming together at Tea party rally’s, gun owners discussing what caliber of ammo is best for statists at gun stores and people getting together to create armed patrols of the AZ Mexico border after the federal governments refusal to defend US sovereignty.
I’ve always wondered how the cult of personality got started in totalitarian countries and we’ve just seen the beginning. Next there will be movies about Obozo scoring 18 holes in one during a golf game after he’d just swum the Yangtze river faster than the secret service agents in the powerboat beside him.

  29. Knacker @ 5:58 p.m.: “The guy is genius. He has just magically redefined the meaning of ‘fault’.”
    Not to mention “accomplishment”.

  30. One is left speechless listening to Guggenheim’s vacuous drivel.
    He’s an utter moron.
