  1. By God, I love Ezra when he is on a tear…
His ‘Occupation’ fashion ensemble is a hoot, he has these characters down to a “T”.
Delighted to hear he’s got his glasses back, who wants an ‘Occupier’ who can’t see straight!!

  2. @ FREE:
Because the current mayor’s have embraced the ‘timidity of despair’.
Alternately, when there is ‘no deposit, there is no return’. Where is the tent recycling depot?

  3. As much as i liked Ezra before, i was worried about him on Sun News. I thought he would be over the top.
He has far surpassed expectation and is awesome. He makes waves and is a huge thorn in the lefty world. I love how the CBC knows him by first name.

  4. Wouldn’t a smart person do tent recovery at random times between 2 and 5 AM when no-one’s there? Then have them sign paperwork that amounts to a confession to get their stuff back. Then charge them with illegal camping.

  5. Maybe they need to register the tents, very much like they seem to want to register everything else.
They could put licence tags on them to match the registry, need to be in possession of them at all times, and lock them up when not in use or lose them.
If and when someone reports that their registered tents are in misuse, a SWAT team needs to be sent to their registered addresses to haul them away in front of neighbours wearing nothing but their underwear in the dead of night.
Heavy fines, felony convictions, job &property loss, plus banning of all camping and tenting privileges for life should follow.

  6. Ezra’s sure right about one thing;Mayors in ALL the Occupy” cities area bunch of cowards.
So, a pair of cops sit there all night and watch the site, but don’t intervene when Levant and his crew come in,maybe both cops were asleep and didn’t notice.
And, possibly the cops are on overtime, getting time and a half or double time. One would think the cops would have at least been curious enough to come over and see that there wasn’t a violent confrontation.
Allah almighty,we call our selves “civilized”,I think “whipped” would be a more appropriate term,at least for our Leaders, who are incapable of enforcing the law in the face of any confrontation.
Good work,Ezra. We sure as hell wouldn’t see this story on the rest of the MSM.

  7. Someone needs to send this vid to the cbc (22 Min,Mercer,Delahunty etc) I can see Ezra,in this get-up,becoming Sun TV’s version of Warrior Princess, only a heck of a lot funnier!

  8. Ezra is acting like a journalist. He’s actually going out and getting a story. CBC and the rest should take note.

  9. If these idiots are so against private property, why are they upset at Ezra going into the tents?

  10. Re the Occupiers’ Toronto court case:
    1) This short clip’s a hoot: Hugh Laurie as Bertie Wooster being excoriated by an angry, law and order judge.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqAghlIB2KM
I hope Justice Brown gives the multiple, law-breaking occupiers a lot more than Bertie got.
    2) The name David Brown tripped my memory: it seem that he is THE David Brown I know of and admire, a devout Roman Catholic and no lefty—for a change. This is the opening of a column written by Rory Leishman on Justice Brown’s appointment to the Ontario Supreme Court in 2006:
“On September 18, the Harper government outraged liberals and socialists by appointing a Catholic, Mr. Justice David M. Brown, to the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Most of his critics are concerned that Brown is not just a nominal Christian, but a devout Catholic who upholds the basic principles of Judeo-Christian morality.
“No one has impugned Brown’s competence in the law. Within the legal profession, he is universally recognized as a leading expert in energy law, constitutional law and Charter litigation. . . .”
    http://www.thefreelibrary.com/Mr.+Justice+David+Brown.-a0154070047
Sometimes the gods are smiling on us. Go, Ezra! Go, Judge Brown!

  11. This is from an article about the Occupiers’ court case in Toronto:
“But Occupy Toronto argues the camp is not what critics are making it out to be.
“’It is an experiment and example of the kind of inclusive, respectful and honest society that Canada could indeed become,’ argued Humber College student Bryan Batty in his affidavit.”
You can’t make these names up: Jennifer Lynch, head of Canada’s draconian Human Rights (sic) Commission is one of many. Now we have Occupier, Bryan Batty. That’s for sure!

  12. Ezra akbar!
All the wingnuts jumping up and down in the one clip of Occupy Toronto reminds me of the dervishes at Khartoum in the 1880s.

  13. Brave man, that Ezra Levant.
Name any other Canadian journalist who would have had the guts to do this?
    Love him!

  14. old Lori >
“Name any other Canadian journalist who would have had the guts to do this?’
To early, to cold, to well below their pay grade, and most defiantly not specifically written in their union contract.

  15. Jay @12:20
I second that. Not only can he cite chapter and verse on any subject, but he can also do the flipside, and use the lefts tactics against them. Except when Ezra does it, it leaves you on the floor laughing. I love his Occupy-Gear!
    Ezra Ackbar!

  16. There are times when Ezra just makes my skin crawl, and others when he hits it out of the park. This is one of those “hits it out of the park” occasions. We need more of his get-in-your-face, do-you-walk-the-talk? investigative journalists. He’s putting the lame stream media to shame for dereliction of duty.

  17. Wallyj, the big news I got from cbc today,is that we should be celebrating World Toilet Day!Maybe some of these street-crappers should get a clue, and use one!

  18. I missed the world toilet dat article, but I’ll tak your word for it.
This UN complaint may not be as foolish as it appears. Ezra has been bothering them from the start, and he is Jewish.

  19. Why all the hate on Rob Ford? He gave the Occutwits™ some time to put on their charade, but when reports of infectious diseases surfaced at other locations, and the Toronto group started erecting semi-permanent structures. he acted to evict them. The twits got a court injunction, and a hearing will be held Monday. What was Ford supposed to do? Defy the judge? That would make him as lawless as the Occutwits™. I’m pretty confident that Judge Brown will uphold the eviction notices, and when he does, Ford will instruct the police to act. That’s what people who obey the law do.

  20. Ezra is THE BEST! Making fun of the enemy is the most effective tool: it gives maximum pleasure to Ezra’s confreres and, as Richard Warman recommends, “maximum disruption” to the others. Mea culpa, but I love to think of the ulcers and fitful sleeps Ezra’s causing the useful idiots.
Ezra’s costumes are delightful. I’d love to see his Halloween costumes when he was little!
(I’m usually not home for Ezra’s early show. I wish Sun would give Michael Coren—who’s sometimes tedious, as are too many of his guests—the 5:00 p.m. time slot, put Ezra at 8:00, move Adler to 10:00 and give John Robson his own show at 7:00. There—that’s just about right!! Oh, and get rid of David Akin.)

  21. The following has just been held. (I compose in Word, so have my comment intact.) I’ve removed the name that might be the problem and will try again. If that doesn’t work, I’ll wait and see what happens . . .

  22. The historic Conservative strategy for power was based on a coalition two groups who thought of themselves as majorities,
i.e. a combination of Protestant English Canada and Catholic Quebec. Now the idea is to be inclusive.
    .
The historic Liberal strategy for power was based on a coalition of minorities, i.e. Catholics plus disgruntled Protestants in
English Canada, and also convincing Catholic Quebec to think of itself as a minority within Canada. Time has passed by
patronage as a modern cohesive policy to attract important support inside and outside government and the policy direction
to take which will restore them to power is very unclear at the moment.
    .
The present policy of the left seems to have only one goal and it is one that is brilliantly succeeding, the creation of a coalition of misfits.

  23. I (and someone else who mentioned it first) voted for Ezra in this poll on cbc website:
Who shook up the political agenda in 2011? Send us your nominees for the Political Game Changers of 2011. We’ll feature five in our year-end shows.
Hate to think he’d get only two votes…

  24. The toque, checked jacket and fisticuffing proves it for me: “Ezra Levant. Like Chuck Norris only different.

  25. I actually like the occupests presence in the park. It’s an ongoing testament to the idiocy of the left and I’m surprised conservatives haven’t used this image to their advantage. I would be filming every bit of idiocy and wait for the nect election given the NDP is the official opposition.
I walked through that craphole this afternoon; what a dump.

  26. Ezra has proven himself to be Canada’s number one in investigative journalism and he does it in a style befitting the occasion!

  27. Much as I have little time for the Occupy movement, I have less for at best unresearched and at worst, ideology masquerading as journalism.
Seems a UK newspaper did an identical piece three weeks ago that was quickly refuted by military and infrared experts.
    Link here: bit.ly/tVDRmt
I’m tempted to ask where Ezra got his idea for the pieceand whether he knew going in that he wasn’t dealing with “settled science”?

  28. Jim Henshaw said: “Seems a UK newspaper did an identical piece three weeks ago that was quickly refuted by military and infrared experts.”
Uh huh. Except Ezra opened up tents and proved they were empty, before the apparatchiki got up in his face. They obviously did that because they knew the tents were empty too.
Infrared cameras are cheap and accurate. I saw one at Nedco electric supply store last week that can image one hot circuit in a breaker box, or find warm wires in a cold basement. A tent with people in it is warmer than one without, and even cheap IR cameras can image that.
You can do the same trick with a laser thermometer. Just measure the surface temps of the tents. Warm ones have occupants, ambient temp ones don’t.

  29. About five, six, I dunno, eight?? years ago, a young, ambitious, enthusiastic CPC neophyte spokesman by the name of Ezra Levant appeared on CBC’s Power and Politics, or whatever the hell it was called then, with I’mmmm Dahhhnnn Newmannn, (you know the prick that those Easter Island sculptors copied for their monolyths?), and pretty much portrayed him as a rube??
    Yeah, Ezra the fool!
    Well, times have changed.
    Ezra’s now got the soapbox!
The more buffoonery he can muster, the more he’ll expose the lunacy of the stupids and get under the skin of all those leftard media and political dicks.
He’s on a roll, and I’m lovin’ it.

  30. As far as respecting court injunctions go, I do believe a legal precident was set in Caledonia not long ago that allows a govenment to ignore them.
I am also confident that if/when the judge does not rule in favor of the squatters, they will ignore the ruling based on that precident.

  31. I have to apologize for saying nuke the gay whales all the time. Whales have been replaced by occupiers in Toronto and every other spineless city in the world.
