Intelligence provided to U.N. nuclear officials shows that Iran’s government has mastered the critical steps needed to build a nuclear weapon, receiving assistance from foreign scientists to overcome key technical hurdles, according to Western diplomats and nuclear experts briefed on the findings.
The military industrial complex along with the world economy desperately needs a kick start…Obama’s presidency was designed/required to be weak on foreign policy/security to allow the mullahs time to put together “The first move”…
Just my humble opinion.
At some point Iran will have to test their device. One can hardly imagine trying to use an untested device, as a failure risks a rather nasty response. So, once the weapon is tested, nobody, including our many professional journalist friends out there, and the political class will be able to hide behind the ‘right to nuclear energy’ lie any longer.
Once Iran fires off a test, what will your rhetoric be then, Obama?
My suggestion is to promise a retaliatory response of launching a Crazy Attack… Fill up a warhead with Pelosi’s, Reids, a Holder or two, a few York U women’s studies profs, some journalists, a contingent of OWS protectors, PETA reps, a Toronto Star editor, CTV news producer, CBC executive, Acorn member, SEIU leader, suspended in a matrix of free hypodermic needles. The effects take a while, but eventually their society will break down. We’ll know it’s working when we see them devoting their public school cafeteria to mid-day Christian prayer. We can then offer them aid financial aid in Euros. Job done.
Israel is only seven miles wide at its narrowest. It would not take many nukes to take out the entire coastal plain and a few million Jews. Yes, there would be Palestinian deaths, too, but they’re mostly Sunni heretics anyway. The only hope Israel would have at that point is the terrible accuracy of Iranian missiles. No matter, there is no way the world can allow a second holocaust.
Sadly the world will gladly allow it. The massive islamo leftard allied voting bloc in the Useless Nations will see to that.

The escalating detail IMHO is the probability that imported advanced technology is allowing the Iranians, the ability to miniturize (weight and bulk) to make a suitable nuke payload for it’s newly developed missiles. China (PRC) provided Pakistan with the material for at least it’s first 2 devices, material that Pakistan had not managed to produce.
Possession of a Hiroshima style weapon is not so much a problem…needing a big aircraft as a delivery system is a biug restraint…a situation that lead the USSR to develope massive boosters…
Although the Isrealis have Patriot II…an advanced ABM…I doubt they are that comfortable with a 90%+ effectiveness….the consequences of that minor % failure rate would be devastating.
Then there is the very real possibility that the Iranian government is not rational….
As Condolessa Rice commented…military solutions to eliminate the Iranian nuclear facilities are easier said than done….location near population centres, hardening of those facilities and dispersal….
Without the grim possibility that nuclear ordinance could be needed to damage/destroy the hardened facilities….there I said it….
However there is the distinct possiblity, given the history of Islamic bomb makers…that they could accidently nuke themselves….
