  1. I guess they don’t teach a class at Columbia that helps you chill when you see a $5 monthly fee on your trust fund.
He should move to Ontario. I want to show him the fees on my Hydro bills.

  2. Finally SDA posts a mentally sound OWS protester.
I know that because he went to Columbia.

  3. It would be giving this guy too much credit to conclude that he is insulting our intelligence with his spiel about “misunderstandings”. He appears to be mentally ill. Surely his wealthy parents can pay for medical help, which is more than what some poor saps might get. Where are the “Occupy Mental Health Facilities” for the non-trust fund people?

  4. The problem is that everyone assumes he’s talking about the Wall Street Bankers. Actually re-listen to his “F*ck those people up there” tantrum, he shouting up at his parents looking out the window and simply happened to be caught up in the OWS crowd.
He believes all those freaky looking friendly people are there to support him in his efforts. Alex is that the real you?

  5. “Dude got some bad shrooms man…”
yup, most likely for that crowd and these days. By suggesting acid I’m showing my age eh?

  6. I’m not sure we have to go to blaming pharmaceuticals for this guys behavior, perhaps inbreeding is more likely. ChrisinMB, not much acid around at all these days compared to the 1960’s and the primary psychedelic out there is NMDA.
These protests seem to be a freak magnet and it was interesting seeing Steve Crowder’s video on Hot Air (where the Dallas occupation protesters were all on a lunch break). Had a strong flash of General Ripper in Dr. Strangelove when the “Libertarian” protester was going on about the systematic poisoning of our food supply by the government. Maybe the whole “Occupy X” movement is a plot by the psychiatric establishment to bring every nutcase out of hiding so that they can be identified and locked up in the new stimulus package psychiatric hospital infrastructure construction project which will restore the US economy.

  7. What a loser!! cant even put his hat on right that say’s it all .
He is the type of guy i used to beat the crap out of at parties……..just for sh!ts and giggles he had alll the words but no balls i love calling those guy’s out on that cause then there fans get a sweet dose of reality.

  8. Actually, this video is edited version out of a longer video, where this character behaves what you may call, normal.
Can`t find the video with an article where it said that the guy took also drama. The portion of video shows his acting skills.
The article said that one of the journalists got him to talk to a stockbroker, that is the guy in a suit. They sit in this nearby coffee shop where the protester is having a cappuccino.
The stockbroker is a self made man, saying that he is not one of the millionaires, though he is doing good.
    The protester is acting.
Here is a write up on the character:

  9. Am I the only one who found that guy’s freak-out disturbing?
I have seen this before up close…it is really disturbing…
This guy has some serious issues….he musta wandered away from his group home…..

  10. Completely correct Syncrodox, taking an old empathogen and N-methylating it so that ravers can dance all night to techno. Maybe more of a case of “Hope and Change” meets Fear and Loathing. I’d be really curious what HST would write about this event if he was still alive.

  11. I study intertemporal choice with respect to environmental decisions. I wish to develop socially based interventions to help moderate excessive discounting….

btw He is also interested in digital humanities and mass behaviour. …..He must be, I mean, he is the good example of the herd behaviour.

  12. This whole protest rally seems to be a magnet for every nut within bus ticket range. Are they really implying that 99% of the population they are representing is as nutty as they are ? The only common thread seems to be that they want more money for nothing and more freebees. There is little doubt Wall street needs reforming but but they are not asking for reform. Just a share of the bloated profits from these derivative wizards.

  13. These loonies are just posers. They’ve never experienced any hardships in their lives. I would bet that most of them just loafed through college until the loans dried up.
Now they’re latching onto this ‘protest’ in the hopes that government will bail their sorry asses out and make the taxpayers pick up the tab for their extravagant student loans.

  14. Edd-deeeee! Your Mommy just called! Playtime’s over. You have to go in now, its time for your bath!
    What a pathetic specimen.
