Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Only the totally humorless wouldn’t love a Cain-Obama contest. The “debates” would be wonderful and watching the MSM tie itself in knots would be hilarious.
Well if y’all look back at my previous post’s you would see that i totally like cain and have for awhile he is very green and by that i mean novice and that is good , he has not EVER been a politician and that is what i want for america, someone who is not the status quo , i would love a CAIN ,PALIN ticket or a CHRISTIE,CAIN ticket, or CAIN ,bachmann ticket, or a Cain perry ticket or a perry cain ticket….the same old same old just aint gonna do anymore!!!!
I WANT someone with an itchy trigger finger someone who is not afraid to level an entire country …not saying it woul be a good thing to do that but someone with the sack to do it..i am tired of the 9/11 crap cry ,shed tears talk about resolve and peace and jstice but barley do anything if it was prez ….i would have leveld most of the middle east simple no soldiers on the ground no nothing and anyone who messed around would have gotten the same good world war three at least i would have had a head start then ..plain and simple !!! i want some one with balls to tell people NO!!!!!
Wait a second, this can’t be true. I saw no mention of this on the CBC website: (I mean the Communist broadcasting corp, not congressional black caucus..)

here’s a woman target of a lot of racism:

funny, I dont recollect Laura Bush ‘now doan worry yer pretty little Texas head dear!) Bush doing anything like this.
Sent to http://tamino.wordpress.com/2011/09/21/god-help-texas-rick-perry-wont/ “How’d Huntsman do in that Florida straw pole? Don’t bother responding, this Canadian is laughing AT you!!
Just so you know, after I sent this I deleted my history so’s I don’t have to see your response. Knowing you saw this to delete it was good enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Damn that felt good!
I totally agree with Paul in Calgary. Western countries are in the fix they find themselves thanks mainly to professional politicians. Cain is a self-made man whereas Obama has never produced anything in his life other than his children.
Have to take a closer look at Caim. So far ive figured him to be an obscure fellow, running on the fringe.
Ron Paul only got 10%? WTH happened to all the Paulbots?
His 9-9-9 plan would do wonders at not just creating -real- economic stimulus, even more importantly it would remove Leviathan’s biggest weapon: the utterly byzantine tax code.
Revenue is not the first priority of the revenue service. That realization can take a while to sink in, but once it does the complexities and inefficiencies of the tax code make sense. They’re instruments for social engineering.
If his campaign gets traction, I honestly believe he could be at personal risk because there are enormous vested interests in the current tax code.
The best man won – Mr. Cain is an arch Conservative and his 999 plan makes a lot of sense to us ‘hicks’. Newt, Ron Paul and Herman Cain answered questions – the rest put on a show. Ron Pal won the on-line poll by a country mile but Fox took the poll down before most people had a chance to see it.
I think that this will be a different election – the American of slick and sleazy attacks; they want a serious discussion about the future; the Man with the best ideas will win this time around – the winner will not be the ‘present’ president.
It not racism when liberals hate you.
Remarkable if the Perry boomlet really has sputtered out the way it seems to have. Was it the ludicrous “you haven’t got a heart” line he used related to an illegal immigration issue? I don’t know that it was, but it’s tough terrain out there for politicians right now.
Natch…Nuance not included…battieries not…
Cain is still a very dark horse in this race. He has very little organization in many key states and until now not a whole lot of cash.
Look for Christie to announce or decline by Canadian thanksgiving. Odds get better every day he will run it seems.
And while I don’t think she’s the one, palin almost has to run. She has a relatively open field – if she can prove she’s good on her feet and if she has a similar option to 9-9-9 (genius BTW) she could be very favorably received.
If she doesn’t run now that perry is almost as good as gone that lack of aggressiveness will dog her four to eight years from now. It’s increasingly looking like a better chance than she will have in the future.
BTW, I am still all about Allen West. He hasn’t spent much time in Washington yet, it’s true, but he was organizing military units while Barry was organizing communities (um…) and learning how to be sleazy enough for Chi-town.
“Cain is still a very dark horse in this race.”
Is that one of those “dog-whitles” I keep hearing about? You know, that thing where we conservatives say something which sounds straight-forward but is actually code for “don your hoods, genlemen, those crosses aren’t going to burn themselves!”?
Look, the VRWC never got that top-secret pamphlet to me (probably still using the post office), I find the whole thing very confusing.
Herman Cain is a good man. A former ballistician, I see.
My dream ticket would be Cain, Palin, in either order.
Video: Where Herman Cain won the debate
http://hotair.com/archives/2011/09/23/video-where-herman-cain-won-the-debate/
It is very early days and while I like Mr. Cain it takes more than business acumen , which he has plenty of, to gain the nomination and win the election. I simply do not think Mr. Cain has that kind of party support or the backing of his own supporters to raise enough money.
Look at Newt. He is about bankrupt but still hanging in there. And , let us face it please:
To get rid of all the time bombs Obama and his cronies have installed in government bureaus in Washington, it is going to take one savvy person to weave through all that. Somebody who is willing to go ‘balls to the wall’ with these Marxists, Socialist cretins. The ONLY two I know of who have that kind of TRUE GRIT is Perry and Palin.
Christie is a global warmist and so is Romney.
Crosses them both off, in my books, right away.
Paul in Calgary is right. The US needs a POTUS who will nuke the Islamifascists back into the stone age. If they don’t take a hard line the US will look like Eurabia… oh wait, Detroit already is.

Racists
was my first reaction when I read it on Drugs….erm…Drudge:-)))
Interesting result. Have to find out more about Cain although it might be worth pointing out there hasn’t been a single primary yet. A bit disappointing about Ron Paul although I have to admit he’s probably too Libertarian for a majority of the population.
One advantage that Cain has is that he isn’t a politician and politicians end up resembling each other more than they resemble the general population. If Cain ends up as the Republican nominee, I might be wrong in my statement made some months ago that BO’s contribution to American politics is that no black man would ever again be POTUS (not sure if BO’s TOTUS is the same thing).
I’ll take it.
I think that the wisest and (for some)a required dispassionate vote goes for Gingrich.
He was noticeably mentioned by most other candidates for VP. Cain’s nod was practically reverent. Cain isn’t stupid, Gingrich is obsidian sharp.
If Newt is elected president or V.P., I’ll sleep well. Otherwise… not so much.
This can’t be happening.
As much as I like Cain, a primary vote for him is a general election vote for Obama. Cain simply cannot win unless Obama gets caught in bed with a dead girl AND a live boy.
Florida Republicans are on drugs. I’d be slightly less astonished if they picked Perry.
Are we going to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory once again?
Jeeze Louise, can’t Americans approach political issues without the race factor?
Ask yourselves this: Would Herman Cain be a GOP presidential candidate if Hillary Clinton had won the Democrat candidacy in 2008 instead of Obama?
And yes, Hillary is an Alinsky idealogue just as Obama is, although she probably has a more realistic grounding in real politics.
Hillary still would have taken the Keynesian approach to job creation that Obama has.
I have the feeling that, by design, one way…or another, Obama will not be the DNC nominee.
Remember Franklin Pierce.
I think they will throw us the first main stream female nominee. Hillary denies it, but I find her recent closer association with Soros quite telling.
It’s in the works.

Apparently not. But heh, it sure worked for ‘bama.

That’s a really good line. ~:D
But, I still say Barry isn’t going to win the Dem nomination. //phantomsoapbox.blogspot.com/2011/09/toldja.html
Today’s headline on Drudge has Barry saying “Put on your marching shoes!” to a Congressional Black Caucus meeting. He can’t even rally those guys.
Ralph Nader has declared he will challenge Barry from the Left with a slate of candidates, because Barry’s not Commie enough for them. The media is slowly building up a Hillary whispering campaign with fawning puff pieces and contrived polls.
So whoever the Republican nominee is, they won’t be running against Barry. Barry’s a lame duck and doesn’t know it yet. He’s going to run a traditional Chicago-style campaign, but he’s going to have to run it against his own party.
This is my prophecy, anyway. That and a buck fifty will get you a coffee at Timmies. ~:D
If I were an American preparing to vote next year I hope Cain would be the candidate to get my vote. He seems the only one that’s got any idea how to get America out of the stinking mess Obama has put them in.
They are so racist towards Dear Leader that they will vote Hermain Cain just to get rid of him!!
I think we can all observe from the stats ….
When there is a Negro running … all other Negroes will only vote for him.
When there is no Negro running, Negroes will vote for the white person who promises that THEY will not have to get jobs to enjoy life in America.
Caucasians will vote for whomever will take the best care of the American economy, keep taxes low and defend American interests … REGARDLESS OF SKIN.
So … who are the racists?
Last time around Republicans made the enormous mistake of picking John McCain instead of Romney, which gave us Obama I.
Now they are making yet another huge mistake, and are likely going to pick Romney after regretting their previous error. However the best pick in the field this time around is not Romney but Perry, and they are already throwing Perry under the bus. The MSM is participating in the sabotage of Perry because they want it to be an Obama-Romney matchup, which will give us Obama II.
Since the election Romney and Obama have moved closer to each other in terms of their political views. So while a Romney-Obama matchup last time around may have favoured Romney, it certainly will not this time because the two are largely indistinguishable.
To be honest the entire spectacle of what the Republicans are doing is becoming difficult to watch. They seem to be determined to make the same mistakes as last time. If Obama does get a second term the damage to the country will be almost irreversible. (Think Trudeau in Canada for a good example).
Obama in a second term with a Republican Supermajority Congress that passes bills Obama cannot veto … now that would be fun to watch.
Cain is a very standard stock Republican nom: mixed on economic terrible on civil rights. Except he’s also bigoted against Muslims and thinks the government has the right to stop mosques from being built. Why he gets the attention he does I have no idea. This is still a race of losers and will be until either Gary Johnson produces wine from water and wins or Chris Christie enters…or Steve Forbes comes back? Man I wish Forbes had beaten Bush for the nom in 2000. What a different America we’d have today.
Cain vs. Obama in a debate would be great to watch, until it was called. I don’t think the man-child could take it, and would meltdown after the first 5 minutes.
Romney ran against Kennedy in ’94, and had it in the bag until he decided to become Kennedy-lite in the waning weeks. Why doesn’t the man explain what principles will animate a Romney presidency? Why won’t he make promises to the American people regarding a Romney presidency?
Cain, Palin, Christie…any combination
the only thing that scares me about a Cain-bama duel si the gang warfare that will inevitable result when ‘bama’s Black Panther ‘organizers’ decide to get ‘all jiggy wit it’ and I don’t mean that as racist, just as the reality of modern urban politics….
if I could vote in the US, I’d vote for Cain on the basis of this clip alone…
