In Wisconsin, it looks like devout Leftists will stop at nothing when it comes to their “crusade” against Governor Scott Walker. NRO’s Michael Walsh shares his thoughts.
Remember though folks, it’s all “for the children”!
P.S. Perhaps the BCTF is taking strategy notes themselves?!
BC needs a “right to work” law that would allow teachers to decide whether to or not belong to a union.
Yeah those leftards will stop at nothing. They’ve even infiltrated the Tea Party:

Lamest reference ever, Alex!!!
Yeah, I know, eh? Who cares about about a family with a cut gas line when there’s – *gasp* – SUPERGLUE IN THE LOCKS!!!!
Alex:
Superglue done this week. The cut gas line story, judging by the URL, ” *- gasp* ” – MARCH 24, 2 0 1 0 !!!
What side of this thing did you say you supported?

Yeah, I know, eh? Who cares about about a family with a cut gas line when there’s – *gasp* – SUPERGLUE IN THE LOCKS!!!!
A gas line on a propane grill that was…in the Congressman’s screened-in porch. I’ve never known anyone who didn’t lock their screened-in porch. Just saying. But you make it sound like something more serious — why could that be? Got any narrative to reinforce much?
But, like all lefties, you attempt to obfuscate the issue by turning it back on us. Guess what? It isn’t going to work.
I live in Wisconsin and I have watched this insanity unfold for months now. All because the Governor wanted public employees to pay a little more for their retirement (which they paid NOTHING for) and health insurance (which they paid little for). At the end of the day, public employees still have some of THE BEST (and Obamacare exempt!) health insurance in the U.S. and GUARANTEED retirement for the rest of their lives (that can be transferred to a living spouse after the employee dies!)
For months, we’ve dealt with fleebagging Democrats who spent weeks hiding in Illinois like cockroaches exposed to light. We’ve had drum circles, vuvuzelas, and dirty protestors vandalizing our beautiful Capitol building while disrupting the work of government AND threatening to kill our duly and freely elected Republican governor and representatives.
The governor has a bad of merry left-wing psychopaths stalking him wherever he goes. Madison is officially a no-go zone for conservatives unless you travel in large groups because the liberals will get in your face (just as Obama commanded them to do!) and harass you for daring not to be as incredibly stupid as they are.
So blather all you want about one lame report *possibly* (and remotely so) connected to the TEA Party. Those of us paying attention know the violence and the threats and the vandalism come from the left. Those of us paying attention also know the left loves projection: they accuse us of being what they really are.
People are waking up to it. For all their public temper tantrums, for all the out-of-state union agitators they sent in, for the $30 MILLION they spent on recall elections…the left in Wisconsin has won exactly NOTHING.
They didn’t get a majority in the Senate, so the Republicans still run Wisconsin Government. They lost the Supreme Court election in April, and a weak attempt to get the conservative who won thrown off the court for “choking” a fellow justice has been proven to be a lie. The recall movement against Governor Walker is losing steam and — while probably will be attempted — will ultimately fail.
On top of it all, Wisconsin’s government has set our economy on a path to recover at a far better and stronger pace than the nation. So I predict Scott Walker will go on to even bigger and brighter things.
“Superglue done this week. The cut gas line story, judging by the URL, ” *- gasp* ” – MARCH 24, 2 0 1 0 !!!”
Oh, ok. Then I guess that whole September 11th 2001 thing is no big deal at all – it happened AGES ago!
“What side of this thing did you say you supported?”
Neither; I think they’re all acting like a bunch of immature idiots.
Governments should stop collecting union dues. Let the unions collect their own dues. That would put an immediate stop to pretty much all union political activity.
BC Teachers rallying for strike!!!!!
I say fire them all and then then place Employment Opportunities posters out and have any of those teachers have to re-apply for their jobs BUT at a much reduced rate of pay of what they are now getting paid, and do away with all that paid time off for playing hooky and other lame excuses they now have in their collective agreements such as up to 6 days off if their dog dies……common get serious….hire people that want a good career and care about the kids and not just about yourselves…..
Thank you
People, could we not let Trollex take over yet another thread with his stupidity? He’s boring. Pretty soon he’ll be banging on about Santa Claus and invisible friends again.
If you stop feeding him, he will eventually go away.
Fergie, I’d be happy if I wasn’t stuck paying for their retirement. Forever.
Wisconsin is a battleground of very high importance to the labour left. If they lose in WI, OH, PA and even MI might fall next. They are pouring money and effort in as a result.
By the way AmyP, nice post. Right on, girl.
Privatize schools
Way off topic I know, but cast a vote over at http://www.huffingtonpost.ca if you think a permenent memorial should be built in Toronto’s Dundass Square for Jack Layton.
The BCTF is in for a world of hurt. There is no money for anything they want. Period.
The HST defeat, in a campaign heavily supported by the BC NDP and the BC Fed, means there is now a $2B bigger $hole in the Provincial Budget.
I have a contract to do budget planning for an educational authority in BC. This year, we planned two complete budgets – one for the HST in place and one if the province reverts to the PST.
The bottom line is we will layoff 10%-15% of the staff, and cut back about 20% of planned service delivery projects.
The BC Fed is about to be the first recipient of the their own stupidity.
The time for Budget Justice to reign over Social Justice has arrived.
Just spent the last day touring through Wis….
Noticed a couple of bumper stickers for the defunct impeachment campaign.
Other stickers on these vehicles seemed to be union crap and there was an Obama 88 sticker.
Dregs of the dying lefty sector…………..
Phantom @ 8:57, exactly.
Amy P, good for you.
“She (Lambert) said Premier Christy Clark has not shown a willingness to invest in education.” The word ‘invest’ when used by a union always means we want more money for ourselves. It has nothing to do with the children or improving the educational system or when the nurse’s unions say ‘investing in health’, improving access to or the quality of health care.
As far as the BCTF is concerned, there is a bottomless pot of money for them to dig in to.
And now they are being told by the unions to not do their jobs? I keep thinking air traffic controllers.
The education system in British Columbia and elsewhere needs to move to a purely voucher-based system.
You get a voucher for each kid you have, and you can take it to any school, public or private you want.
Second, the government needs to actively support home-schooling, rather than treating home-schooling as a fringe idea.
With these two items in place, the problem of education will be solved.
Once again the left proves that they HATE black kids.
Heh. I’ll bet you think Cognitive Dissonance is some kind of alternate rock band, don’t you?
As a product of the BC school public system, I support school vouchers in conjunction with right to work legislation. Without union busting, private schools become corrupted in short order too.
The current system is a swamp. Move to higher ground.
What Amy said!
–
Still waiting for the Mafia to eliminate most of the Union bosses that spent 30 million union dues for nothing.
They don’t appreciate offers that can be refused…
I’ll bet you think Cognitive Dissonance is some kind of alternate rock band, don’t you?
Nuh uh!
Everyone knows they’re a bebop jazz ensemble.
Stop feeding the damned troll!
You go, Amy.
There’s nothing like the truth from somebody living in the reality.
On the B.C. issue:
Alberta’s education funding has followed the student for a long time now on the theory that education is for the benefit of the student.
That allowed us to home-school our soon-to-be 21-year-old son through his junior high years.
And, bonus to the taxpayers of Alberta, we did not use all the funding allotted to him.
I would recommend student-based funding for all jurisdictions, if for nothing else than to make irrelevant the public school monopolies and its blood-sucking union leadership.
The Education Ministry has previously said it has no new money to offer teachers, sticking to its zero-increase mandate across the public sector.
[SNIP]
She[Lambert] said Premier Christy Clark has not shown a willingness to invest in education.
“This premier built into her budget this year a billion-dollar contingency fund, a billion-dollar slush fund,” said Lambert Sunday.
Yeah well since the HST vote, that $Billion is now earmarked to be returned to the Federal government.
If the Clark regime caves to the BCTF then they are going to have to cave to all the PSUs when they come demanding more, and they will come demanding more because it’s what they exist to do.
The Unions are in decline. They have no one to blame but themselves. Even Members now know that their own leaders will sell them out for political fads. Unions are not local anymore but political machines. Union brass are just cheap suite Political call boys. Muscle for hire.
Their allliance to a politician more important than the jobs of the folks they are supposed to represent.
This is what is going to sink them.
JMO
Right to work!
Right to Work!
Right to WORK!
…and make them collect their own damn dues.
Baby Jesus would not have superglued the locks to prevent all the black kids from learning something.
That’s true. He would have nailed them shut!
Yep, once he pulled the nails out of his hands.
Dumbo.
Oh, hey, wow, I never thought of that! You’re SMART!!
Stop. Feeding. Trollex.
Common Alex,
Cute little babies all pink and goofy looking aren’t racist hate mongers like the liberal left. For one they don’t get to play with nails unless they live in a US ghetto created by the genocidal liberal welfare system. Only unionized Liberal retards like these ones would march outside of a school scaring little black kids, attempting to demoralize a teaching lesson to the kids by a state leader AND cry about the lack of public education in the same breath.
Weird, if not bat-sh!t crazy.
I see you still haven’t worked out that cognitive dissonance issue 🙂 You sound almost as insane as your boyfriend “phantom”.
Alex >
“Insane”
Heh heh heh, you need to look that definition yourself, then ponder how it relates to you and the results of your daily postings on SDA. 🙂
Alex >
BTW – why aren’t you at the Layton funeral today, laying on the floor below the casket like that little marine puppy was the other day?
Fine, feed him then. But you have to clean up the troll cr@p too.
The Phantom >
Just bored and piss’n around, finished washing bike and cleaning guns this morning.
Alex can be used like any useful idiot to get the message you want out, if you jerk him around for awhile. Otherwise many issues seem awkward or out of place to bring up at certain times. I find it brilliant good fun when you can springboard off his back on issue that makes the Liberal skin crawl & have Alex unwittingly set the stage. Just say’n.
Knight99 you heartless thing you. Carry on! 🙂
“BTW – why aren’t you at the Layton funeral today, laying on the floor below the casket like that little marine puppy was the other day?”
See, like I said: insane 🙂 Why in the world would I want to go to your heroes funeral?
Alex >
If not Layton then who, the unionized lefties abusing the little black kids in the video?
You rushed to their aid like a Monty Python champion defending their cause and condoning the fact that they wanted to stop their elected state representative from teaching and giving the little black kids some real “Hope & Change” personally through leadership, a hands on example.
I suppose the guy is no good because he’s not selling them crack, telling them they deserve no fathers around and getting them worked up into a flash mob?
“You rushed to their aid like a Monty Python champion defending their cause”
A Monty Python champion? Huh?
Why do I get the feeling you’re thinking of Don Quixote?
Either way, I didn’t rush to anyone’s defense; I simply detest hypocrites. I don’t expect you to understand the difference, though. You’re one of those with-us-or-against-us twits.
Alex >
Nope, Monty Python

Awesome. Post a video which doesn’t come close to matching what you said. Well done. Are you hallucinating?
