  1. While it is difficult not to agree with Breivik’s opinions….condoning his execution/actions is……….difficult.

  2. “….condoning his execution/actions is……….difficult”
how would civil war around here strike you????

  3. Excellent video….now who is more guilty…the muslim extremists or their enablers like the main stream media and the politicians. Sounds like Vichy French to me and we know what happened to them when the Nazis started losing the war.

  4. how would civil war around here strike you????

No one wants a civil war. Its the uglist type of war. Besides we still have a system we can change.
n the US that becomes less probable by the day as Obama shreds the Constitution for his own ego& political dogma. Typical collectivist thinking.

  5. How Bervik expected the MSM to open the dialogue and not jump on the “right wing, conservative, Christian conspiracy,” storeyline is his madness. But that will not keep him out of jail.
It is really hard to say this because it means he is getting what he wanted, but I hope that this opens the door a little bit for dialogue without blame.
We need this in our economic debates and our political debates. We need something or someone to become a unifying force and I don’t see great masses lining up behind the multiculturalist, spread the wealth, philosopher kings. America is a country that had 3 violent revolutions to bring its people together around a common meme.
I fear that there is another in the offing.
    Who is John Galt?

  6. Nicely done video. Especially with the so called “straw man” fake news guy …. who then then contrasted with real news guys saying the same thing more elegantly.

  7. rroe at 2:06 PM, that should be “extreme right wing Christian fundamentalist conspiracy”. Clean up your act, Nazi!! /snark

  8. Liberal Media is strangly silent on the fact that he was a habitual drug user, a stoner high on uppers and such. Gee a stoner committing mass murder, who’d of thunk it.

  9. This David Wood guy (in the video) has his own blog. He answers the “Was Breivik a Christian?” question here: http://tinyurl.com/3u699ry
GYM at 1:56 PM, I don’t see civil war on the horizon here in North America — yet. But Europe, perhaps. One of the conclusions I’ve drawn from the Norway incident is that Breivik could and likely will become something of a cult hero who could easily be the symbol around which a movement coalesces.

  10. “GYM at 1:56 PM, I don’t see civil war on the horizon here in North America — ”
and I see CHANGE running away over the horizon, someone better go catch it before it’s too late
our so called “conservatives” are just pinko light

  11. I watched the video to the very end. I’m a nazi!
While I’m always fearful of counter-productive defensiveness, this was very well done: light, deft, ironic. If you’re going to defend yourself against these moronic over-the-top smears, you must not get angry, you must not SHOUT. This clearly is one problem the otherwise estimable Pamela Geller has. Even my hero Caroline Glick loses it in TV debates when she goes into full exasperation mode.
On the other hand, Spencer is always super-calm, super cool. I’ve never seen him raise his voice in anger. He’s always got the facts, the cincher argument.
It never fails: when I listen to those MSM drones like Anderson Cooper scoping out a patently false pravda-narrative, my mind is cast back to Uncle Walter’s sign-off: “And that’s the Way it Is.” Because, with the internet/blog revolution we now know it WASN’T. By a long shot.
Esp. effective was the long list of notables Breivik mentioned in his manifesto.
YES, the brutal repression of self expression created this monster.

  12. Regardless of how the left media wishes to portray or spin anti Islamic feelings and point fingers, it will never change the fact that massive importation of Islam will lead to violence on western streets.
Ignoring the realities, censoring truths and spinning words will never overcome the clash of two major and opposing cultures pushed together on the indigenous soils of one. This is the way of the world that has always been and will continue forever, until at least one of those cultures dominates completely. There will be massive bloodshed and violence to reach that point from either side until it is settled.
This is the anarchy that the left has condemned western nations too. Riots and violence will continue to escalate over coming years as Muslim populations grow and western civilization begins to fight back the encroachment. The riots in London yesterday were simply the beginning for them as they achieve Muslim immigration levels comparable to France, Amsterdam and other mainland European countries.
Individual indigenous “crazy” people at first will snap dependant on their tolerance levels, like this guy in Norway. As the Muslim encroachments continue to grow, and Muslim crime rates soar, more and more indigenous crazies will come out of the woodworks as new tolerance levels are reached. Eventually if the violence becomes common place, these guys stop becoming crazy and start becoming mainstream movements. This is all bad for the rest of us, as we have foreseeable lost our nations needlessly. Again it’s the way of the world (you don’t pen leopards and lions in the same cage).

  13. Thanks Kate, that was very well done – I learned much.
It can be argued that the surest way to create radicals is to suppress the public expression of opinion. This is certainly at the root of the Muslim Brotherhood’s radical rise and its offspring Hamas, al quaeda et al. It seems that it is what pushed breivik over the edge into extreme/insane violence.
One of the questions going forward is:
“Will the doubling down in attempts to suppress public expressions of criticism of immigration and dealings with radical elements within islam and islam in general cause even more radicalization of the likes of breivik?”
If so, then in some ways breveik may come to be seen as prophetic.
I think he will be proven to be massively wrong – that in time soceities will push back and ultimately rout those that breivik was resisting using peaceful means – that his violence was unnecessary and counterproductive. There are manifold sign that it is already happening – witness the growing popularity and prominence of people like Mark Steyn as just one example.

  14. If anyone thinks that there is not going to be major unrest in Europe…you are dreaming. Who was the genius who decided that Muslim immigration into Western society would work. We have been fighting them since biblical times. Do we really think it’s going to get any better….We should get our heads out of the sand and do something about this crisis. Let me get this straight….Muslims say in their unholy book that they should kill Christians, beat women, have sex with children and we wonder why we are having troubles with these people…
It is true what they say in Revelations…the devil will be among us and they won’t be able to see him…..we so deserve what we get. I dont care about all these left wing liberals bite the bullet but I do care about the real people.

  15. Knight 99 at 3:07 PM: “He also quotes Ghandi – oops (not supposed to mention that of course).”
    ===============
Shouldn’t that be “extreme right wing fundamentalist Hindu Ghandi”? Look. We’ve gotta get our messaging coordinated and consistent.

  16. I can’t wait for the trial – truth will be out & the left won’t like it. Typical.

  17. Breivik is a gift to the left who will gladly ignore that he- an adult- is ultimately responsible for what he did. Valid points of the failure of political multiculturalism or illegal immigration are still valid no matter who makes them, even a whacko like Breivik. Ignore as the left may the mentions of Naomi Klein and George Orwell, the “manifesto” is a mish-mash of stuff. The same press that would pour over Sarah Palin’s e-mails would never read Breivik’s “manifesto”, the Bible or the Koran. And dead bodies are always good news to the Media Party.

  18. // Islamophobia: The fear of offending Muslims because they are prone to violence. //
    +
    Read the Breivik quote
.”be allowed to raise important social issues without stigmatization or ridicule” [OR I kill]
HE wants the freedom not to be offended. [& is undeniably prone to violence]

  19. MikeL: ” … who decided that Muslim immigration into Western society would work. We have been fighting them since biblical times.”
Yeah, well, Mike, the Bible’s sorta gone outta style in the West, so folks in countries whose political, judicial, educational, and health-care systems are based on Judeo-Christian principles don’t have a clue that Christianity has been a counter-balancing and a winning force against militant Islam.
    Bye, bye, Christianity. Hello, Islam.
    Who’s crazier? Them or us?

  20. Maybe we can go back and rewrite the Crusades History. The Muslims came out of the East and were slaughtering people who did not convert. Most of these conversions took place at sword point. Villages were raided and people were sold into slavery in the Arab Markets. Charitable societies were formed to buy people back their freedom. For some reason people wanted to keep them away from their homelands and take back what was lost.
The Inquizition was an attempt to root out Muslims posing as Catholics so they could get into positions of power. How things start and how they end are often two different things.
It’s been easy to look back and condemn from our safe 20th to 21st centuries. Welcome back to the Middle Ages, Muslim extremists are already there.

  21. “Who was the genius who decided that Muslim immigration into Western society would work. We have been fighting them since ”
I betcha it was a capitalist that convinced the powers-that-be an open door policy would be great for the bottom line given the low, low, low wages paid to the grateful 21st century serfs.
hey mr euro-industrialist, be careful what you wish for.

  22. Bam Bam,
“betcha it was a capitalist that convinced the powers-that-be an open door policy”
You betcha, all those dumb greedy capitalists figured out that millions of Muslims on social assistance and low income jobs, buying burka’s and kuskus would set the nations economies on fire.
    I don’t think so.

  23. I watched the whole thing: I guess that makes me a you-know-what: what an unexpected hoot!
It took me a while to find out that the very clever guy—and his alter ego—who made this video is someone called David Wood. Then I tried to find out who David Wood is . . .
Could someone here please fill me in on who this very impressive fellow is? Thanks.

  24. lookout, David Wood, apparently, is a Christian apologist and former atheist. Go to this debate — “Anjem Choudary vs. David Wood: Would Sharia Help the West?” — on YouTube:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_TKTxDmuWA
In the introduction of David Wood in the first few minutes of the video, the moderator explains who he is. It’s obviously a few years ago, because David is looking younger and slighter!

  25. ‘Found out a little bit more. David Wood is involved with a group called Acts 17 Apologetics Ministries (www.AnsweringMuslims.com) out of Dearborn, Michigan.
He’s, apparently, been studying Islam since 1994. He seems to know his stuff.

  26. @batb
Study any enemy and you will find some similarities.
I’m not saying that David Wood is an enemy but, as a small c conservative, I have have agreed with Liberals and the NDP on certain issues. Davids observations in my mind are objective and rational regardless of any thing else he might be attached to.

  27. David Wood is great, but there are (or were) those who know islam just as well on this blog.
It’s just that the moles who attached themselves to Kate and now control this blog never give up trying to shut us up.
    This blog is dead.

  28. coming soon to a park near you….probably in Torontostan…
(AFP) — Iranian police arrested 17 boys and girls over a water fight at a seaside park in the Islamic republic’s south, a senior judicial official said on Sunday.
“Seventeen young boys and girls who were squirting water at each other were arrested on Friday in one of the beach parks” in the city of Bandar Abbas, Homozgan province’s justice chief Ali Alia said, quoted by ISNA news agency.
“Five were immediately let go,” he said, adding the rest were released on bail on Sunday but could face sentences for publicly committing an “act forbidden” (haram) by Islam as well as “insulting police officers”.
On July 29, several hundred youths took part in a large-scale water battle using guns and empty bottles at Ab-o-Atash (Water and Fire) park in central Tehran, after organising the event on Facebook and through text messages.
Ten of them were arrested as photos of the event emerged on social networking websites and eventually made their way into the media, but were released Saturday on bail, Shargh newspaper reported Sunday.
Officials and conservative media denounced the event in which, according to circulated photos, soaked boys and girls — some with their mandatory hijabs askew — attacked each other with water pistols in heat-weary Tehran.

  29. That was well done, but I would have far preferred to read it in text form than spending 18 minutes listening to it (I did do other stuff at the time but it’s still a long time for the amount of information imparted). This seems to be an annoying trend of people speaking on video when well written prose is far faster to read.
I haven’t had the time recently to go back to Breivik’s manifesto as just too busy at the hospital. What Breivik was completely correct about is that an act like his would get the attention of the world and of course the MSM would blame the usual suspects and totally ignore the 2000 lb islamic elephant in the middle of the room. What Breivik has also done is to get a lot of people to read his manifesto and he’s had the best free publicity one can get.
By shutting off discussion on the topic of radical islam and the destructive effects of islamic immigration, western governments have just ensured that those who are outraged by this preferential treatment of a depraved religion start plotting against the governments. The response of western governments after September 2001 clearly demonstrated that they don’t trust the people at all and freedom in N. America and much of the world ended after 11-September.
I remember when we learned in elementary school about how the oppressed people of the USSR needed travel passports to go from one city to another and how we didn’t need this as free Canadians. Now to board an airplane to fly from one city to another in Canada I’ve had idiot ticket agents demand a passport and gotten a blank look when I mention the USSR travel passports. The piece of identification which I use which seems to make some of them uneasy is my FAC (or whatever it’s called these days).
Everyone has their individual breaking point after which they will strike out at the statists. This is the one advantage that the US government has against the pro-constitution forces in the US; there’s considerable disagreement on the pro-constitution side of when is the proper time to shoot the bastards. I’d prefer to avoid a civil war if possible as this would likely get very ugly. Unfortunately that’s the way things seem to be heading at the moment. A few more attacks by people like Breivik may result in a degree of totalitarianism coming down that will necessitate an armed response against the government.

“lookout, David Wood, apparently, is a Christian apologist and former atheist. Go to this debate — “Anjem Choudary vs. David Wood: Would Sharia Help the West?” — on YouTube:”
Considering the topic, don’t you think the tone of your comment is a tad hypocritical?

  31. Am presently reading Michael Coren’s “Why Catholics are Right” (Okay, okay, we won’t get into that!) and he gives a pretty good history of age old interactions between Christendom and Islam going back to the Crusades and before. Europe very nearly became Muslim a 1,000 years ago. The threat is still here.

  32. Just because a nutjob believes it doesn’t make it wrong. Charles Manson believes 2+2=4. Guess what? 2+2 does equal 4!

  33. Charles Manson believes 2+2=4. Guess what? 2+2 does equal 4!
    ~Norm
    Sure.
But that ignores the fact that what Charles Manson means when he says 4, isn’t same as what I mean by 4.

  34. Scott: ” … don’t you think the tone of your comment is a tad hypocritical?”
    No.

  35. Who was the genius who decided that Muslim immigration into Western society would work. ?
Its all about dilution of a homogeneous voting block.

  36. loki writes about David Woods’s video: “That was well done, but I would have far preferred to read it in text form than spending 18 minutes listening to it . . . This seems to be an annoying trend of people speaking on video when well written prose is far faster to read.”
I altogether agree! If I find that a link is video rather than text, I often skip it.
That said, I enjoyed seeing David Wood, as well as his little acting and story reading stints. They punctuated this story the way text couldn’t. But still, loki, I generally agree with you!

  37. If Anders Breitvik were a 60s vintage anti-US, anti-capitalism mass murderer, he would probably be seen today as somewhat a hero to the present occupier of the White House. But as a mass murderer with high intelligence and perception attempting to justify his politically incorrect stance he is seen by most everyone as a true villain. I would hypothesize that he has just broken the ice in terms of violent European backlash against Islamic mass immigration. Civil wars in Europe are as inevitable as the financial readjustments that will follow from the currency repatriation from the Euro in the Southern nations.
What likely troubles most is that at what point does one seriously consider breaching the threshold of violence in fighting for their cause. Somewhere between the American revolution which by today’s standards of despotism warranting revolt as fairly benign and the Jew passively being led to the gas chamber or Gulag at the other extreme, most everyone would consider fighting for freedom on the violent side of the threshold. Breitvik’s threshold was arguably within that continuum but his tactics of mass murder and the cowardice of surrender into a regime known for sentencing leniency makes him ineligible as a recipient of rational sympathy.
The appendage of the left known as the media is effectively put down by this video but the fact that it is on YouTube and not the mainstream outlets severely limits its exposure.

  38. Sadly, only a Revolution will stop the Cultural Marxists from destroying Canada.
With all due respect to the people living in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, I do NOT want YOUR CULTURE to take over Canada’s.
    Sorry.
Japan, South Korea, China and other countries are not RACIST because they want to keep their own culture the majority culture.
Canadians have been brainwashed through Marxist grade school, high school and University to tow the Marxist line.
Then, before SunNews, all of our media agents were Cultural Marxists.
Think about it. Is there ONE institution in Canada that is not controlled by Marxists.
Harper is a Marxist, so we can from there.

  39. “Harper is a Marxist”. Is there a prize for Lunacy of the Week, because we have a winner!
