For …reporters looking for more details, Palin isn’t providing them. Palin’s staff has been unresponsive to reporters’ requests or told them to check the SarahPAC website, which updates with information only after she’s stopped somewhere.
The confusing nature of the trip – which was planned by two advance aides recently hired by Palin – played out at a coffee shop this morning, where Palin stopped to shake hands with locals in what looked to reporters like the very definition of a campaign-style photo-opportunity. Multiple people showed up at the event saying they were there because they wanted to see history –but they wouldn’t say where they had come from or how they had heard about the event.
“I just want to say that I’m witnessing history happening,” one woman said – three times. She wouldn’t give her name.
More at Drudge.

How do you house train a crappy cur?
Witnessing history is easy, as long as you can remember it, or is that just hear-say, later on.
Why should she give the MSM her itinerary?
Let the irrelevant msm reporters get out from behind their computers and go find the news.
Crate training works very nicely, mojo.

Why should she give the MSM her itinerary?
So that Democrat astroturf rent-a-mobs can show up at her stops, natch.
Works for Harper . . he treats the PPG/MSM like they are something left in the bottom of a birdcage.
Works for him, it can work for Sarah.
Dennis Miller was killing himself laughing about all of this on his show today. Killing himself laughing at the Media Party and how this will drive them all NUTS!
Stephen Harper was one of the first on the right who realized that the members of the Media Party were not his friend and out to destroy him. Palin has realized this too.
In this modern world, when the Media Party is increasingly irrelevant, why play along with their rules? Because the ghosts of Dan Rather and Katie Couric said so?!
One poster mentioned that Mrs. Palin should rent another decoy bus just to send the media over the edge.
Better yet,she should hire Tina Fey to give a few speeches, perhaps have her speak on how easily the media is misled.
“How do you house train a crappy cur?”
I bet your mom knows.
You betcha!…looks like Palin took lessons from Harper, and Kate…that part about yelling at the radio…
Speaking of crappy cur, here’s Don Martin in training:

Ugh. Palin for all her “virtues” with the right, is absolutely unelectable. Staying on her bandwagon prolongs Obama’s chances for a 2nd term, and that is the last thing the US needs.
“Ugh. Palin for all her “virtues” with the right, is absolutely unelectable.”
Umm, doesn’t really matter actually if she is unelectable or not. In ‘normal’ times it might, but these are not normal times. This is a pivot point in a line of historical development and the object is not to ‘win’ some meaningless minor battle, in this case the Presidency in 2012, because whoever wins will still be locked into the old paradigm and will fail. The system is still struggling to survive in its current form and will resist all attempts to reform it, until it is almost at death’s door. MASSIVE change is going to happen at some point and the object is to be at the head of that change when it finally becomes apparent. Obama cannot be beaten in 2012 by any of the Republican candidates because none of them have the solutions to the structural problems. Lower taxes is ALL they ever talk about and that has failed too.
I’m not sure that Palin understands the issue any more than the others but she, as the permanent outsider, has the best chance to grasp what is happening and address it. I’m not sure she will but every policy announcement she makes is imao pretty much on the money. From endorsing Ryan’s plan for radical review to her latest on the necessity to end energy subsidies because the US CAN’T AFFORD THEM.
I hope she continues to do exactly what she wants and soes not worry at all about being elected. Elected to do nothing is not a goal in life.
D_abes, you forgot to start off with “I’m a Concerned Christian Conservative (TM) but…”
Remember this?
ABC: Why must Sarah Palin insert herself into this story by defending herself against charges of inspiring murder?
http://hotair.com/archives/2011/01/12/abc-why-must-sarah-palin-insert-herself-into-this-story-by-defending-herself-against-charges-of-inspiring-murder/
Never mind that she never did this.
Palin, for all practical purposes is a private citizen. She can do and say what ever she wants; “journalists” has no claim of a priory.
It is really comical to watch the media and assorted journolisters to complain about Palins private and public doings. After all, Palin is in fact private citizen and can do and go as she pleases without announcements to the press, so as not to insert herself into a story.
Being a “journalist” really sucks, don’it (sic)?
“Never mind that she never did this. ”
Should be “never inserted herself into anything”.
The media twits are getting what they deserve … to be ignored. Palin is right, she owes them nothing and they owe her a mega ton of apology for how they have treated her over the years.
I love that she has the balls to be herself and not buckle to pressures of the elites.
I would vote for her in a minute. She could wipe the floor with Amadinner Jacket. Obama is a sophomoric fool compared to Sarah. And Sarah knows who are friends in the middle east are …. and live in Israel.
I hope she doesn’t run for president. I don’t want to see Obama reelected.
Like Kate says “Pleasing your enemies does not turn them into friends”.
Robert is right, Palin, nor PM Harper, should not cater to the Media Party.
Gotta say that the first Western politician who treated the MSM like something stuck in the pan after a flush was our own Dearly Beloved — Greatest Canadian Ever — PET.
It worked for him.
“The media twits are getting what they deserve … to be ignored. Palin is right, she owes them nothing and they owe her a mega ton of apology for how they have treated her over the years.”
Couldn’t agree more,Abe. The MSM’s treatment of a politician they didn’t like,Palin, has bordered on deranged!
BUT,I don’t think she’s electable,either.
As a high school kid then as a young man in the 80’s I remember the pundits and my university profs denigrating Reagan. I remember that they all considered him an idiot, too obtuse to understand the nuances required of the presidency and they all opined that he was totally out of his league with respect to diplomacy. I graduated from university in 1989. I would have loved to see these professors’ faces when the Berlin Wall came down and Mr. Gorbachev gave up.
The attitude towards Sarah Palin exhibited by the MSM, the political elites and some of the comments here sound exactly like the stuff they said about Reagan. Funny enough, the geo-strategic/domestic situation seems eerily familiar (high gas prices, Western societies including the US demoralized and polarized, the Middle East a powder keg, lots of problems emanating from Iran, a really crappy US president running the show…) Deja vu
favill
With regards to the “Palin bus.
It adds up to a dangerous situation, says CBS News Producer Ryan Corsaro.
“I just hope to God that one of these young producers with a camera whose bosses are making them follow Sarah Palin as a potential Republican candidate don’t get in a car crash, because this is dangerous,” he said.”
Ok, so Palin is a dangerous threat to the well being of the media. I get it…
Yup Alex and D_abes are right, Reagan’s totally unelectable, especially against a realist like Carter. No way a “populist” could win. Not even worth trying. All the smart people say so, and they must be smart because they agree with me.
On a side note, can anyone suggest how to get my tongue un-stuck from my cheek?
Oh and Oz, spot on…
Why should she give the MSM her itinerary? So that Democrat astroturf rent-a-mobs can show up at her stops, natch.
Once bitten twice shy as they say.
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/world/konrad-yakabuski/sarah-palin-mystique-finds-new-life/article2040587/
American Slime stream media hates her guts no matter what she does or if she bows to her media betters, good for her for shunning those sleeze buckets of puss.
It adds up to a dangerous situation, says CBS News Producer Ryan Corsaro.
“I just hope to God that one of these young producers with a camera whose bosses are making them follow Sarah Palin as a potential Republican candidate don’t get in a car crash, because this is dangerous,” he said.
Yeah. You and your kind spend years trashing Palin, accuse her of being responsible for murders committed by some lunatic who as far as anyone knows might never have been aware she existed, get annoyed cause she won’t play along, and now she’s responsible if one of the dorks you send along to follow her at her dis-invitation is a bad driver.
Well not having her schedule shouldn’t make any difference as she is a dummy, unelectable and dangerous. Wonder when they are going to find that in bambam’s appointees? Goodness knows there is more than one that fits that description in places of power.
Nope, she is not news and that is why we act like children not invited to a birthday party. I’ll bet they will re-pay with less than glowing reports for the first time ever in her history.
Oz is exactly right on this. It’s to prevent rent-a-mobs from showing up to “make” news.
In the prologue of The Persecution of Sarah Palin: How the Elite Media Tried to Bring Down a Rising Star, the author includes a very powerful quote said a full year before Sarah Palin came on the national scene:
“Today’s media, more than ever before, hunts in a pack. In these modes it is like a feral beast, just tearing people and reputations to bits. But no one dares miss out.”–Tony Blair, June 12, 2007.
Continetti then goes on to show how this “feral beast” of the media hunted down its new prey: Sarah Palin. He does an excellent job of documenting and debunking the lies and smears the media perpetrated against her.
Palin supporters will most likely recognize the top lies such as: Trig not being her son, her banning books, being a Buchanan supporter, or a member of the Alaskan Independence Party, and others. What may surprise and shock them (and any fair minded person) is WHO published the lies! While many may have started on extreme liberal blog sites, by hate-fueled individuals, the real tragedy is that they were introduced to main stream Americans by powerful news outlets and journalists that many Americans, including myself, trusted.
Reviews:
“Matthew Continetti has written a touch, revealing look at how the bias or habits of liberals in the media led them to assault a political figure who shared neither their values nor background. Whether you like Sarah Palin or not, this well-researched and meticulous volume strips the bark off influential players in journalism.”
-Karl Rove, former deputy chief of staff and senior advisor to President George W. Bush
“A compelling account of journalistic malpractice on a grand scale. Those called out in the book should not be allowed to forget what they did.”
-Brit Hume, senior political analyst, Fox News
“What set off the media feeding frenzy over Sarah Palin’s place on the 2008 Republican presidential ticket? Was there something wrong with Palin? Or something wrong with the media? In The Persecution of Sarah Palin, Matthew Continetti finds the answer-and exposes the media’s worst excesses.”
-Byron York, chief political correspondent, The Washington Examiner
“If every member of the anti-Palin media was simply forced to read and understand just the first page of this book, what is left of journalism in this country would be greatly improved. If every voter had done so prior to the election, we might have a different president right now.”
-John Ziegler, creator of the film Media Malpractice
“During the 2008 campaign the ‘mainstream media’ wrote a narrative about Sarah Palin that had very little to do with the facts. Now Matthew Continetti, who told us the truth about the Republican machine in The K Street Gang, tells us the truth about how Palin was chosen by John McCain and how so many in the press set out to destroy her.”
-Michael Barone, resident fellow, American Enterprise Institute; coauthor, The Almanac of American Politics
“Matt Continetti has not only written a great book about Sarah Palin, he has also written a classic study of the modern political press, complete with the good, the bad, and the very, very ugly. This book should be required reading for political journalists.”
-Yuval Levin, editor, National Affairs
Kevster – the voting on the comments is illuminating.
Sarah vs. Obama in a debate. I wouldn’t think that would be fair. The fragile man child would not hold up well to those razor sharp Palin phrases that describe things in a nutshell, and he couldn’t even hide behind the teleprompter. Yeah, Palin is the one who is unelectable. This election is already over.
I seem to remember hearing that there would be no way that Stephen Harper would ever get a majority.
‘Yup Alex and D_abes are right, Reagan’s totally unelectable, especially against a realist like Carter. No way a “populist” could win.’
For palin to be a populist, she’d have to be … you know … “popular”. She might be the current darling of the far right, but the left and the centrist see her as the retarded bastard child of George Bush and Ron Paul. It doesn’t matter if she manages to get 100% of the far-right vote, she’ll crash and burn because nobody else will vote for her. If you want Obama to be reelected, your best bet is to push as hard as you can for Palin to be the republican candidate.
Also, I don’t appreciate you insulting Regan with such comparisons.
I hope that the Democrats don’t have any second thoughts about running Obama for re-election in 2012. Why would we want to run against a fresh face? In Obama we have a candidate with a record that includes:
20% under/unemployment.
$4.00 – $5.00 gasoline.
Skyrocketing food prices.
Dropping home prices with record number of people underwater in their mortgages.
Skyrocketing deficits measured in trillions, not billions.
ObamaCare that most people hate.
Promises of higher taxes.
Medicare going bankrupt.
Social security going bankrupt.
This is a president who can’t run on his record.
Who wants another 4 years of what we have just gone through?
{thanks Kate]
I can’t wait for the Hope More and Change More because bambam sure can’t run on his record.
He leaves the country to get a rise in the polls. Can’t remember what year it is, security detail doesn’t plan the route and embarasses himself in front of the Queen and the world.
It just isn’t like affirmative action at Harvard at all. Real jobs have problems that have to be solved.
When Sarah Palin wakes up in the morning, she’s Sarah Palin, game-changer, kingmaker and someone who can rock a pair of boots. When a member of the Media Party wakes up, nothing.
How it must chap them that Sarah Palin is treating them like persona non grata. I’m glad she is giving them the cold shoulder.
I know this is going to sound petty, but as long as Sarah Palin improves her elocution she stands a reasonable chance of getting elected.
The screeching voice of her’s has to go, or her chances are close to zero.
Very glad that she is sticking it to the media.
She might be the current darling of the far right, but the left and the centrist see her as the retarded bastard child of George Bush and Ron Paul.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
This is by far the most stupid comment – ever – on SDA.
“This is by far the most stupid comment – ever – on SDA.”
Yes, it is.
Sarah Palin has p0wn3d these media deadbeats since she wrote “Hi Mom!” on her hand. Making them run around after the bus is sheer evil genius.
I mean, you just can’t buy quotes like this:
“It adds up to a dangerous situation, says CBS News Producer Ryan Corsaro.
“I just hope to God that one of these young producers with a camera whose bosses are making them follow Sarah Palin as a potential Republican candidate don’t get in a car crash, because this is dangerous,” he said.
Corsaro asked a member of Palin’s team if he thought it was dangerous to have reporters forced to chase her from stop to stop. “You’re the ones that are trailing us,” he replied. ”
BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
This Palin bus thing is almost as perfect as the new Chairwoman of the DNC saying Republicans want to make illegal immigration a crime. No really, she said it on TV! And they say Sarah Palin is a moron! Bwahaha!
http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/new-dnc-chair-faults-gop-wanting-illegal
Man, you just can’t make up stuff this awesome!

It’s interesting when (for the 100th time) reporters shout out, “Why are you traveling to historical sites? What are you trying to accomplish?” I repeat my answer, “It’s so important for Americans to learn about our past so we can clearly see our way forward in challenging times; so, we’re bringing attention to our great nation’s foundation.” When that answer isn’t what the reporters want to hear, we’ve asked them if they’ve ever visited these sites like the National Archives, Gettysburg, etc. When they confirm that they haven’t, it’s good to say, “Well, there you go. You’ll learn a lot about America today.” (They usually don’t want to hear that either!)

Schadenfreude …. the breakfast of champions.
You know what Obama and you guys both want? For the GOP to nominate Palin because that is the fast track to Obama’s 2nd term. Then again, she’s hardly worse than the other losers running for GOP nominee. She at least called for the end to all energy subsidies in contrast to Mitt “loves ethanol” Romney. Still, she was a crappy governor who oversaw a large increase in state spending. Unfortunately, that last point will likely be overlooked by the Palin lovecrowd where substantial criticism of Palin = “elitism”.
Sarah talks to Greta re. foreign and domestic issues in a great “on the bus” interview. She hammers out a lot of stuff here.(sans gloves)
Via Conservatives 4 Palin
http://conservatives4palin.com/2011/05/governor-palin-talks-to-great-aboard-the-bus.html
I love this gal, she is willing to stand up to these media jackals. Every time they’ve tangled with her since the ’08 election she’s come out on top. I watched Some Greta tonight, and even she asked that stupid worn out question about ‘fire in the belly’ what the hell does that mean anyhow? are you arrogant enough to run? Are you so selfish that you want the presidency for yourself? Another empty question. Honestly I don’t think Sara Palin will run, I think she’s playing decoy to be honest. If she did run, against conventional wisdom, she may well win. She inspires the conservative base. The media keeps on about independants, and how they win you elections. This is a fallacy, true independants often don’t turn up, and after having been involved in political operations, the game is to get your constituency to turn up. Sara Palin could do it.
“You know what Obama and you guys both want? For the GOP to nominate Palin because that is the fast track to Obama’s 2nd term”
I don’t think so, jug head couldn’t wipe his azz without a teleprompter and Americans are getting wise to him, but keep those rose colored glasses on, I’ll bet you thought that PM Harper was getting a minority again…poor li’l fella
Given that he barely got an increase in the vote share, Harper would have a minority now if voters hadn’t catched NDPitis and gone crazy. Obama sucks, and the people don’t like him, and conservatives all thought they had it in the bag against Clinton in 1996. Then they Doled it. They’re about to do it again.
