  3. I think what we are seeing here is the death of the Liberals and the rebirth on the NDP. We are about to go through what the US is going through. Politics will be polarized. On one hand you will have government unions and race baiters and on the other hand working people and businesses. The takers vs the makers. There is no squishy middle ground for the Liberals to occupy anymore. There is no money left for them to squander.

  6. I was in Toronto’s Chinatown this afternoon and saw more Conservative signs in the business windows than Olivia Chow’s.
    I’m hoping Chinatown’s business leaders are on the CPC side now because of the Tories supporting the business owner in the incident with the returned shoplifter being held by the owner until the cops arrived to arrest the shoplifter and went after the owner too.
    BTW, there’s a strip of public land near my house where the Green and NDP signs haven’t been touched but the CPC ones have been knocked down. I expect the MSM to be reporting on it any minute now.

    I will say what ever i feel like and i felt like saying that ….why? look at the mess we are in …of course i am not serious about “slaughtering” anyone you moron….buti am serious about splitting canada if the cons do not get the confidence of the house then the govorner general will appoint the opposition and at that point i will be pushing for a break up of canada …do i want any part of that no i want this country to be as solid and strong and free as possible but if our govornment get’s formed by one person i will absolutley want to separate i am sooo tired of this garbage pile of a govornment .
    Harper is the best i have ever known yet the cbc and all the rest will have you think different and i respect there bias but i am being forced to pay for it at least now i have an option but that was not without a bitter fight ……I would heart broken if canada were to ever split up for any reason but at some point you need to ask yourself Am i willing to have my kids there kids so on and so forth keep paying for the “country of quebec”? and the likes i say if your province sink’s iti s anexed by the province that can afford it and all of it’s law’s and policies are changed to match that of the purchaser and if you are a purchaser or a producing or a “have” province you get to decide your rules in your province while using a common sence aproach to the federal law’s whne it comes to disagreement’s between the province and the feds …anyway i know i left some bait for the trolls but they can go pound sand if they want o take my comment’s out of context they can buti will prove them wrong and the truth will set me free!!

    By the time the rally wound down, Patti Devine was frantic.
    The long-time Liberal attended the party’s event yesterday in Summerside, P.E.I. because she wanted to see Michael Ignatieff in person and “to see how passionate he really is.”
    Devine says she liked what she saw, especially how the Liberal leader tailored his speech to Prince Edward Island with examples about the Tignish fish plant and federal breakwater at Stanley Bridge.
    But the self-described political junkie says she’s still flabbergasted. “I don’t know really what’s going on. I don’t know why the national polls are not reflecting this enthusiasm from Liberals.”
    Devine says it might not be good for her health but she can’t tear herself away from poll data suggesting a virtual tie for second place between the NDP and Liberals.
    “I guess it’s the Quebec numbers that are putting the NDP up so high. The NDP it’s like a utopia, right? I mean yes, I think they’re an important voice to have but it’s not realistic. We have to pay for what we’re going to do.”
    As for what she feels Ignatieff has to do in the last week of this campaign, Devine raises her arms in a sort of “who knows?” kind of gesture.
    She suggests he should do more townhall events where people meet him face-to-face. “I don’t know what more he can do.”
    As for Devine, she says she’s looking forward to when she can focus on something else.”

    And i so would love to finish of what the british left behind but that is wrong and well unfair so we will just have to live with the french people i alway’s think of french people like baby robin’s in then est who wait for momma to come home and puke food into there gaping mouth’s the only difference is that the robins grow up and eventually leave the nest and learn to provide for themselves.

  15. Iffy watched that Seinfeld episode last night after the hockey game where George did the opposite that he would usually do. That is the only explanation where he would relegate himself to third place. Of course it worked for George but we are talking politics and voting day will be ugly for the liberals now.

Let’s see: two parties that want to spread my middle class “wealth” to the point that it would make more sense to go on welfare, a party that wants to break up Canada, but keep their Canadian pensions, and a bunch of tree huggers. I’ll stick with Mr. Harper, thank you. Not perfect but by far the best option for our nation.

    Bob the undertaker…that’s right…just biding his time,waiting for the building blocks of his/the new party to fall neatly into place.

    I believe that the most interesting part of this power grab will be the election results and should the CPC win a majority they had better dilligently watch their backs.

Paul in Calgary, we all know what you mean, and we are all sick of sending Quebec, BILLIONS of dollars from the hard work of Albertans working in the evil OILSANDS/Agriculture and whatever else we bust our asses every-day to send east. Remember, a lot of the workforce here in Alberta came from the east, they are helping and we will prevail, Harper will get 195 to 197, I said it before and I will say it again. Canadians want to work, contribute and have a safe criminal free place to raise their families, with lieberals stuffed into the closets of history, we will have taken care of theives to start.
