    Being a dyed in the wool conservative, I had trouble with his vernacular but seeing as I’ve been around the block a time or two I believe myself adept enough to spot bafflegab of the Liberal nature.
    I’m sure it had something to do with collecting pogey after a failed coup by said lefties and the MSM …their replacement with trained seals balancing balls …as said seals are felt to be more ‘on the ball’ than the likes of the jane tabers,susan delacourts et al.
    Of course some journalists need not worry.

    I hope that guy is ok. I heard he got checked out at the hospital and they didn’t find anything, but it is clearly a medical issue of some kind. His brain clearly stopped working for a bit there.

  41. I’m just glad he’s not an air traffic controller or a pilot. Having no idea who the Minister of National Defence was (except for a Scottish name) was a clue that this was not going to be an informative broadcast. If this is going to be an ongoing condition, he needs a new line of work.

  46. Okay, as to what the dude was saying, I had a listen and yes, definitely bad sushi, combined with the fear of Godzilla. But any thirty seconds of a modern newscast which does not “explain” global warming is an improvement over baseline.

  48. Shaun, do you think if that’d been Stephen Harper up making a public speech and came off sounding like that, the media would have sat on it to be “kind”. If anyone presumes themselves so important as to stand in the public eye, then they need to make sure the family skeletons are securely locked away, and have a rapid exit plan.
