    What garbage i think they shold have had a burka clad woman on there speaking about feminism and woman power. lol.

    The Judges stated that Christian beliefs on sexual ethics may be ‘inimical’ to children, and they implicitly upheld an Equalities and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) submission that children risk being ‘infected’ by Christian moral beliefs.

  6. It looks like MSM journalists have been unsuccessful in promoting their own biased viewpoint: according to this Gallup poll, (via Maggie’s Farm), roughly four times as many Americans say their sympathies lie with the Israelis as opposed to the Palestinians.
    Surprising, but great to hear. I wonder if there’s been any Canadian polling on the subject.

    Is anyone in doubt anymore that Christians in the Wesst are being hit on big-time by gays, feminists, educators, social workers, fill in the blank?
    As for Diane Schneider’s quote in Lucky Lori’s link, “Oral sex, masturbation, and orgasms need to be taught in education,” the latest stats on the effects of oral sex on the health of young people are not encouraging. In the latest Maclean’s (March 14, 2011), in an article entitled “A cancer for the young,” an oncologist at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto says that younger and younger patients are presenting with head and neck cancers, particularly in the tonsils and at the base of the tongue. (I tried to find a link at Maclean’s but was unable to.)
    The cause? Not smoking, not drinking, but oral sex.
    What are our “educators’ thinking? Kate’s right: The world’s being run by crazier and crazier people who, at every turn, are putting the safety, health, and well-being of our children at risk. A child in a Christian home, being taught Christian beliefs and values, is much safer than in a classroom where this oral sex, masturbation, and orgasms agenda is being taught and encouraged.
    Good grief.

Matt and batb, not allowing Christian couples, who disapprove of the homosexual lifestyle, to be foster parents happened in Canada years ago: I know of such couples, fine people, with a sterling track record of caring for difficult to place infants and toddlers, where the homosexual issue’s a moot point, for crying out loud, who were terminated.
    Fostering—a difficult and honourable activity—was an important part of these couples’ livelihoods, and it has been denied them: cruel and unusual punishment. Jackboot behaviour. The homosexual agenda has become as repressive as the situation homosexuals say they’re trying to remedy: it’s now “Our way or else”, using the power of the state, e.g., HRCs, to enforce compliance, by robbing law abiding citizens of their freedom of expression and ability to earn a livelihood they’re well qualified to pursue. The Charter, which is supposed to protect religious freedom, does no such thing—at least not if one’s a Christian: homosexual “rights”, to intimidate and indoctrinate a hostage public, trump Christians’ rights every time.
    On a happier note: the gun charges against Ian Thomson of Port Colbourne—who was protecting his property and life from trespassers who were throwing Molotov cocktails at his home in the middle of the night—have been dropped. From the front page article in The National Post:

As one who was adopted as an infant by parents with strong Christian convictions, I can state with my own strong conviction that eliminating parents from the pool of adoption and fostering candidates based on actually having and living according to moral and ethical standards is yet another step in our country’s demise.

    Outside the big tent, the real purpose of the visit was unfolding, including a business roundtable of Canadian corporate executives and Libyan government officials.
    A spokeswoman for Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Pierre Pettigrew said the purpose was to “promote economic reforms and encourage Libya to look toward Canadian investment.”
    One bold step in that direction saw the two sides sign a memorandum of understanding with Montreal-based engineering giant SNC-Lavalin involving the C$1 billion Great Man-Made River Project that aims to deliver water from vast aquifers beneath the Sahara Desert to Libya’s thirsty coastal population. That touch of symbolism was seen as a door opener for Canadian involvement in developing Libya’s oil and gas riches, along with civil engineering and aerospace contracts.
    Petro-Canada Chief Executive Officer Ron Brenneman was among executives from four Calgary-based companies — Talisman Energy and Nexen also planned to attend — laying the groundwork to compete with 59 other countries in a bidding round scheduled for Jan. 10, with the results to be revealed on Jan. 29.”

  33. I was just grocery shopping at the Saskatoon Co-op on 8th and Israeli clementines are in the stores now under the “Jaffa” label. Delicious oranges, I will likely go back and buy more tomorrow.
