Neil Macdonald takes another crack at Sarah Palin. he even tries to whitewash his earlier smears of her:
“(Speaking of which, I should note here that I once broadcast a story, during the Republican convention, on the widespread, and ultimately false, speculation in the U.S. media about whether Palin had actually given birth to her disabled son, Trig; or whether her daughter Bristol was actually the mother. The story prompted complaints and a report by the CBC Ombudsman.)”

Makes me wonder if all he was reporting on was the rumour why didn’t he report that everybody knew they were BS two days before he reported on them? Not that his report actually was on the rumours, his report was the rumour.
Seems he’s the most biased reporter in the world, or the most incompetent.
Jonathon Kay at the National Post has the scoop on the original smear by Macdonald:

Another ACORN tape. According to Breitbart, there are more.

bryanr: “Warrens going to concentrate more on Municipal & Prov. politics on his blog.”
Oh no! That means my prediction on another blog might be coming true: Apparently, Kinsella is a friend of John Tory’s.
Tory had better not put Kinsella on his mayoralty team; that would be death to his attempt to woo Toronto Conservatives — not a good idea, seeing as Tory IS a Conservative.
Dave: “Anita, that’s a great letter and I hope Coren reacts to it. As you know from personal experience …”
… Mr. Coren doesn’t like to be corrected. I thought that that’s what you might be going to say.
Once upon a time, when I tried to explain some issues from a Catholic point of view in Mel Gibson’s The Passion of Christ, Coren wrote me a nasty note, which completely flummoxed me, and blocked me from sending him any more e-mails.
Agreed Anita’s letter is GR-8 and just hope that Coren’s inflated opinion of himself doesn’t prevent him from seeing the facts of the matter, especially as Anita has lived in India and knows what she’s talking about.
A few months after my e-mail, BTW, Coren wrote an article in which he revealed that he had come around to the point of view I had tried to explain to him. Whether or not I was unblocked from access to his e-mail, I have no idea, because I’ve never e-mailed him again, nor would I ever attempt to.
CBC & Liberal Iffy “lament” the Lost Separatist Coalition.
It’s Iffy’s fault.
“A strident plan to bring down the Conservative government last fall has somehow mellowed, or melted, into a lament from leader Michael Ignatieff.”
…-
“Opportunity knocks for the NDP?”

maz2: CBC & Liberal Iffy “lament” the Lost Separatist Coalition.
It’s Iffy’s fault.
Yup, that’s the new Librano and media mantra — all the better to shine the spotlight on Bob Rae, the new Liberal poster boy, my dear.
These Liberal$ are so transparent! The Lib Backroom Boys, including the Puppet Masters at Power Corp, are at it again.
“Bye, bye, Iggy!” as they rewind the tape of the Count being parachuted into Lakeshore-Etobicoke, and “Hello, Bobby!,” as they fast forward Le Rae onto the Librano Throne.
‘Notice who’s been answering questions on behalf of the Leader of the Opposition in the past few days? Yup. It’s Power Corps’ guy Rae.
‘All so predictable. ‘All so despicable.
From Tom Gross in the National Post:

Number of pages in document being covered:

• Palin book: 432
