Allahu Akbar: It’s The New “Cry For Help”

According to Kathy Shaidle, the quote has now passed from SDA’s pages to Rush Limbaugh’s 20 million ears.
If I can run across an audio clip, will post later.
Update: It’s here, in typical Rush Public Service Announcement style. h/t EAK

  1. I already complimented you once, Kate, OT, on another thread after Steyn quoted you at The Corner.
This new thread headline is a masterpiece. And it has legs!
From my extensive web surfing, I’d have to say you’re the best copywriter in the business.
Your headlines provide me random chuckles even when I’m nowhere near the computer.
As does sister-in-crime Kathy Shaidle, whose “Come and Get me Fairies” destroys me!
I have a feeling you’d make a very good pop lyricist: country?

  2. Only morons and those so self deluded that they can no longer think for themselves would consider it an honor to even be assossiated with such egotistical, bombastic farce as Rush Limbaugh. It would be tantamount to even thinking that Sarah Palin could ever have what it takes to be a vice president. She would have been even more of an international laughing stock; as are those who voted for her. God help us all.

  3. Gee Osumashi. Don’t be so mean to T. He, like, knows his stuff. He knows who killed JFK. He watches Jon Jon Stewart and he’s seen every Michael Moore movie a couple of times each!

  4. There’s more where that comes from, too – you could fill a book with your to-the-point, creative aphorisms. I can’t count the number of times I simultaneously laughed out loud and winced – making an “ooo” face – while reading another one of your pithy and devastatingly apt bon mots.

  5. set you free, the strip joint is down the road from Ft.Hood. If my own military days are any judge, I imagine it does a pretty good business.
I have to paraphrase the words of the stripper, as I don’t remember them precisely. But she said somehing like,
“I just jumped right out of bed when I saw him on TV – I mean, I knew this guy – I’l always remember him, because he was the first customer I had ever given a lap dance for… ”
My understanding is that she gave him 2 lap dances. This is of course the exact behavior of the 9/11 terrorists. They hit a bunch of strip joints before they took off on their mission.

  6. T:
If Rush Limbaugh was on the left you would call him edgy, provocative. You would say he spoke truth to power.
By dissing him you are acknowledging he is an important voice. 20 million.
Regarding Sarah Palin, surely she could do better than the buffoon Biden. Much of her problem was the intense media focus, magnifying any mistake she made.

  7. Oh no, its like when David Bowie released Let’s Dance….now everyone will know about her.
I will just have to be satisifed with, “I was commenting on SDA before it was this big…..”

  8. Greg:
Yeah, that quote’s in the story.
Hey, I’ve been to the ballet before myself and usually, so what?
Remember back to 9/11 when Atta and his cohorts were also frequent customers of the peelers?
Apparently, the imams of murder can recognize the sexually repressed and use them to create mayhem.

  9. Fred:
Good for you for catching the irony.
Must have been watching too many episodes of Criminal Intent.
As the former Muslim who is going to be baptized in our church later this month pointed out, even his wife is less important than his shoe.
So, if a naked ballet dancer can create a promise of the future after a glorious death … hey , who am I to figure it out?

  10. my question is: What did those VIRGINS do so wrong to have to share a slime ball murderer who has the tenacity to blow holes in his brothers and sisters?

  11. glacierman:
You’d have to ask your friendly neighbourhood imam.
Still looking for evidence any of the alleged virgins weight less than 300 pounds. Can’t explain it.
But then, when a guy’s not getting much (if any), he must be pretty easy to fool.

  12. Guys like T have never listened to Rush Limbaugh before. Haven’t a clue. They just take the left’s talking points and run (limp) with them….
If he had listened to Rush, he would find that Rush speaks the language of common sense. Of course, most on the left don’t have a clue what that’s all about anyways….
    Congrats, Kate!

  13. It’s not exactly a groundbreaking or original set of words, so other people were likely saying it. In other words, don’t be so quick to take credit.
    Thanks.

  14. This is a rather good one. No wonder people want to quote you.
Another recent good observation was from mark Steyn, when he used the phrase “pre post traumatic stress disorder.” What’s particularly sickening about it is that he nailed it… this is actually a plausible reason that is being advanced in the media.

  15. So, sam, proof of your mean-spirited remark? What others, for instance, “were likely saying it”?
What a dumb-ass, stupid thing to say. Stick around, sam, you might learn something.

  16. Who wouldn’t be thrilled to be quoted with approval by a proven racist, obese oxycontin-addicted demagogue with an approval rating of 19% who like SDA is in heat to make political hay out of a tragic event before all the facts are in?

  17. Not quite OT: ‘Am reading Khaled Hosseini’s second novel (his first is the acclaimed The Kite Runner) and am fascinated and sickened by the treatment of Muslim women, as he describes his protaginist’s life in Afghanistan in the ’70s.
There is something truly gruesome, perverse, and chilling — might I also add evil? — about the way in which many Muslim men regard women: as chattel, “as nothing but a house cat,” as soothers of their egos, as ciphers for their own weaknesses.
It’s pretty clear that Hasan, the “alleged” gunman at Fort Hood, had a militant political and religious Islamist agenda when he let loose with a spray of bullets on his army base. It’s as clear as the noses on our faces — but it seems that the American chattering classes are all wearing burqas with no peripheral vision.

  18. It’s a very good line Kate. With a minor change you could say ‘It’s news, cry for help.’ I know, pretty bad.

  19. Hey guys … I know it’s great fun, but could you refrain from responding to the verbal diarrhea emitted by the usual trolls.
It gives them a false sense of importance and encourages them to continue hurling silly little insults.

  20. Looks like T lost his crayons and can’t comment anymore.
For all you adults out there, Sarah Palin will be in Grand Rapids Mi. on the 18th for a book signing.
Atric is planning to attend, although it’s a 300mi.one-way drive. Figure it’s worth it to get the personal signature of a future POTUS.

  21. The upside to this, if there is one, is that PC may not take precedence over common sense. There are going to be some spankings given as to why this misfit was allowed to continue in the forces. It would be too easy for costly professionals to get out of service too easily but there has got to be some hardship posts to send them to or jail for their minimum service requirements. This is proof to the bury your head in the sand and get kicked in the arse school of thought.

  22. It is fascinating that the left is so convinced that their fuhrer is the latest genius and that Sarah Palin is dim.
And yet with one face-book post Sarah Palin effectively harpooned OBOZO’s extensively/expensively promoted Health Care bill.
    Death panels……
    HMMMMMM…

  23. O’garbage “healing process” for allahmO & “partners”.
    …-
“Mosque Leaders Part of Fort Hood ‘Healing Process’ at Memorial Service (FBI RAID MOSQUE)
“We are partners in the healing process,” Maj. John Zavage, an Arabic-speaking specialist in Middle Eastern affairs who came to transport four members of the mosque of the Islamic Community of Greater Kileen onto the post, told ABC News’ Bob Woodruff.
But as Zavage spoke, FBI agents arrived at the mosque, and some examined the contents of garbage cans.”

  24. There’s more where that comes from, too – you could fill a book with your to-the-point, creative aphorisms. — EBD
Couldn’t agree more, EBD (and others). Not that you don’t already have enough on your plate, Kate, you should really try to write more. I recall the great op-ed piece you had in the NP awhile back.
    (You’re no slouch yourself, EBD!)

  25. Bleet (great name by the way, sounds like the true sheeple you are),
Everyone is racist, push enough buttons and yours will ring just as loud as Rush’s!

  26. Allahu Akbar: It’s The New “Cry For Help”
lol lol lol. I think something just broke in me laughing. Great headline!!!
So true as the flood Islamaphilia once again generated by the MSM with its lies & obstructionism flood us all. Fearing their favorite monsters may suffer Islamaphobia for there slaughter. Least it may turn the Nation against the “Religion of Peace”. As mass murder’s syndrome hits again at the Kaffir by individuals looking to appease their Allah threw shed blood of none believers. Killing all who do not bow before their god of war.
You caught the appeasers with their pants down Kate.

  27. *
“t screeches… She would have been even more
    of an international laughing stock…”

yeah… unlike that undisputed “genius” Barack Obummer.
    *

  28. Great post and the headline.
Now, MSM still does not now why its has been done, they even do not know who did it – as evidenced by the following sentence in today’s CSMonitor.
“Investigators are still trying to determine why shooting suspect Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan allegedly pulled out two handguns last Thursday ”
When I last checked my dictionary “alleged” means “supposed, not proven” and the “suspect” means “One who is suspected of having committed a crime.”

  29. Yeah, ella, go figure. Political correctness, multiculturalism gone berserk. They, as much as the guns, are killers.
