Blog Notes

Tomorrow morning I hit the road for a two week run of dog shows. I’ll have net access off and on, but for the most part you’ll be in the hands of our capable guest bloggers.
Mind your manners, and check out the blogroll should things get slow.

good luck to you and the doggies:-))))

  2. Forecasters are predicting it’s going to rain cats-and-dogs in a few locales. Hope you can avoid stepping in any poodles.

  3. I don’t want to be rude here guys, but I was a newspaper reporter for many years. You people are continuously bashing the newspapers, mags etc. But guess what guys?? We went to worlk every morning, and if we went to a dog show it was to cover the story. I guess you could say that the newspapers is what seperates the men from the boys!!

  4. No, Joe Citizen, it’s what separates the people who are tickled by monks with boners and those of us searching for truth. I had respect for the old style reporters who dug out the news stories with the intensity of a terrier, not today’s type who writes his story on what he heard on the cocktail circuit, especially those put on by elitist liberal politicians, feminists cliques and the rantings of the poverty pimps.

Is they? I’m sure Kate will find a good and practical use for newspapers on this particular trip, but enough with the doggerel…

  6. Joe; If Nixon had been a Democratic president and the Republicans had started the Viet Nam war,he would NEVER have been impeached. In fact he would have beeen hearlded for ending the Viet Nam war and statues would have been erected in his honor.

So Joe… how many ppl have you seen in the Newsroom that didn’t actually fit the reporter role.
When JFK was assassinated a little known Dallas reporter read a CIA prepared script on Network CBS… Why would he do that? Why would CBS air a local reporter? Who was that reporter?

  9. I guess you could say that the newspapers is what separates the men from the boys!!
…and I thought it was what separates the bird from the cage floor. I can NOT think of any other use for it.

…but I had to fix your spelling errors?
“worlk” I think you meant work but it might have been world, and “seperates” with this one I am sure you meant separates.
What a bloody genius, the professional skills are just dripping off your, ewe, what ever that smelly thing is.

  11. Free: I just had an eye operation–I’m typing with the bad one. Right now I’m legally blind–and I don’t know Braille! Sorry! In my day–we just wrote the article on a ruled paper–the typists took care of the rest.
Question: Why did you use quotation marks on the words worlk and seperate? Check it out in your text book.
