  5. I saw that last night and laughed. The guy who cleaned up at least used to be a comedy writer for the late late show with Conan O’Brian. Not sure who the woman in the middle was, but certainly Wolf did not come across well. At least he got the final jeopardy question right, but then again it was pretty easy, and they all got it.

  7. new, I think if you’re going to make presumptions based on the color of Glenn Beck, you should push your computer keyboard as far away from you as possible… and enroll in some educational upgrading courses which are freely available from many locations across this country. I’m making a presumption that you start with any english class in the grade 4 – grade 6 level, and I believe I’m being very generous with that.

    politicians like Bush, Palin, Clinton, Pelosi and Obama just about anybody get blasted by the press, it is part of the job. When you are in leadership and espouse positions that are not popular, you get criticized. Blacks and other minorities actually get off much easier than most white politicians. When they do get criticized, it is “Racism, racism”. If there is any racism, it is on the way the press, treats them with kit gloves and not holding them to account like they would any white politician.
    If people of color want to participate in politics and they should, they need to play by the same rules everyone else does, and not run home crying “racism” everytime someone disagrees with them.

    I like to play google trivia with my friends and associates. they ask a Q and if I choose to attempt an answer we google it and see how close I got it.
    remember Trivia Pursuit? all the rage back in the 80s. I lived in Niagara Region at the time where the game was developed. I never lost a round. got to the point no one would take up the challenge because they knew they were gonna get beat.
    games like craps, poker and monopoly not so good because there is too much chance involved. I like games that involve skill and knowledge.

  25. new – Communicating in a foreign language is difficult for anyone. I think your ideas would be clearer if you tried writing in short sentences ending in periods. Also, you tend to try to say too many things in a single post. Just one or two thoughts is usually enough. And people often don’t read very long posts, or lots of them one after another.

    I guess I’m willing to give Blitzer a bit of a break, some of those questions were pretty wordy (brain processing time), and I had to look up “mostaccioli” – little mustaches.
    I think in the end, not having watched it, that he’s just slower than (a very bright) Andy Richter, and was just trying to buzzer-jump to get in the game, with unsuccessful results.

  46. @missing link — I can’t say if it’s true on Celebrity Jeopardy!, but on the regular version, the contestants DO NOT know the categories in advance. You walk onto the stage cold, and the first time you see them is when Alex announces them.

    Acorn can ask government of USA to review their welfare system and make it similar like the one in Denmark . This country has the best country help their poor
