  1. Don’t expect much from the CBC. When they had a story on the bike courier being killed by the ex-AG in McGuilty’s Liberal gov’t they never let any of my comments through. When they were so happy the courier grabbed the wheel I stated Saabs had brakes and the guy never pushed his foot on the gas pedal. In the end I gave up and asked if they were getting tired of being an enabling Liberal hack censor. I gotta have some fun.

  3. No time to look at all the comments today, So I do not know if anyone has said this.
I hope that the conservatives grab hold of that tape, With permission of Dave Rutherford of course And use that in their future Commercials.

  4. hardboiled: “wow. a politician lying. who’d a thought?”
Yeah, there’s lying and then there’s LIBERAL LYING.

  5. The Liberals are so dishonest, so corrupt and so downright inept, how do they manage to win even a single seat? They should be relegated to the fringes, somewhere in Green Party territory.
Yet, there they are …. just a few steps behind the Conservatives in the polls.
This speaks volumes about the Canadian voter.

  6. Boob Rae is a pathetic, deperate liar…Lucky for him the MSM will ignore his blatant lying. The MSM (cbc, ctv, mop@pail, T.O. star etc.) are now to busy dragging out stories about Max Bernier and Boobgate along with some lame ass story about Defence Minister Peter McKay. The media in this country are so predictable, trying to deflect attention away from the ill-advised threats of another election by the Count, and his power mad cronies, and ignoring Rays complete lack of credibility on most subjects ( Power Corp. lackey), along with the preposturous assumption that if an election occurs it will be PM Harpers fault. Wow thats some seriously demented spin. Canadians deserve better then these turds.

  7. When countigor returns to the states i’m hoping he takes knobrae, dolton McF-up and KKKruton with him.
Igor on TV looks like his eyebrows need glue when saying that Canada needs a NEW Economy-I’m thinking hopeydopeychangey-NEW,, knobby won’t be disagreeing on that, riding shotgun on the lying pomo stagecoach, sidesaddle of course.

“PIANO MAN: Stephen Harper was in the Niagara region for a tourism round table
    PM’s playing stuns crowd
NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE — The most surprising moment came when the interview was finished.
After the last question was answered and the room was being cleared, Prime Minister Stephen Harper quietly sat down at the dusty old upright piano pushed into a corner of the theatre.
At first, it sounded like he was just noodling on the keys, not playing anything specific. Just something bluesy. But it was enough to stop everyone in their tracks — the press and government personnel alike.
This is Stephen Harper after all, not a man exactly known for spontaneity in public.
But there he was, playing ever more earnestly on the piano. He picked up tempo and volume for a few moments, tapping his foot under the piano bench, before turning around to look at everyone watching him.
    “Recognize the tune?”
No one said anything for a moment.
“Gimme Shelter,” said Sun Media photographer Bob Tymczysyn.
Harper grinned, nodded and said, “Rolling Stones!” and turned back to the piano to keep playing.”

    Piano Man:
    “Chorus:
Sing us a song, youre the piano man
    Sing us a song tonight
Well, were all in the mood for a melody
And youve got us feelin alright”
    (H/T Billy Joel)

  9. Boob Rae spent a whack of credibility on the Rutherford show, nothing much left. Maybe he’ll show up doing another skinny dip on national TV to divert attention from his damned lies.

  10. I must take exception to anyone who calls the liarberal party of Canada inept. Ruthless, corrupt, scheming, dishonest, megalomaniacal, greedy, yes, but they have proven themselves to be brilliant politicians.
Will the Conservatives take the necessary steps to counter the forces arrayed against us? (i.e. normal Canadians)Probably not. They will probably be the nice guys while the CBC, CTV, Star and Globe do their usual hatchet job.
On another note, I did not know the relationship of the Rae’s and Chairman Mo but really, that is not surprising. I knew the Desmarais connection but not this one. Amazing how any leader of the liarberal party all seem to have a close relationship to Chairman Mo or Power Corp.
As for Iggy paying US taxes, what’s the big deal? Paul Martin avoided paying taxes anywhere by having his ships registered offshore!

  11. The plot comes back to huant the actors. Sometimes you wonder whats theater or whats become of reality.

  12. Bob Rae isn’t even the number one number two man. If John Manley were to enter the fray, he’d be toast.

  13. Come on now – cool your jets. I counted a meer 10 lies in that two minute sound bite. By Lieberal standards that hardly sets a new mark.
How do you know Liberal is lying? Easy. He opens his mouth.

  14. I like the picture Joe painted of the dead parrot nailed to a perch- Iggy does resemble that when he is in front of the camera.

  15. Don’t be too hard on old Bob as he is only doing what Marxists do best. Truth is whatever serves the advancement of the “The Party”.

  16. you didn’t follow the argument. when bob said that michael didn’t say those words, he meant that he didn’t say them in relation to the three-party coalition that didn’t exist.
yes, he said it. bob wasn’t denying this. he was – correctly – stating that when he said it, he wasn’t referring to a three party coalition, as rutherford, following the CPC talking points, fraudulently claimed was the case.
this isn’t about griping over the precise meaning of words, it’s about the ability to carry on a conversation within the context of the conversation itself.
it’s preposterous to think that you can’t not understand why bob wasn’t lying…this is just a libelous smear job.

  17. Bob, lying is not the problem. You just need more air time.
“A lie told often enough becomes truth.” -Vladimir Lenin

  18. If Bob wasn’t lying, he offers no clarification on the issue whatsoever. He comes across as smug and arrogant, and more out of touch than ever. Canadians do not distinguish between parties who were involved in the coalition since the NDP, Liberals, and the Bloc each had a role within its’ context. This was well understood at the time and revisions at this date are not being well received.
What Ignatieff said is less important than his signature which is clearly on the document. Janke has the photographic evidence at : http://stevejanke.com/WindowsLiveWriter/53dfe6560134_BF1D/image_4.png
Ignatieff signed the document and so did members of all the aforementioned parties.
Bob Rae is a snivelling Desmarais puppet who simply cannot be trusted even when he is telling the truth.

  19. Bob Rae was just on the Roy Green show , he admitted that Iggy said the coalition words but he still went on about the document was an accord not a coalition. that the Bloq , Dippers and Lieberals signed an accord , not a coalition. Iggy signed a letter along with all the other support lieberals . he also claimed there was one document signed by lieberals and dippers and a different one signed by the lieberals and the separatists.

  20. I believe if Michael Ignatieff losses the election and I believe he will, he will be hiking off to another country, and shortly. Can you honestly vote for someone who has not paid any Income Taxes in Canada in the last 34 years. Where has his patriotism for his beloved country been anyway.

  21. Somewhat off topic, but I’ve noticed the Liberals have just released some attack ads against the PM and the Conservatives. So far the Media has been refering to these attack ads, which call the elected PM “mean and petty” as pre-eleection ad campaigning. Funny how the media cheer on the inserted leader of the Liberal party as merely campaigning and when the Torys say mean things about the foreigner, Count Iggula, they refer to them as attack ads. The double standard and outright bias employed by the MSM in Canada is nothing new, but is still just as nauseating and may go along way in explaining why PM Harper cannot recieve a majority mandate from the electorate. How can there be fair elections in this country when the PM and the Conservatives are under a constant barrage of negative spin from the media while the same media whores go out of thier way to protect and indeed campaign on behalf of whoever the Liberals have inserted as thier new saviour.
