Second Time Office Equipment has seen a huge influx of 48 pallets (30 tonne) of ewaste come in during the past few days. The public has turned out in a show of support and dropped off more eWaste at our facility than usual. I suspect it has much to do with the multi-media comments coming from your blog, CTF, and radio.
Our yard is totally full, and we are working a double shift to clear some space.
Next time you think you are too small to make a difference….try spending time in a closed bedroom with a mosquito……….

Anyone know of an equivalent operation in Calgary? I have a load of electronics to re-cycle, phones, old laptops & defunct printers.

Hey T. They way most of us see it, SARCAN gets the gold mine, free enterprise gets the shaft!
I’d rather deal with the private recycler, the customer service is better, the attitude is better, and I don’t have to put up with being short changed on my bottle count. There is room for both in Saskatchewan.
jt In Calgary there is a small recycle operation on the old Curry Barracks site It is easy to see if you follow the route through the front gate on the way to the farmers market.
