    Al Qaeda began in the 19th c, in an ideology of a warped fundamentalist Islam; it moved into the political realm in the world war years as fascist and has now, after Iraq, moved into pure criminality. That is, the members are in it now for the money not the ideology. This focus on gang criminality is a factor within many immigrant groups.

As members of this identity-group, their actions are ‘protected’ because they are defined, for some odd reason as ‘victims’. These people use this definition to protect their criminal actions. Arrest them for breaking the law and they’ll immediately scream ‘racism’.
    Australia, in 2007, has set up a ‘values statement’ for all people coming to Australia on visas or immigration. The statement has to be signed – and declares that the applicant recognizes the rule of law, democracy, equality of men and women, a shared identity rather than multiculturalism, the use of English, etc. This new application form effectively sidelines the diversity buffer, the wall-of-multicultural impunity, behind which so many of these gangs operate.
    The govt has to stop this notion of defining immigrants or people from other cultures as immune to having to obey the law. If they claim they don’t understand the law – tough; that’s no excuse. A criminal act is a criminal act and if you move to a new country, you abide by THEIR laws. Not your old ones.
    As for ‘new’ – ignore him. He’s a fraud, both in his pretence not to be fluent in English (he’s quite fluent; he forgets and often spells correctly); and his many pseudonyms (haye, new etc)..and his trying to set himself up as Muslim – which he knows zilch about.   14. To andycanuck: My son lives in Australia. Not only have they banned handguns, they’ve also made it virtually impossible to own a long gun. (Unless you’re a farmer.) Yet in the heart of Sydney, one block from Anzac Parade, they deal drugs openly on the street. The white faction of Auzzie society is being replaced by “vistors.” Pity!!

  15. There is nothing special about the Middle Eastern gangs except the reluctance of the police to take them on for fear of being accused of a hate crime or racism or whatever.
    So as long as our police do not afford them this preferential treatment, we should be able to deal with them as we do with other criminals.
    Not to say that I am pleased we are importing this crap into Canada when we could be taking more law abiding and likely-to-assimilate successfully individuals.
    A ban on muslim immigration will never happen, nor should it. For example Ismaili muslims (followers of the Aga Khan) are here in large numbers and are excellent citizens. Half of the doctors and professors in some places are Arabs, many representing the cream of the crop that escaped from the madness of radical Islam. Others came here to study, but stayed rather than go back to their native lands. Do you seriously think such people want to see the stuff that they tried to escape come here?
    We simply need to enforce our own laws, and make it clear that immigrants/refugees who commit crime s in Canada will be put back on the plane to whatever hellhole they came from, after being fingerprinted so that they can be identified when they come back, and packed right off. I would definitely like to see a lot less refugees here, and take proper competition immigrants, with conditions that include longer time to citizenship, and penalties of returning to home country if they commit major offenses. The Danes made some changes to their immigration laws that seemed sensible and had a good impact.
    The problem is not only, or even mostly, the immigrants… its their self hating morally relativistic Canadian enablers like the social workers and lying immigration consultants and pandering local politicians and legal aid industry etc etc.
    I know quite a few, and I can’t think of an immigrant family from any part of the world, Pakistan and Middle East included, who are not good Canadians. No religious lunatics, their daughters are all normal, their dads dote on their children, no physical abuse, no alcohol (which is more than I can say for some Canadians)
    p.s. I find it hard to believe that we can’t block hayte/new/whatever from posting here. Of course we can ignore it, but all those pages and pages of junk interfere with the conversations.

  16. It IS possible to own hand guns in Aus. A friend of mine lives in the north part of Queensland , is a member of a shooting club and they are allowed to own revolvers of 38cal or smaller,bolt or lever action rifles and standard shotguns. No semi auto firearms though.

In second place was aboriginal spirituality at 175.1%, followed by Islam at a mere 128.9%. Compared with Roman Catholicism, Canada’s largest religion which grew 4.8%, Islam grew pretty fast I think it’s safe to say.

  48. WHITE FLIGHT is in full force in Toronto. I have relatives who lived in Brampton and got out because the schools were filled with middle easterners and the violence and gangs were too dangerous for their ‘Canadian’ children. They sold their house to middle easterners and fled to the exurbs. That’s only a personal experience, but it’s well known in Toronto real estate industry that White Flight is a fact and can be exploited in defined neighborhoods.
