Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Tory-controlled) has now announced that, following a complaint by a Muslim employee, all work pictures and knick-knacks of novelty pigs and “pig-related items” will be banned. Among the verboten items is one employee’s box of tissues, because it features a representation of Winnie the Pooh and Piglet. And, as we know, Muslims regard pigs as “unclean”, even an anthropomorphised cartoon pig wearing a scarf and a bright, colourful singlet.

Every single Metropolitan police officer will be ‘microchipped’ so top brass can monitor their movements on a Big Brother style tracking scheme, it can be revealed today.
According to respected industry magazine Police Review, the plan – which affects all 31,000 serving officers in the Met, including Sir Ian Blair – is set to replace the unreliable Airwave radio system currently used to help monitor officer’s movements.
The new electronic tracking device – called the Automated Personal Location System (APLS) – means that officers will never be out of range of supervising officers.

This is partially correct I believe. In reality we have triangulation going on here: the state, the Islamists (Muslim Council of Britain, etc) and ordinary Muslims who really aren’t agitating for this nonsense. Like CAIR, the MCB represents only a tiny fraction of the Muslim pop. which itself is quite small at only 3% of the pop. But tragically the political elite continues to give these Muslim Brotherhood front operations legitimacy and the Islamists use this imprimatur to radicalize the community through the mosques. And thereby the truly moderate Muslims are undermined, marginalized, and afraid.
The deal seems to be 1) dawa: plant Islam 2) herd the flock via the method mentioned above — the incremental drip by drip creation of a parallel sharia-compliant community. Every little thing, no matter how trivial and silly it may seem to us, is a building block for the state within a state.

When some of the “accommodation” gets to the point of preventing ordinary folk access to pools and disallows kleenex boxes, there is bound to be a backlash. Many quite tolerant people will become intolerant if they perceive that their own culture is being undermined by authorities giving in on trivial (but ultimately highly symbolic) issues — such as this.
The fact that this was a Tory controlled council shows how far the intimidation has advanced — mustn’t be seen not cravenly pandering to petty islamist complaints or the usual suspects will scream “Racists!!!!!”. It really reflects the deadliest of weaknesses, not a full on defeat, not a haemorhaging(sp?) wound, just the tired resignation to death from a thousand cuts and the abject lack of any will to resist the inevitable state of slavery, the moral vacuity of believing that resistance simply isn’t worth the effort.
