  6. Has there ever been a web host site down for more than a week. One site works the second does not at Storesonline. Mischief may be afoot again. Important information on the site thats down. Not an expert on this, but getting the run around from the site hosts.

  17. This story is a bit old, but could have a follow-up. Last Sunday, Palm Sunday, a group of Native protesters attempted to “evict” the Catholic Church from Holy Rosary Church in Vancouver, claiming it was “Squamish” land. The protesters said that they would be back this Easter Sunday to “enforce” their eviction.
    Video available here. The leadership of the Squamish Nation has distanced themselves from this band of– renegades– as I shall charitably call them. A Mass was also disrupted in Toronto at St. Michael’s Cathedral when someone tried to read a statement.

    Somehow they seemed to miss the story about high flying executives and corporate excesses and high prices hotel rooms.
    That’s right down their alley normally.
    Maybe they blew the budget on all the Conrad Black coverage.
    If Stephen Harper had eaten an extra bag of peanuts on a flight, the CBC would have been on it like stink on a hippy.
    Or if it had been an evil oil company executive, but wait, this was a story about high flying CBC executives….

    In the news reports regarding the intrusion into the computer records of US passports for McCain, Obama and Clinton it was stated there were roughly 6,000 public servants working in the Passport department along with a far fewer number of “contractors”.
    Does anyone have any idea how many public servants are employed by the Canadian Passport department/offices?
