My first response was to submit a definition of a terrorist verses any of the other terms it is used interchangeably with, but gave up that approach as a lost cause after perusing through the CBC bafflegab.
My Webster defines a terrorist as someone who practices terrorism. Terror is the instilling of extreme fear (by inference; the targeting of the civilian population). Now that’s not too difficult for the vast unwashed to see, is it? Then why can’t the CBC and the MSM elitists comprehend it?
All the other terms are used to describe military operatives who target an invading military not civilians or their officials.

The CBC’s guidelines seem to be written as if the intended audience was a group of second graders. The attempt to obfuscate the issue is clearly apparent. The claim is made that the usage of the word ‘terrorist’ is avoided because it may place legitimate protest groups at the risk of losing their civil liberties. Is the CBC actually not tell the difference between religious extremists who blow themselves up to kill and maim innocent civilians and a group like PETA? Are there any adults working at editor’s desks for the CBC? How ridiculous!

It is remarkable that when we have Canadian troops in harms way that the CBC continue to refuse to identify the enemy as exactly that.

The United States of America has a great deal of respect and admiration for the British Monarchy.

I am not a Monarchist, but cannot understand why anyone would plot to kill an elderly lady, in her 80’s that harms no one, does her job well, and conducts herself with the dignity befitting her office.
