Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Had a member of the UBCDN (United Brotherhood of Communist Door Knockers) at my house last night. Asked him why I should vote for his party. The response was that Brad Wall and the Sask Party don’t have a good plan and we will lose the momentum we have as a province. 16 years in power and the best reason to vote NDP is the ‘other guys’ are scary.

7 YEAR OLD SUSPENDED FOR DRAWING A PICTURE OF A GUN
http://tinyurl.com/ywkt5q
“”DENNIS TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) – A second-grader’s drawing of a stick figure shooting a gun earned him a one-day school suspension.
Kyle Walker, 7, was suspended last week for violating Dennis Township Primary School’s zero-tolerance policy on guns, (…)
Kyle gave the picture to another child on the school bus, and that child’s parents complained about it to school officials, McDevitt said. Her son told her the drawing was of a water gun, she said.””
WHY HAS THE MSM BURIED THE STORY OF THE YEAR??
http://tinyurl.com/ysftqb
The thing that makes this story worthy of MSM investigation is 4 fold.
1)US planes with nuikes were permanently grounded in 1968 ( congressional order)
2) Armed nukes flown in US aircraft over US airspace is forbidden by a standing presidential order since 1991
3) All airborne nukes are kept in separate secured facilities from the aircraft and arming missiles then loading armed cruise missiles on a B52 is an 8hr task
4) Barksdale AFB La. where the B52 set down, and the crew walked away, is the designated USAF base for long run strategic/support bombing in the middle east.
(was this plane on its way to Iran for th pre emptive strike against Iranian nuke facilities which the president and security advisors had been openly musing about for over 2 months?)
Why are the MSM satisfied that some officer’s were “fired” for this “mistake”? Are they not even curious as to the charges against the officers?? Were they acting on orders or do low ranking officers have the security juice to get 6 cruise missles out of lock up, arm them with 6 nukes from lock up, order deployment of the armed missiles on a USAF bomber in defiance of an act of congress and a presidential order?
Things that make you go Hmmmm…mostly about the MSM’s non curiosity.

Reposting from previous tips thread:
RUMOUR: The Dion Liberals have an opposition day next week and they are planning to bring in a motion that they do not have confidence in the government and they want to bring ’em down.
Garth Turner was letting slip today that there will be in election “in weeks” and if you read his recent blog posting it is pure unadulterated bravado. It is known that he is lobbying other Liberal MPs to join him and Dion is already on board.
The REAL deadline for Dion is to have an election before the December 1st meeting of the 308 Liberal riding presidents where it is rumoured they are planning to oust Dion by convincing him to step aside.
Insiders say this Dion ouster is being orchestrated from within the MP ranks. The only way he can avoid it is to force an election.
They also don’t want Flaherty to have a good economic update or any more successes. They especially do not want another good news Harper budget. (Good news for Canadians is ALWAYS bad news for Liberals I guess).
So, Garth Turner and Dion are frothing for personal survival and hatred of all things Harper to have us spend $300 million for an election Canadians don’t need or want.
When questioned about this Iggy said HE was the Deputy Leader and knew nothing about it at thisd point.
It would appear that Garth Turner is the leader of this particular rat pack to force an election.
Should Canadians be VERY afraid of a party leader or a political party that can be manipulated by an off the wall ego-manic radical like Garth Turner? After all Turner did such a good job for Kim Campbell – NOT.

PM Harper has never heard of Job; the patience of Job. See, PM Harper is a Wiccan; never reads the Bible.

Another reason Garth Turner wants an election NOW. The Halton Conservatives have not yet nominated a candidate. The NDP candidate is a youngster of 28 years old and Garth has an “in” with the Greens.
So, one would guess that Garth’s owen personal survival instincts to get reelected start to fade AFTER the Conservatives choose a candidate I don’t think he is thinking about all his fellow Liberal caucus members who may lose their seats if they go now and the cushy pensions.
The Halton Conservatives have been having all kinds of successful fund raisers and Garth is using his blog to appeal for money as he is short $55,000 he says. Funny that the Halton Liberal association is NOT actively fundraising for him and the MP himself has to be his own bagman?

Embattled Democrat Pete Stark has just publicly apologized to “the president and his family.”
He took the floor after his fellow Democrats successfully killed a motion to censure him in the wake of his remarks last Thursday asserting that American troops were fighting in Iraq to have their “heads blown off for the president’s amusement.”
“I want to apologize to my colleagues, many of whom I have offended,” Stark began. He then apologized to “the president and his family” and “the troops.”
“I hope that with this apology, I return to being as insignificant as I should be,” he concluded though a voice cracking with emotion. …-

Liberals: There Could Still Be A Federal Election Soon
To hear the Liberals tell it, there won’t be an election any time soon. But to hear maverick member Garth Turner give the same news, the announcement is only a few weeks away. How is that possible?
It all follows last week’s Throne Speech, which Grit boss Stephane Dion tore apart but vowed he would grudgingly support with an amendment that was designed to fail.
So far, everything was going according to plan. And then Tory-turned-Grit Turner let slip a bombshell that’s leading many to wonder whether we’re safe from a fall vote after all.
“We have an opposition day next week,” he reveals. “We have the opportunity of putting forward a motion that will call into question the confidence in the government. We have that possibility. And so I think right now we’re trying to determine if this is the right thing to do.”
Does he think it is? His answer speaks volumes. “I still believe that we are going to have an election in the next few weeks.”
The move, if it happens, seems to be in direct contradiction to what Dion said so publicly in a sometimes rambling 45 minute rebuttal last week. Why introduce a motion to bring down the government when the party itself is abstaining from voting on the Throne Speech or its crime bill? It’s hard to answer that question, but the Liberals insist all options are on the table. “I’m the deputy leader,” answers Michael Ignatieff. “I have to have heard of it. No, we’re considering our strategy. We’re not here to roll over, let me tell you.”

No, we will naturally resume our position of governances, so loved by Canadians, just as soon as we get rid of Dion.
THIS JUST IN…STEPHANE DION IS ILL….
Patient Name: Stephane Dion Diagnosis: Electile dysfunction
Electile dysfunction (ED or (male) impotence) is a fear based dysfunction characterized by the inability to develop or maintain an election of the caucus. There are various underlying causes, such as extreme fear of losing elections which are medically treatable.
The causes of electile dysfunction may be physiological or psychological. Physiologically, elections are based upon blood entering and being retained in the brain, and there are various ways in which this can be impeded, most of which are amenable to treatment. Psychological impotence is where election or winning fails due to thoughts or feelings (psychological reasons) rather than physical impossibility; this can often be helped. Notably in psychological impotence there is a very strong placebo effect.
Electile dysfunction, tied closely as it is to cultural notions of potency, success and masculinity, can have devastating psychological consequences including feelings of shame, loss or inadequacy; especially when faced with an opponent that is superior, more masculine and smarter. There is a strong culture of silence and inability to discuss the matter among Liberals. In fact around 9 in 10 Liberals will experience recurring election problems at some point in their lives.[1]
Folk remedies have long been advocated, with some being advertised widely since the 1930s. The introduction of the first pharmacological approved remedy for impotence, Bourbon & Scotch in the 1990s caused a wave of public attention, propelled in part by heavy indulgence among Liberals.
The Latin term impotentia liberali describes simple inability to insert the caucus lies into the main stream media. It is now mostly replaced by more precise terms. The study of electile dysfunction within medicine is covered by psychiatric under the terms absolute fear and cowardice.

Caroline Glick, Our World: Shari’a-friendly investments
Essential to the aims of the jihadists is the Muslim sacrament of zakat. Zakat, one of the pillars of Islam, requires Muslims to donate 2.5 percent of their incomes to charity. As the indictment in the Holyland Foundation case showed, most of the money that the five defendants transferred to Hamas was transferred through zakat committees in Palestinian cities in Judea, Samaria and Gaza. These committees then transferred the monies to Hamas terrorists, their family members, political leaders and terror cells.
…
THE ESTABLISHMENT of charitable front organizations is merely one of many ways in which jihadist groups have raised funds. Today terror analysts fear that a new means has been found to skirt anti-terror laws and finance terror while rendering the financial systems of the West vulnerable to Islamic manipulation and control. The fear is that through the burgeoning presence of Shari’a-compliant investment houses, jihadist groups and financiers will be able to raise enormous sums of money to fund their nefarious activities aimed at global domination.

The Fundamentals of Faith
The Times Online describes a momentary misunderstanding.
The children of Che Guevara, the revolutionary pin-up, had been invited to Tehran University to commemorate the 40th anniversary of their father’s death and celebrate the growing solidarity between “the left and revolutionary Islam” at a conference partly paid for by Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan president.
But then one of the speakers, Hajj Saeed Qassemi, the co-ordinator of the Association of Volunteers for Suicide-Martyrdom (who presumably remains selflessly alive for the cause), revealed that Che was a “truly religious man who believed in God and hated communism and the Soviet Union”.
Che’s daughter Aleida wondered if something might have been lost in translation. “My father never mentioned God,” she said, to the consternation of the audience. “He never met God.” During the commotion, Aleida and her brother were led swiftly out of the hall and escorted back to their hotel. “By the end of the day, the two Guevaras had become non-persons. The state-controlled media suddenly forgot their existence,” the Iranian writer Amir Taheri noted.
After their departure, Qassemi went on to claim that Fidel Castro, the “supreme guide” of Guevara, was also a man of God. “The Soviet Union is gone,” he affirmed. “The leadership of the downtrodden has passed to our Islamic republic. Those who wish to destroy America must understand the reality and not be clever with words.”
The deluded Guevara children are mistaken. Qassemi is correct. The sole remaining basis of Marxism from this point forward is no longer Dialectical Materialism. Not the Labor Theory of Value. Nor the principle of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat. In fact nobody knows what any of these things means any longer except for some old codgers leafing through tattered volumes at the Revolution Bookstore. They are unimportant now. Nobody believes them any more. Nothing is important any longer but revenge — vengeance for all showing up all the lies in the 100 odd years in which Marxism tried to rule the world. Vengeance for the ridicule showered on all Marxism’s fevered dreams. Vengeance for unmasking the Worker’s Paradise as nothing but the Year Zero with press release. Vengeance however long, and under whatever guise. Allah Akbar! …-
