  1. I find it hard to believe any Canadian wishes the government to negotiate with the Taliban. Of course, the BBC article isn’t going to make headlines in Canada, is it? Neither will a reporter dare question Taliban Jack’s asininity.

  2. What amazes me about Smilin’ Jack is not that he would push the idea of negotiations. He’s a socialist politician, there’s nothing he wouldn’t do to score points. No policy too dumb, no lie too ugly.
    What gets me is that he keeps pushing even though it isn’t working for him. He doesn’t get the whole New Media thing, he seems to think the MSM is all there is. This horse isn’t just dead, its mummified. But there’s Jack, beating it for all he’s worth in the hopes its going to get up and pull his little red wagon.
    Jack’s not just a commie, he’s an INCOMPETENT commie.

    There’s just something about the idea wheeling a canister the size of a ’69 Cadillac out the back of a C-130 and watching it glide down onto the Taliban hideout, then riding out the shockwave… now THAT is negotiation!

  5. Those bleeding heart left-wingers are so afraid of standing up for what is right that they will negotiate with anyone, even if they are cold-blooded killers of women and little girls. It does not matter to them that the Taliban are not interested in anything less than being in charge of a draconian society in which woman have no place.
    Nobody likes war and bloodshed, but sometimes it is necessary. One thing that these leftist sympathizers fail to realize is that we are a free and open society today because of the sacrifices made by previous generations.

  7. It amazes me that so many people see stuff like this and decide that we shouldn’t be there and it’s all our fault.
    I see this as a reinforcement of my position that the taliban are evil sub-human garbage in need of a slow, painful death. It reinforces the concept that we are on the right side and that the afghan victims of these vermin are in need of protection.
    But then I’m not a leftard with a broken moral compass.

Watching Question Period … Dipper’s Slick-say just introduced for consideration a bill allowing ‘contientious objectors’ to have their taxes that would normally go to support the Canadian Forces into a special, non-military fund. GOOD GRIEF, CHARLIE BROWN!!! I’d love a special account for lawyers to get after those idiots who squeal every time someone voices an opinion other than theirs.
