Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

The photo is from the opening days of the war in Afghanistan.
Yes, it is not new, but still impressive.

…another angle gives better perspective.
Wow.
That’s some kick ass flying.
When you see that kind of thing it just makes you realize the kind of people you have definding us.
Then you compare that to the MSM and campus lefties and wonder why they do it. Damn good thing they do.
Yep, it is an old photo but well worth a look. BTW: that just isn’t good flying on the pilot’s part. It is a team effort with the loadmaster/engineer talking the pilot down and into place. There is a lot of skill, trust and confidence needed in that kind of flying. I’m glad they are on our side.

Congrats again to the blogosphere for picking up the MSM’s dropped ball. These and other incredible acts of bravery are to be celebrated and respected, not ignored in favor of stories and images diminishing the sacrifices these young men and women make every day.
Is it too strong to accuse the MSM and the left in general as traitors and propagandists for the enemy? It is what I seem to witness almost daily.
“Is it too strong to accuse the MSM and the left in general as traitors and propagandists for the enemy?”
C.O. Yes far too strong. Myself along with many fellow Liberals understand the war on terror and admire as well as support our brave troops.
Unforunately, conservative blogs paint Liberal pictures with far too wide paint brushes. Blindly not taking into account lefties like myself who have a social conscience as well as the brainpower and confidence to understand the strengths of conservatism.
KoAL,thanks for an intelligent response.
I too hate the absolutes thrown around in the name of partisanship.Hopefully you noticed my terminology’left in general’as an attempt to not generalize ALL lefties.(An easy trap to fall prey to)
I would be interested in hearing if you accept as fact what most here believe about the MSM(for the most part)being anti-right,anti-Harper/Bush and blinded by political correctness in our current war(s) against terror.
Left Liberal leadership candidate, “Where’s the Puck?” Ken Dryden, says: We, and my “Big Canada” platform, will get the puck out of Afstan.
