Fire At Caledonia

Caledonia Wakeup Call on events as they reportedly evolved this evening;

10:50 Confirmed through police source that 6 native were hurt – 4 taking away to hospital.
9:35 – Hi Gary got your email at 8.17 was at DCE by 8.32 the flames were out but a lot of Fire Trucks, saw 2 Ambulances leaving heading for Hagersville. Do you think now the natives will Sue the government because they allowed them to stay in stolen houses that are not safe ? sure wouldn’t surprise me.
9:20 – Six Nations Police and OPP were not permitted to enter DCE land – no police allowed on this land – Wild West Times and complete lawlessness.
9:10 – Don’t forget that this is a crime scene and again there were 3 injured people that now the crime cannot be investigated because the OPP/Six Nations did not and could not secure the crime scene again.
8:50 – I back on to DCE and yes there was in fact a fire. I have just heard that there was an explosion in one of the homes and 3 are wounded and 2 are down. I saw there were a ton of Oshweken firetrucks, and two ambulances.
As of 7:40 pm one home on the DCE land is currently on fire. Natives are on the roof, chopping away at the roof. Scanners report that Natives have told Six Nations Police not to show up

Checking both CBC and CTV, there’s no sign of this item on either website.
The Hamilton Spectator now has the story. Along with Jane Stewart’s salary and expense allowance as “lead negotiator” for the McGuinty government. And, worth every penny of it, she is.
Update – from “Native News”, via CWC;

One day after we heard that there were intentions to finish some of the unfinished homes on the reclamation site in Caledonia, trouble has found its way back to the disputed territory. A fire was set in one of the homes, allegedly by someone who was staying in the home, after they were asked to leave so that the house could be worked on. The person that was staying there said that they had been staying there from the start and that it was their home. They also said that they would set it on fire if they were forced to leave.

  1. Not paying taxes would be a great idea, however, we aren’t Indians and we would lose our whole kit and kaboodle, everything we’ve worked for, the govs would come after us with the LAW in toe. Our laws are not applicable to the Indians. If we ALL quit paying taxes, it would force them into action,but it won’t happen.
    There is however something very insidious afoot with the thuggery and boorish behaviour of the Natives. They are self destructing. They have lost our sympathy and our respect. As long as they are acting like low-life thugs/terrorists we should not be bound by any Treaties and stop tossing them money. We need a Government with a spine and guts to deal with them, YESTERDAY!

  2. I must agree with those above who state “it is time for the Federal Government to take action. That action is to move in with the army and goal the Indian criminals. They deserve to be treated without compassion. Tough action is long overdue – Please, Prime Minister Harper, move quickly on this before many lives are lost.
