Calling Rachel Corrie!

India is accelerating the construction of a 2,500-mile fence to seal its border with its Muslim neighbor, Bangladesh. Didnt the International Court of Justice say (to Israel) that such passive security measures were illegal and much more objectionable than oh, say, sending suicide- bombers to play at weddings and bar mitzvahs?

More here.

  1. This is really too much. “Calling Rachel Corrie!”. Have you no sense of decency? The poor American woman was crushed under a bulldozer and to you it is a clever headline??? Excuse me?
You live in SK for crying out loud. Have you ever even been to Israel? Do you have any idea how offensive your headline would be to any Israeli on the left or on the right?
Please, change the headline and try to think for yourself instead of trying to perform for some sofa Samurai in Washington, DC.

  2. “You live in SK for crying out loud. Have you ever even been to Israel?”
Yeah, Kate!! Don’t you know that if you haven’t been there you have no right to talk about it. No jokes must ever be made at the expense of someone who didn’t know how to move out of the way of a 5mph, bright yellow, extremely loud giant of a machine.
Craig is right, and he’s obviously been to Israel because he knows what all Israelis would find offensive.
Next you’ll be crackin’ some wise assed comment about human shields protecting Saddam from the hangman, or Iraqis from the suicide “freedom fighters”.
What kind of jerks is Saskatchewan raising?

  3. Craig,
Excuse me?? Excuse yourself you sorry piece of Scheie.
The “poor American woman” you refer to was a sexually repressed suicide bomber than didn’t have the “balls” (or ballbearings and nails perhaps) to strap a belt around her waist. No more, no less. Good riddance. I don’t see your point about Jews, left or right, either. But then again, I’m from SK just like you and I don’t know nuthin’ anyways.

  4. Was Craig her boyfriend or something .. he sounds like he was pretty hung up on her .. Little over the top on defending whatever she was up for … night night

  5. Human pancakes make great human shields! (Or so I’m told). Does anyone know if this woman won a Darwin Award for her actions?
Regarding the fence, good on the Indians for taking their border security seriously! Hopefully its heavily patrolled though because an 8-ft fence is not that hard to breach. (Key parts are electrified though, that should keep intruders off).

  6. I’m not sure I get the point here. The difference between India and Israel is that India’s border with Bangladesh is not contested.

  7. Muslim inbreeding : Its just a nicer emotional feel., says Neila Butt.[Eh, cuz?]
British MP: Ban Inbreeding Before It’s Too Late
Mind-blowing statistics on the horrible effects of Muslim inbreeding in Britain, from The Telegraph: Ban Asian marriages of cousins, says MP. (Hat tip: Alex.)
Marriages between cousins should be banned after research showed alarming rates in defective births among Asian communities in Britain, a Labour MP said last night.
The report, commissioned by Ann Cryer, revealed that the Pakistani community accounted for 30 per cent of all births with recessive disorders, despite representing 3.4 per cent of the birth rate nationwide.
We address problems of smoking, drinking, obesity and we say its a public health issue, therefore we have to get involved with persuading people to adopt a different lifestyle, the MP for Keighley, Bradford, told BBC2s Newsnight programme last night.
I think this should be applied to the Asian community. They must look outside the family for husbands and wives for their young people.
It is estimated that more than 55 per cent of British Pakistanis are married to first cousins, resulting in an increasing rate of genetic defects and high rates of infant mortality. The likelihood of unrelated couples having the same variant genes that cause recessive disorders are estimated to be 100-1. Between first cousins, the odds increase to as much as one in eight.
In Bradford, more than three quarters of all Pakistani marriages are believed to be between first cousins. The citys Royal Infirmary Hospital has identified more than 140 different recessive disorders among local children, compared with the usual 20-30.
The findings were expected to be condemned by the Asian community, in which many see the tradition of marriages between first cousins as culturally fundamental.
You have an understanding, you have the same family history, said Neila Butt, who has had two children with her husband, Farooq, her first cousin. Its just a nicer emotional feel. >>>

Well, the Indians are apparently smarter than us folks in the West. Muslim populations are contesting and demanding their own “areas” in Thailand, northern India, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philipines, to name a few countries. It seems prudent that with the radicalization of segments of the Bangladeshi population (with generous funding from the Wahabis), India is thoughtfully being proactive. Coming soon to a European country near you!

  9. Craig,
Thanks for the first laugh of my morning.
Mark Steyn had a nice article about Rachel Corrie and the stage show about her.

Yes, we must feel for all the idiots who place themselves in danger to make a stupid point. Kind of like the payoff to svend for damages suffered during a riot.
It is such a tiny jump from pitying this poor fool to feeling for the “martyrs” who committed 9/11.
    enough

  10. “The difference between India and Israel is that India’s border with Bangladesh is not contested.”
That seemed a little too good to be true, so googled “Bangladesh border dispute” and got 438,000 hits
CIA fact book: “discussions with India remain stalled to delimit a small section of river boundary, exchange 162 miniscule enclaves in both countries, allocate divided villages, and stop illegal cross-border trade, migration”
Maybe getting better, but the border is still ‘contested’

  11. Craig:
Good riddance to Rachel Corrie, and no one will remember what she allegedly died for in 15 years. They will know, however, what a bunch of crooks and thugs Yasser Arafat and his ilk were and are.

AMMAN, Jordan (AP) – An audiotape purportedly from the head of al-Qaida in Iraq Friday threatened to kill Jordan’s King Abdullah II and bomb more hotels and tourist sites. The speaker on the tape, identified as Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, also said the group’s suicide bombers did not intend to bomb a Jordanian wedding party at an Amman hotel last week, killing about 30 people. Al-Zarqawi said the bomber who detonated his explosives in the Radisson SAS hotel on Nov. 9 was targeting a hall where he claimed Israeli and American intelligence officials were meeting. That bomb caused part of the… >>>>

AT least 200,000 people marched though the centre of the Jordanian capital Amman overnight in a mass show of anger at the triple suicide bombings this month that left 59 dead, police and organisers said. Many protestors shouted slogans against Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the Jordanian militant whose group claimed the blast, chanting, “Zarqawi, from Amman, we say to you: you are a coward.” Brandishing banners with the names of their tribes and which pledged their loyalty to King Abdullah II, the demonstrators appeared to have come from every corner of the country. It was by far the largest show of.. >>>
