Two Years House Arrest

Some questions about the refusal of the Supreme Court to revisit the sentence of a Saskatchewan man convicted of sexually assaulting a 12 year old Indian girl.

Where is the real justice when it comes to aboriginal girls and women? asked Beverley Jacobs, president of the Native Womens Association of Canada and a lawyer by training. What kind of sentence is that?”
The impact of these cases sends a huge message out to society by saying its OK – Its OK to sexually assault a 12-year-old..

Here’s another.
Why was there no investigation conducted after dna testing found that the semen on her panties was a “probable match” to that of her father?
(Injusticebusters has a collection of old news items on this case.)

  1. Does it seem to anyone like “2 years of curfew” is the new “time out”??? It’s the latest fix-all from the liberal judiciary.
    1. Apparently, it’s appropriate, in this case for sexual assault on a child. (My guess is that the child wasn’t related to the judge).
    2. Same goes for stealing millions of Canadians’ tax dollars with the help of Liberal buddies.
    3. Also appropriate for murder, as in the BC woman that murdered her married lover by stabbing him in the crotch when she found he was also cheating with someone else.
It’s like a flat-tax sort of deal from the courts. Break the law? Grounded! 2 years! Done!

  2. Rob, go read some of the Injusticebusters material. While the three men in this case behaved like scum, they behaved like scum after picking up the child outside a bar who told them she was 14.
Tell me now, in a country where the NDP and Liberals staunchly defend this “I’m fourteen- fuck me!” policy on the basis of “protecting puppy-love”, where no one seems ready to tackle head on the fact that this child was at risk because of years of abuse by her own family, because they are Indian – why does it surprise anyone that two of the scumzoids were acquitted by a local jury and another did his sentence at home in front of the TV?
(That ought to get the comments rocking….)

  3. Well said, Kate. It’s clear that because the left’s quest to be all things to all people (unless you lean to the political right) they have befriended the absolute scum of the earth. After all, who is a pedophile more likely to vote for?
But don’t DARE suggest that because Svend Robinson was advocating to have the age of consent lowered, he has an alterior motive.

  4. Lewis Carrol claimed: “The law is an ass!” (That was before the denizens of Ottawa got hold of it.)

  5. Svend Robinson advocated to have the age of consent for homosexuals lowered–to the same as that of heterosexuals. See how one extra fact can blow a Svend-hating homophobe out of the water?

  6. Dawg,
If the motive is so innocent, then why would he not advocate the raising of the age of consent for hetero-teens to even the bar, instead of lower the homo age of consent?

  7. Shabbadoo:
“Dawg, If the motive is so innocent, then why would he not advocate the raising of the age of consent for hetero-teens to even the bar, instead of lower the homo age of consent?”
    One word: NAMBLA

  8. Love the Liberals “puppy love” defense. Were they reaching or what? Bunch of sissy cowards.

  9. My daughter is 15. She thinks the age of consent is 16 and I’m not telling her any differently. I am lobbying for it to be raised to 16.

  10. If I ran the country there would be the death penalty for any adults having intercourse with pre-teens, regardless of their cultural or financial background. Especially fathers with their 12 year old daughters and younger
And spouses who know about it and let it happen would get a life sentence if not the same.
House arrest isn’t even shocking to hear about anymore with this liberal justice system… things are that bad.

  11. My kids will KNOW that the ‘legal’ age of consent is irrelevant – because they’ll have to deal with dad if they don’t wait until marriage. No law will be necessary for them, because I’ll take responsibility for them. (I ‘almost’ pity those who date my kids – oh well, what doesn’t kill them will make them stronger, and more worthy, of my kids)

  12. All four people in this case are low-lifes. My 18-year-old son wouldn’t pick up a 12-year-old kid soliciting a ride while sitting on the steps outside a pub. My 12-year-old daughter wouldn’t be sitting on the pub steps accepting rides from three 18-year-olds. What enrages me is that we are paying the costs of a stupid case like this. I don’t even want to hear about what idiots like this do.
