Running behind…

Apologies for not getting the Small Dead Blog Award voting up yet — I’ve been bogged down with a few personal items last night and this morning. I’m working on the voting post now and should have it done soonish (sometime today).

  1. What’s the delay are you having trouble finding a cute skinny chick with big tits to hand out the awards?
Forget the awardings .. self love and admiration should take place in front of a mirror only. Leave the awards to hollywood and the main stream all of whom are shameless.
All you will accomplish by this kind of action is to direct people who can’t think for themselves, to believing the pols.
This is fluff and irrelivant. We can decide which blogs are worth reading and which aren’t and remember Paul Simon said it best. “one man’s ceiling is another man’s floor”

  2. Most Tasteless Comment Ever: Kate Moss is missing.>>>>>>>

  3. Duke: Is Paul Simon the avatar of blogosphere wisdom?
The Rolling Stones also said: “Im free to choose who I see any old time”.

  4. Mark, or is that a smudge?
Paul simon was a wimpy folk singer with a weak voice who wrote some really good songs with some pretty good messages. Too bad you never heard of him. His is not an avatar.
Now tell me Smudge, what has that got to do with the topic of silly awards?
    Any idea at all?

  5. You can’t have a poll here. Only polls officially sanctioned by the state are allowed in Canada, and voting is mandatory. The Department of Mental Hygene reports that volitional polls aren’t good for you, they lead to chatting.

  6. I hear you Tony,
Let me be clear, I am a bit bored and a ball buster by nature. I like to get people pissed. When they are pissed they become entertaining. Sort of like giving them a drug to perk them up … get their heart rate up …. this sometimes leads to thinking AND chatting.
    Cheers,

  7. Aye, there’s the rub Duke. As the progressives say, Thinking is the Opiate of the Masses. Of course, I’m against the war on drugs anyway.
A thinking citizenry scares the daylights out of the progressives, that’s why lefty lurkers periodically break out one of their Trolling Against Chatting campaigns. You know how it goes, free speech until you disagree with them; then they accuse you racism, or capitalism, or chatting.
It becomes funny, in a way, to watch them blow a gasket when one dares writing about thinking about chatting about thinking. I’d suggest a thoughful poll on the matter, but why feed the Trolling Against Volitional Polling campaign?

  8. Hey! General Rick Hillier, (Chief of Defense Staff), is taking a new dog & pony show to Afganistan.
