  1. Two things kate. You should have blogads and put up a Paypal donate. Why not??

  2. elections.ca is posting the Lab results online. So far only 100 votes counted (lol)

  3. Kudus to Kate! (And all of the other folks who make her blog so interesting to read!) Kate’s cheque is in the mail, (PM the PM promised-AFTER the next election, of course.)

  4. Katie, I don’t believe a word of it, I don’t believe any polls, there is too much money and power in it. There is a logical explanation why some of these Blogs have a reduction in readership, once the message is out, the reader only return periodically to catch up on what they already know, or suspect is the “rest of the story”, and though during times of “emergency” there are more readers, however the Blogs are where the story is, and the paper print and the TV media is a sunset industry regardless of what their so-called “polls” say. All the statistics point towards that. Newspapers that are delivered to the door are in the main used to wrap fish, and very seldom read, if everyday. However your well appreciated Blog is here to stay, some Blogs will go, as some Community papers have failed, and it is explainable with so many many Blogs on line that basically tell the same story, so the trusted Blogs are read more consistantly while the not so popular Blogs will fall by the way side. Canada is too small to support too many Blogs as it is too small to support too many of the print media, and TV media and until all these Bloggers settle down to their “WATER LEVELS”, polling of the Blogs are a useless excercise. The only polling of the Blogs that make sense are the Blogs that are asking their posters to comment on their “favorite” Blog, the rest of this so-called Blog polling is just more propoganda with aspersions, that the Blogs are in trouble, but for the wrong reasons. ( Too many of them )One just has to look at the humungous problem that the US of A media is having, both in print, and in their TV Media, they are all sliding down hill real fast, and eventually will become no more than a bad dream. The way I see it.

  5. ctv just declared Libs winner, but right after that it went from 58% lib to 50% lib…hmmm only 50% counted so far

  6. on the bright side, there may have at least been more voters out this time… sigh… WHY don’t those libs stay home?

  7. I guess the voters in Labrador don’t have internet access, or television, or radio, or telephones, or two tin cans and a string. Else the by-election would have turned out differently.
Of course, maybe brains (lack thereof) is the common denominator here…

  8. Liberals win in Labrador
I have come to the conclusion that the Liberals could requisition the first-born of every family east of the Manitoba/Ontario border, with the exception of Quebec, and the sheeple would still vote for them.
    Long live ignorance and clientism!
No use is fighting it. I am now converting to clientism myself. The Natural Governing Party deserves our first born to save Canada. Anyway, the conservatives are “too scary and they clearly have a hidden agenda that is against the core Canadian values of hegemony and payola.
OBTW, since there arent any rules for the rulers, I am adopting the same strategy myself comrade

  9. The media condescends with a singular voice. It is up to the populist to prove them wrong. The entire basis of cabal power rests upon the apathy of a perceived inevitability. As long as a fictitious legitimacy is never disputed, the plutocrats extend their rule.
The fight has just begun. Keep the faith

  10. My Canada, due to Forceable Confinement(they won’t let you leave), does Not include the Librano$, and I will Resist to the very end to see that happen, even if it includes the Breakup of the country…..Period

  11. As a former resident of Goose Bay/ Happy Valley- all those yuppies you see on the ‘tube are GOVERNMINT FLUNKIES, ( that’s the only industry up there). ZOMBIFIED GOVERNMENT FLUNKIES! Waddya expect?

  12. Congrats Kate! I’ve been a reader since around about Aug/Sep ’04 and I’ve been real pleased to see a hot babe like you doing real well!
One item about their blog stats is that I couldn’t find either Daily Kos or Democratic Underground, which as I understand it, are very well read down south. That’s too bad, cuz’ I’d like to see how much their readership has fallen since their election defeat!
P.S. – What’s up with the new pic? Looks good, just wunderin’, that’s all!

  13. Congrats to you, Kate. Speaking of bloggers, what’s up with Andrew and Matt? I’ve been getting a “403 Blogger not found” error on Matts blog within the past few hours. Did he trash his site?

  14. Kate, congratulations! May your blog prosper as a beacon of free speech.

  15. Congratulations -your popularity does not surprise me as I come here first for the news (REAL news) of the day. I am never disappointed. Thank-you for being here for the rest of us.

  16. Well, thankyou – but I have to give credit where it’s due – to the readers and other bloggers who send me tips. I wish I could use them all, or had the resources to investigate some of the more complicated ones, but they are the ones responsible for much of my content!
