Break Them Up

The DOJ, along with a number of states have filed an antitrust suit against Google.

The federal suit, filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, alleges Google violated the Sherman Act with its search monopoly. The DOJ is seeking to stop Google from engaging in the anticompetitive behavior that has resulted in “harmful effects,” and asks the court to “enter structural relief as needed to cure any anticompetitive harm” along with other potential remedies. On a press call Tuesday, Justice Department officials declined to detail what “structural relief” could mean in this case.

Speaking of Google…

  1. Ding ding ding, we finally have a winner. Duck Duck Go shows images of happy white women. Google shows mixed couples. The difference is stark.

    Bang. Nailed ’em.

    1. Yes I just compared Google with Duck Duck Go and as far as Google is concerned almost the only happy white women are those with black men and biracial babies. Now I have nothing against White/Black marriages or biracial children but this is just plain scary. Googles message to White women is that they can only be happy pregnant and mother to the children of Black men.

      1. google has been doctoring image search results for many years.

they have been showing white women with black men or with mulatto babies for at least 10 years.

it is social engineering and racism at the same time.

        1. its just like tv adds, particularly on CBC. It all mixed race with the odd token white person. And JT wants to see more of it.

        1. Not true. About 25% of black Americans have felony convictions. Even if everyone of that 25% were men (which it isn’t) lots of black men are working, married, and raising families.
Don’t buy into stereotypes which are mostly spread by the left to portray blacks as helpless victims.

          1. If they’re voting for Joe Biden (or Juthtin the weirdo) then they’re not helpless, they’re purposeful in their victimization.

    2. Bing also shows images of happy white women (and not with black lovers). Screw Google, I haven’t used it in at least a couple of years.

    3. Stop whining about Google. Use the competition.
Stopped using google years ago. Have not missed it.

      1. butt timmy, google and fakebook have not quit using you, and your information. They harvest and mine information of people who have never ever used them

    4. Yup. According to Google, white women are only happy when with non-white men. Duckduckgo showed individual happy white women but interestingly when I put the words “Happy White Woman” in the search box, it tried to re-direct me to Happy Wine Woman.

  2. “Late you come, but still you come”.. Jeffrey Toobin jokes aside…but what in the hell were they waiting for initially when they had both houses.
Seems like Barr is throwing Trump a bone. Kind of a “What?? You say the horse has left the barn??!!?? Let’s lock the door!!!”

  3. The platform monopolies are much like the railroad and canal monopolies of the past.
There were other means of transport from point A to point B, but the railway and canal companies had effective monopolies on their routes.
That was deemed potentially unfair to competitors and most notably potentially unfair to customers. The monopolies could unfairly discriminate against customers or unfairly prefer customers. Under the Railway and Canal Traffic Act, 1854, “The railways were already considered to be Common Carriers and thus subject to the Carriers Act of 1830, but the 1854 Act placed additional obligations on the railways due to their monopoly status. Each railway company was now required to take all trade offered and to set and publish the same levels of fares to all in respect of any particular service.”
I know this is a solution that was developed by “dead white men”, acting in pursuit of world dominance for Western Civilization, but it worked then and I think would work now too.

    1. Yeah they show black victims and white racists.
This is what makes monsters like Timothy McVeigh snap.

  4. At least Google has informed me that my niece is very happy with her husband (which I already knew)

  5. I hardly ever use Google anymore. I got the same results as mentioned above (Google & DuckDuckGo).
Also checked Startpage.com and Qwant.com. Qwant had same results as DuckDuckGo, and Startpage showed same pics as Google.
I took screenshots of all, just for my own future reference.

  6. I will take a wager that there is really someone out there much smarter than these guys, who managed to enrich themselves off this tech. Those guys will find a way to destroy the other guys. Whether or not they will be better, as in freedom oriented, or worse, is anyone’s guess. But as many of my peers have said, very few left, nothing remains the same and what you see is never what it seems.

  7. It’s because you specified white woman.
Ordinarily white women don’t get described as “white”, unless in mixed racial company

  8. This is exactly what I was afraid of. Antitrust legislation isn’t the way to go about this, since Google 1) doesn’t have a monopoly on search, 2) even if they did, isn’t acting in a monopolistic fashion and 2a) couldn’t even if they wanted to. This is going to be a fabulous waste of time and money that’s going to distract from the real issue.
