    1. rd, You might convince me on some other aspects of these posts, statements, and accusations, but I can assure you that Beck was never in league with Soros, indeed, one of Soros’s people told Beck that the new world order was locked in, and Beck should join that ship as it was about to sail, he refused to join or assist them. I was a big fan, but soured somewhat a year or two after he left Fox, but I did subscribe to his Blaze network, and still do. He was so right about most things that are finally presenting themselves now, how he missed the reality with Trump, I am at a loss to understand. Whether genuine or not, I’m glad he has stepped up and made a public apology, it does take courage to do that publicly, but he had his change of mind about Trump about a year ago. Not sure why it took so long to step up right now, perhaps the writing on the wall of a Trump re election in November. No matter, he is on the right side of things. Our side. The religion I could care less about, as I’m an a lifelong atheist, but respect others rights in their beliefs.

  1. I speak Beckinese…let me help with the translation:

“Holy Cow!!! I lost a sh*t load of dough when Blaze subscribers left me in droves because they weren’t buying my anti Trump B.S.
My descent into near bankruptcy and subsequent merger forced me to rethink my position concerning Trump and by extension, how best to put steak back on the Beck family dinner menu.
Oh, almost forgot, you know that thingy when I said Trump supporters were like “Hitler’s Brownshirts” and Trump was like Putin? Sorry about that…my bad.”

    Forgive? Of course.
    Forget? Hard pass

    1. Bingo Burton. I used to listen to Becks show a lot.

I never found him to be intellectually dishonest.

Until Trump, and then it was embarrassingly transparent. It was not a mistake.

I’d add that Becks apology comes at a time when the momentum and a trump victory is looking likely enough that Beck has decided to hedge his bets.

      1. He’s been changed about Trump for well over two years as I listened to him every morning before Sirius diddled their Patriot channel line up to hell. He was all in for Cruz and I think he, like a lot of others , figured Trump was just a flash in the pan and not a real contender. But even when I started to think Trump wasn’t too bad and a lot of what he said was pretty ,shall we say, a little more DIRECT then your usual politician I still thoroughly enjoyed Beck’s show just for the history lessons and reports on a lot of things like breaking up child prostitution rings around the world.

  2. The apology and the additional voice of support is nice, but the trust won’t return. If Ann Coulter were to apologize to President Trump I would say the same thing after her apology.

  3. The United States is the predominant bankrupt welfare state intentionally steering into an inevitable date with inflation that could make 1973 to 1982 look like a picnic with or without Trump as POTUS. He only looks spectacular when he is compared to the totally deranged, evil, corrupt, and significantly more statist, Democrats.

I used to like watching Beck before he seemed to have emotional breakdowns with regularity.

  4. When Beck relocated to Texas and established the Blaze Network we found it behind a pay wall. I did not subscribe but read his book “Broke: The Plan to Restore Our Trust, Truth and Treasure.” It seemed accurate and prophetic.

It was a shock to learn Beck was not a Trump supporter. Here was someone who likely read his book. Why the doubt from Beck? It was a puzzle. Of course, one can’t trust a politician so why trust a businessman. Let’s give Beck that.

Turns out Trump became the “jobs” President. Nice that Beck has now seen the light. Perhaps he could write another book and tell us about it. Was “Broke” his diary?

  5. All self styled “republicans” and “conservatives” need their feet held to the fire in order to gain out trust. I’m sick of the Colin Powells, Michael Steeles, Ann Coulters, Jeff Flakes, John McCains, etc. They need to be run out of our Party on a rail after being tarred and feathered.

  6. Wasn’t the the one who stuck his face into a bowl of Cheetos on TV?

  7. Glenn Beck, like Mitt Romney, is a Mormon. He opposed president Trump because the cult leadership told him to. (The president, apparently, was bad for recruitment for the cult in Third World hellholes.)

The difference is Glenn isn’t swimming in hedge fund money, and eventually had to choose between complete financial ruin and giving up on telling lies on behalf of the cult. He did the smart thing in the end.

Pity it took him this long to do the right thing.
