I’d add an addendum that the Clintons didn’t just control the Hollywood Money. During the 2016 election Hillary co-opted the entire Democrat Party treasury. Read how Donna Brazille categorized it. Hillary was controlling the entire purse and if you weren’t doing what she wanted, none of that sweet DNC cash came your way. They still haven’t figured out what happened to a $35 million check that came up through Haiti…
Additionally, you sort of brushed against the major failing of the current administration. They didn’t put any heads on the pike at the front gate of the castle. Even a low level bureaucrat would have been preferable to allowing the DOJ to, essentially, brush it all under the carpet. They needed to set an example early to gain future cooperation and stop the blatant obvious “resistance.”
That being said, there are currently 16 or 17 criminal requests issued by the House Committee to the DOJ. What they do with them is still up in the air. We all saw them allow McCabe and Brennan to run out the statute of limitations clock on some of their nefarious deeds. Both of those guys still have exposure. The question is whether Barr wants to truly hand out what’s owed….or cover it up in the name of decorum. I’m leaning towards the latter. Otherwise, some very obvious violations of the law would have been addressed already, regardless of the “all important” Durham investigation (s). Here’s the thing…part of any investigation progressing is making arrests to initiate the obtainment of information in order to make other arrests. My impression is that the DOJ is just running out the clock and ALSO hoping for a Biden win.
