    1. Now that is something of more than casual interest. Just who was doing the shooting and why. Did the identified killer have help?

    2. Something I hadn’t considered but it makes sense:
I have heard from a legal source that the reason the RCMP didn’t issue an emergency alert is because they actually thought Wortman was one of their own who’d gone off the rails.

      1. That makes zero sense.
Are you saying they thought of issuing the alert but went “no don’t do it. We will hide these murders and 3 structure fires from the public”.

There’s plenty of issues to pick apart but this idea belongs in the everything is a conspiracy camp.

        1. T-boner, did I write that they were trying to hide it?
          Nope.
What I implied was that they didn’t know WTF was going on because Wortman was thought to be a cop and that might have helped confuse their messaging.
But I really don’t know why they didn’t besides that they’re brutally incompetent and that’s why they’re always getting shot to shit.

          1. Buddy,

            Why insult me?
            “T-boner” seriously?
Doesn’t encourage me to listen to the merits of your argument.

      2. A relative of mine was a civilian who worked for the RCMP.

Her opinion was that most of the officers (all male back then in the 80s / 90s) were violent spousal abusers.

      3. Who says we are no longer ‘tribal’ … it’s in our DNA …it’s why we prefer the company of those who are most like us and why we mistrust foreigners … Which in the case of the Chinese is smart bigotry.

  1. Trudeau is handing out money each and everyday at his press announcements to bolster his image. If Parliament was sitting he’d get tough questions from the opposition.

The Liberals know that there will be a second COVID wave in the fall. We will not have the money to deal with it. Plus there may be many more deaths. They’ll have to really raise taxes. They’ll get clobbered at next election.

What to do? Dole out lots of money, hope we flatten the curve, and then whilst Trudeau’s popularity is high, call a snap election in say July or August.

Their thinking? This would give them approximately five years to recover from wave two of COVID.

The wild card? Will COVID in Quebec turn into a shit show?

    1. Trudeau keeps handing out money while the tax base disappears because of the government lockdown of industry and business. There really is no cure for this level of stupid.

    1. Men who think that women who can actually do something practical and useful might be worthwhile pursuing….. Oh, the horror!

    1. joe, I guess that would be a 40% false positive. Why even bother with the tests if they are that inaccurate?

      1. They could be false positive tests, although I’ve read that the people who have the virus and show no symptoms have passed the virus on to other people.

This has also occurred for other types of flu.

  2. Your Government Is Here For You
Alberta safety inspection of Cargill slaughterhouse done by FaceTime, with no actual inspector on site

    Way to Go, Jason Kenney.
Please explain HOW the Difference between Alberta’s Meat Packing Plants isn’t Only a matter of Degree, Not Kind,
    from China’s Wet Markets.
Who, I ASK, is going to get this in the Neck other than the Ranchers and the Consumers?
Last year, I could only afford to eat Beef steak twice. And the ridiculous cost of Beef is only because of Gang Green.

Health and safety inspection of Alberta meat plant linked to 515 COVID-19 cases was done by video call
    https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/ohs-cargill-inspection-high-river-covid-outbreak-death-meat-processing-1.5539263
“Now, just under a week after that call, one person is dead and 515 people are sick with COVID-19 due to the outbreak at the Cargill facility near High River. The facility announced Monday it would temporarily shut down as soon as it has finished processing the meat already in the plant.”
Better cook your meat extra well done Westerners.

    1. We can just get our meat from China. I’m surprised we don’t yet.

You may have noticed that Canadian Businesses, the Canadian Liberal Government and their Media have allowed foodstuff from China to proliferate by DELIBERATELY HIDING the origins of the food.

Once again,Canadians are lied to and deceived.
Which, let’s face it, really doesn’t matter.
It is obvious that Canadians will docilely skip to the gallows.

I couldn’t think less of Canadians collectively if they were weekly travelers to Jeffie’s pedo island.

For those still with a pulse:

ALWAYS READ THE LABELS ON THE FOODS YOU BUY–NO MATTER WHAT THE FRONT OF THE BOX OR PACKAGE SAYS, TURN IT OVER AND READ THE BACK—CAREFULLY!

With all the food and pet products now coming from China , it is best to make sure you read label at the grocery store and especially Walmart when buying food products.

Many products no longer show where they were made, only give where the distributor is located.

It is important to read the bar code to track it’s origin.

The whole world is concerned about China-made “black hearted goods”.

If the first 3 digits of the barcode are 690 691 or 692, the product is MADE IN CHINA.
471 is Made in Taiwan .
The government and related departments never educate the public, therefore we have to RESCUE ourselves.

Nowadays, Chinese businessmen know that consumers do not prefer products “MADE IN CHINA”, so they don’t show from which country it is made.

Remember if the first 3 digits:

690-692 .. then it is MADE IN CHINA
      00 – 09 .. USA & CANADA
      30 – 37 FRANCE
      40 – 44 GERMANY
      471 … Taiwan
      49 … JAPAN
      50 .. UK

BUY USA & CANADIAN MADE by watching for “0” at the beginning of the number.

      1. 90% of canned apple juice comes from China. We ship them the apples, they can the juice, and ship them back to us. Apparently we can’t can apple juice in Canada. God knows what else they put in the juice.

        1. We hardly grow apples in B. C. any more. A lot of orchards were turned into vineyards because there was more money to be made in the wine business. Most of the apples I buy in the grocery store come from Washington state.

          1. “Most of the apples I buy in the grocery store come from Washington state.”

Mexicans are cheaper in the US. Why don’t they just grow apples in the mountains of Mexico?

    2. As you may know the hygiene at food processing is by its nature quite high.
There are at least half in not more of the work force culture enriching workers that may consider good hygiene at home and at work as something the white racist insist on to keep the oppression over them.

  3. How about another pandemic number. This am the world wide death toll is supposed to be 183,470. Now as a percentage of the world’s population that would be approximately 0.00002% of the population.

    1. A conspiricist might suggest that the globalists and CCP have encouraged this hysterical, economically destructive response to a `pandemic` to screw President Trump. Why the poor WHO response, the secrecy, the advice to NOT wear masks.

  4. Lilley at the Toronto Sun website writes about Blackie’s socks. And according to the National Post, China is upset with Jason Kenney for supporting his friend in Hong Kong who was arrested.

  5. So now that we know the Nova Scotia shooter did not have a firearm license, will Big Chief Gay Eagle With No Balls have the police raid indian reserves for illegal guns and stop gun smuggling from the States to reserves?

    1. They have certainly been slow to release details. Epoch did a short article this morning.

    1. Excellent read and should be sent out to all your contacts to really explain China’s ambition. We, of course, have a pro-China wannabe dictator in Turdope and are in real trouble as our industries die.

The Military-Civil Fusion policy is the most totalitarian of the three prongs. In 2014 and then again in 2017, the party declared that all Chinese companies must collaborate in gathering intelligence. “Any organization or citizen,” reads Article 7 of China’s National Intelligence Law, “shall support, assist with, and collaborate with the state intelligence work in accordance with the law, and keep the secrets of the national intelligence work known to the public.” Chinese companies work alongside universities and research arms of the People’s Liberation Army. Military-Civil Fusion encourages state-owned and private enterprises to acquire companies with advanced technologies, or a strong minority stake in those companies, so that the technologies can be applied for not only economic but also military and intelligence advantage. It fast-tracks stolen technologies to the army in such areas as space, cyberspace, biology, artificial intelligence, and energy. In addition to espionage and cybertheft by the Ministry of State Security, the party tasks some Chinese students and scholars in the U.S. and at other foreign universities and research labs with extracting technology.

  6. This is not going to end well.

Last I heard, the US was printing $5 of debt for every $1 increase in the GDP.
And that was before this flu thingy got started.

Most amusing comment I saw about gubmints creating all this debt is, why bother collecting taxes at all if they can run the country just by doing this?
This is not going to end well.
    But I repeat myself.

    1. Duct tape a plastic cover over the huge fermentation vats and get a compressor suitable for human breathing air. You would only need a tiny fraction of the CO2 from fermentation to put bubbles in beer. I thought they already did this.

    2. When I bottle my beer, I heat some water, stir in some dextrose, and add that to the brew. After two weeks, there’s enough carbon dioxide to produce a head when pouring into a glass.

  7. David Southam comment on little rocket man post earlier this morn is worth reading. “time to get serious”
This was my humble 2 cents..
    DS, I’m largely in agreement.
Where I disagree, I could care less right now.
    We need solutions.
I like to believe that most people of good will, who tack towards free enterprise, free speech etc want to focus on the issues facing us.
Blustering the end is nigh, or this is all a hoax, or launch a udi tomorrow, or burn it all down etc… not realistic, not helpful.
If we end up like Venezuela or Syria we have failed. Perhaps some combo is our ultimate fate, who knows, but why not try to avoid it in the meantime?
    We need solutions.
    We need allies.
Need to focus on practical steps forward.
    Apollo 13 time.
I’m lucky enough to be in an essential service – for now – so I’m off to work.
    Cheers

    Buddy’s Tip:
We seem to be in the midst of a massive theft of existential rights and freedoms.
The anti-property rights cowards will use the NS maniac as a call to disarm everyone despite the reality of the event.
Freedom of assembly has been abolished. You can’t sit on a park bench FFS.
Freedom of speech is being monitored by the feds. First during the election and now with the Wuhan Flu.
The freedom to provide for yourself and your family has been taken away for millions and replaced with a subsistence package that can only last so long. Even the neo-Marxists know that the shit is going to hit the fan when hyper inflation makes a slice of crappy pizza cost 10 bucks.
    Universal Health Care? Gone forever.
Canned entertainment is only going to last so long. Nothing new is being made. Nothing live to see.
Food security? Is it teetering? Plants are closing, others going full steam. In third world countries people are now starving to death by the tens of millions and we have a government that sends PPE to China with a pandemic looming. Think they won’t ship food out of country despite even a slight warning contrary?
The border is open to anyone who can get here.
The press is bought and paid for.
The Prime Minister of Canada is a mental defective sociopath. Those who would keep someone like him in power care nothing for you. Democracy has been “suspended”. They are hiding all types of documents and plans.

Look at trends and how fast they are moving.
The Chicoms have escalated the pace of their power grab. Will the US stop them once they oust DJT?
Each time the elastic gets stretched it doesn’t quite return to its last shape.

Take care of you and yours because nobody else will.
Unless you work for the government, then you’re laughing.

    1. To Quote Claire Wolfe. “Canada is at that awkward stage. Too late to work within the system. Too early to shoot the bastard’s.”
I think the Elites time is almost up. When Deplorables look at their kids and see hunger eventually the SHTF. I think Alberta and Sask unemployment this summer will be up in the 20-30% range.

      1. I think it’s time the men of Canada held to account the real cause of our problems.
        Women voters.
        Voting for the Fool.
        And his hair.

        Time to withhold sex.

    1. The west has become weak, obese and stupid.
It seems we no long value freedom.
Wait until it’s entirely gone then take a survey.
Then tell everyone it’s too late, which is almost already is.
After Trump … it will be too late for certain.

  9. It’s all good. Dr. Feelgood will just print more and borrow more.
JPMorgan says 20% unemployed and 40% off the US GDP for 2d Qtr. in US. It will be fine, relax. Imagine what the Canadian Gulag Numbers must look like. Wonder what the Canadian Gulags credit rating is at right now or projections. You won’t find that number it is censored.

  10. Blackie’s CBC is excited that China is giving an extra thirty million dollars to its World Health Organization. China is so wonderful. Just ask the CBC.

    1. Yes the Great Leader Baby Doc Trudeau is so wonderful. He is better than Poppa Doc Trudeau in everyway. He is delivering Venezuela North. I would advise Denizens of the Canadian Gulag to buy Hava Hart traps, they are a humane way to capture the neighbors cats and dogs for your supply of meat.

      1. Air rifles or even air pistols. They are inexpensive and sub 500 fps models require no PAL. They’ll kill pigeons and squirrels. Ammo is cheap. Just need bird seed (cheep to lol) to lure them into range. Illegal to shoot in most urban settings. Plan B is a sling shot.

        1. I’m a few months ahead on food and would survive and get healthier on half rations. Plus I have a 500 pack of .22 ammo. That’s a lot of squirrels and song birds plus one of those moose, deer, or bear wondering through my yard might have a mishap. I ain’t starving.

  11. An article in the Post today explores “immunity passports” which are beginning to be adopted in done places. That is, if you are confirmed as having antibodies from the virus, you get a passport and are freed from lock down. Personally, main think this in an insane, Orwellian idea. It us also bizarre. How are we to acquire immunity if we are massively locked down? This may be laying the ground work for the forced vaccines. They are deliberately preventing natural herd immunity. The crazy people are now running the asylum.

  12. And today’s daily rant from Blackie The Gay Pirate. Great Leader started off by celebrating the start of the Ramadan Bomb Athon. He explained the wonderful contribution muslims have made to the country. Just ignore the terrorist acts. Of course he threw another billion dollars out the door and answered questions on how wonderful he is. Justin and a Unifor journalist discussed how racist Conservatives are for opposing Peking Tam. They compared it to the Asian man who was abused by a racist Canadian bastard in Vancouver. And don’t forget to wash your hands you filthy infidel pigs.

    1. OJ such a shame that Baby Doc will rot someday. I wish the Masters of the Gulag could find a way to maybe preserve him. Like they did Lenin. Then they could stuff him and embalm him and wheel him around for his adoring underlings in Eastern Canada. Think of all the documentaries that the CBC could produce of the sobbing adoring hordes of Baby Doc. I am sure you would probably record them so you and your family could enjoy over and over.

    2. Given the reason for his daily pop outs, the C-19 and also the Nova Scotia tragedy I was struck by Ramadan being his lead off today, in fact dumbfounded.

It would be interesting to ask how many Muslims live in and call Canada their home but that would be considered racist.

      1. Forgot to add this is good politics, but today it could have been a better placed at the end of his daily statement.
None of us here and around the globe can celebrate anything, religious or otherwise, everything takes a backseat to survival of what is a deadly virus.

    1. NR he needs to borrow more money. He is spending quite a few BILLION a week now that there is no question period.

    1. Baby Doc Trudeau will feed them. He will find a way I am sure. Maybe borrow more Billions. Or raise taxes some more on the useless spineless Canadians on his Tax Farm. They are all fat and useless and so very servile. He could probably start harvesting body parts from them and they would still love him. SUBMIT OBEY HEEL LAY DOWN ROLL OVER….Almost time for that Molson’s Beer Commercial the Gulags anthem. “I Am Canadian”

      1. Baby Doc Trudeau will feed them. He will find a way I am sure.

All he needs are 5 loaves and 2 fish.

  13. Just heard a clip of Scott Moe outlining broad elements of Saskatchewan plan to reopen.

Would be great to have it posted and get thoughtful reactions and constructive criticism.

  14. And now your Canadians are racist bastards story for today. The Liberal Party’s Toronto Star has a number of stories that Conservative MPs are racist bastards for saying negative things about Peking Tam. They do have wonderful stories on how to celebrate the Ramadan Bomb A Thon.

    1. Conservatives need to smarten up, they are only as good as the people they choose to lead them.
The individual who questioned Tam’s loyalty to Canada is running for leadership, he should be booted to the curb immediately. This is the sort of shit that will keep Liberals in power forever. They just have no clue how to do politics.

      1. Well said Liz, they have to learn to lie like a sidewalk and do what you believe to be right when elected. When it works out, you will be re-elected. It’ what the other parties all do. Politicians never lie is something no one says ever!

  15. Yes Tam of the Clan of the Cave Bear is such an inspiration. Baby Doc thinks she is the best. Well the Alberta Pension Fund just lost 3B betting on risky trades in one of the most unstable markets in years.. No silly not the regular Riff Raffs pension fund. The CPP is being invested in 3rd world housing projects.
The Teachers and assorted hog troughers Pension Fund. But I am sure the Tax Payer, the Little People the Deplorables will be asked to top it back up for them All is well. https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/alberta-pension-fund-manager-lost-3-billion-selling-volatility
Those damned useless eaters are eating too much anyway. Not good for them. Not their day to eat anyway.

  16. Big Chief Gay Eagle With No Balls thinks farms in Canada are organic. When questioned by one of his lapdog journalists on whether students would work on farms if they can sit at home and collect a government cheque, Blackie stated that students are interested in green projects and would love to do something “organic”.

    1. Ideological conservatives do something “organic” every time he opens his yap. They need waders to go through all that–ahem–“stuff” that he spews.

So he figures that students are “interested in green projects and would love to do something ‘organic'”, eh? I worked in the oil refinery I mentioned in the other thread because, in addition to earning money, I wanted to learn something related to my future profession.

  17. Excellent article from American Thinker. Reminded me of growing up in southern Manitoba, The way things are working out, sometimes wonder why I left. I have always said I would rather sit around a pickle barrel drinking a few beers with half a dozen Saskatchewan farmers than sit in any faculty lounge with half a dozen Phd’s (I have done both). The former are much nicer people and have infinitely more knowledge and useful experience. The latter is just grossly overpaid egocentric schmucks!
    https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2020/04/my_neighbors_hunt.html

    1. The former are much nicer people and have infinitely more knowledge and useful experience. The latter is just grossly overpaid egocentric schmucks!

I’ve been finding that out ever since I started settling my father’s estate.

One reason I went to grad school was because I wanted to be with those I considered to be the elite of my profession. It didn’t take long for me to be disappointed on that front.

Most of the profs I dealt with had never spent any time out in the field or in a design office or on a shop floor, all of which I did before I started working on my first master’s degree. Worse was that many of those looked at me with disdain, as if I was second-rate because I wanted to spend some time working to not only utilize what I learned as an undergrad but to become registered. It seemed that, in their minds, if I was any good, I wouldn’t have bothered doing anything remotely “vocational”.

Now that I’m no longer practicing and spending a lot of time in the area where I grew up, I’m reminded of my blue collar background. My education doesn’t seem to matter to the people I deal with, mainly because I was a local working class kid and can relate to them.

    2. I also have spent time with both — normal folks, and academics, PhD’s. In my experience, there is no nastier workplace than the university — lots of backbiting, pettiness and trying to screw than other guy. I have a theory about this. Most of these people growing up, got their ego strokes from being smarter than other kids — for the most part, high school, etc. They are often rewarded for bring smart. In a university, however, they run into lots of people who are as smart or smarter than they are. Hence, there is a lot of insecurity, competition which creates negative vibes. The exceptions are the truly smart. A few people in those contexts are wonderful, and they are the brilliant ones — the Freeman Dyson’s for example, but they are few and far between. Most people in universities are just mediocre academics.

      1. They are often rewarded for bring smart.

I was one of those during my last years of high school. I earned my grades. While most of my classmates were out partying, I spent my nights doing homework because I looked several years ahead, focusing on what I wanted to do and where I wanted to be.

Much of the opposition I faced, both in high school, and, later, in university was because I came from the wrong class. I have the honour of being the son of two tradesmen and I never forgot that. But, to get anywhere in the university system, one needs to be connected with the right people or have the right background.

I’m sure that’s why, despite my educational credentials and my professional experience, I never got a faculty position. I was from the wrong class and I knew all the wrong people.

On the other hand, maybe I got the better deal. I never had to worry about establishing and maintaining a reputation and I avoided a lot of the petty politicking that is typical of academe, others than what I encountered while I taught at a certain technical college.

  18. Sharyl Attkisson exposes the liars all telling us Trump is a liar, for the 12,000th time.

    Some highlights:

“CNN claimed Nancy Sinatra was “not happy” at her father’s song being used at Trump’s inauguration. Sinatra responded, “That’s not true. I never said that. Why do you lie, CNN?…Actually I’m wishing him the best.”

The New York Times’ Michael S. Schmidt, Mark Mazzetti and Matt Apuzzo reported about supposed contacts between Trump campaign staff and “senior Russian intelligence officials.” Comey later testified “In the main, [the article] was not true.”

CNN’s Manu Raju and Jeremy Herb reported that Donald Trump Jr. conspired with WikiLeaks in advance of the publication of damaging Democrat party and Clinton campaign emails. Many other publications followed suit. They had the date wrong: WikiLeaks and Trump Junior were in contact after the emails were published.”

NBC News reported in a Tweet that Russian President Vladimir Putin told TV host Megan Kelly that he had compromising information about Trump. Actually, Putin said the opposite: that he did not have compromising information on Trump.”

Time magazine and others used a photo of a crying Honduran child to illustrate a supposed Trump administration policy separating illegal immigrant parents and children. The child’s father later reported that agents had never separated her from her mother; the mother had taken her to the US without his knowledge and separated herself from her other children, whom she left behind.”

The Buzzfeed exclusive with anonymous sources implicating Trump in potentially criminal behavior (that Democrats and pundits said would be the nail in Trump’s impeachment coffin) is refuted in a rare rebuke from Special Counsel Mueller’s office. Buzzfeed stands by its reporting.”

Numerous media outlets falsely report that President Trump called the coronavirus a “hoax.” In fact, the president called the Democrat’s politicization of the outbreak a hoax.”

  19. True North website reports on how China has sent Canada millions of defective masks. They also report on how China is stating that the reasons Blackie gave for the planes returning empty are not true. Gee who do we believe, China or Blackie. That is a tough one.
