  6. There’s actually an old saw about nomination meetings: you either have enough supporters, or you have a loud band and a circus act or two to make it look like you do.

    So, Michael Bloomberg needs a distraction to boot-strap him into contention, after winning exactly zero delegates in Iowa or New Hampshire. Quelle surprise! This is an admission of weakness.

    Apart from which, Hillary wants to be President, not second fiddle also-ran to some other Johnny-come-lately again (I hasten to add, however, as a way of hedging my position, that there seems to be this meme about — “Epstein didn’t kill himself”, which could possibly have something to do with our host’s comment about “Dirt Nap Maneuver”).

    Nevertheless, on precisely the same sentiments, Mr. Sanders is not likely to be too keen about ceding the leadership to any outfit involving Mrs. Clinton a second time, either. So, it’d be a third-party run by Mr. Sanders, and the Bloomberg-Clinton ticket would be third in the general election (a salutary idea).

    Finally, why is it that Mr. Bloomberg is the one offering, supposedly, to move out of New York state to allow Mrs. Clinton to run as Vice-President? He’d be the top of the ticket, in this scenario, so I think it would look pretty pathetic if he were seen to be kow-towing to her. Maybe she should move to Michigan (where she was born) or Arkansas (where she was “First Lady”, he says with a smile). Spend a bit of time there — unlike in 2016.

  10. I think he might be doing this to position himself for DNC super support. No worries — they both have the same boss (deep state). She can be VP. Money will flow to them both. Documents can easily be shredded. If he were one of the more lowly candidates, they would be in danger (e.g.. Warren).

  13. One theory is that Bloomberg’s strategy is to actually buy control of the DNC, not actually run……but he will insert Hellary as the saviour. So, the angle in this story isn’t too far off. This is the Bannon theory.
    Another interesting point to ponder for the 2020 election, is a prediction by a semi-well known Canadian financial prognosticator. His hunch is that Trump won’t be re-elected, because of the effect of 4years on the Trump demographic. 4 million Trump voters (over 65) will have passed away by 2020 while 8million new young voters qualify to vote, and they typically are Bernie Bros. In a vacuum, that could be real trouble for Trump, however, this doesn’t include the shift in the minority voter groups that are going Trump. We shall see!

    If they don’t make it in 2020, then 2024 for sure. They’ll try again.

    If I were Trump I’d concentrate on fool-proof voter reform. Isn’t it who counts the votes that matters? Mike’s purse is unlimited and Bernie wants another house. Trump better be careful.

    Last night Bill Maher said that he’s afraid Trump will win again in November and if he loses he’ll refuse to go. Maher interviewed Amy Klobuchar and she said the Army Generals would ensure “she” gets to move into the WH should she win. Because it’s the Constitution!
    As if the Dems pay attention to that!

Despite the utter hatred for Trump, the Bernie Bros will not unilaterally give their vote to Bloomers, Hellary, ButtBoy, or any other Demarxist when Bolshevik Bernie gets fcked again. If just a portion of the Bernie Bros stay home Election Day, it only takes 5% drop (3 million votes) to make Bloomers/Hellary also rans.
