    1. This is a good read and it’s getting a lot of attention but then tonight on Ingraham’s show she had on a couple of heavy weights when it comes to the law, Sol Wisenburg and Ken Starr, that disagreed.
      So…. it’s a complicated business isn’t it?

      1. Anything that is perceived as complex is only complex in order to obscure the truth. Language has been used for a long time now to hide the truth.

    2. Well.
If the process isn’t followed through then the goal won’t be achieved.
It’s like any bill passed by the house.
It must be forwarded to the Senate for debate, or eventually the bill dies.
Delay this thing too long and the NPC horde is going to start questioning why the big bad orange man hasn’t resigned and vacated the White House. Nothing as dangerous as when the monster you created turns on you.

    3. Don’t you think the Dems know the rules and are delaying delivering the articles to lengthen the process of making Trump look bad? I think the whole thing is orchestrated down to the minute.

    4. It is not Impeachment if it is not sent to the Senate and tried as Impeachment by the Senate, at least according to the Constitutional Requirements. No matter how they spin it, it is not Impeachment.

  1. The question Americans are being asked by Gallup is simple. Do you approve or disapprove of Trump’s impeachment??

    Approve 46%
    Disapprove 51%
    No opinion 3%

  2. The sound of settled science: Earth’s Magnetic Field is Doing Something Very Strange

The Earth’s magnetic North has moved 1,400 miles since it was discovered in 1831.
The north magnetic pole has been slowly moving across the Canadian Arctic toward Russia since 1831, but its swift pace toward Siberia in recent years at a rate of around 34 miles per year has forced scientists to update the World Magnetic Model — — a year ahead of schedule.

    https://www.cnn.com/2019/12/18/world/magnetic-north-pole-drift-scn-trnd/index.html

    1. Maybe we will get a north-south magnetic pole reversal. That would kill a lot of people, as it would burn out EVERY motor attached to the electrical grid. Some might start spinning backwards, but most would burn out. It would take decades to build all of those motors again, and countless millions would die in the interim. But instead of doing any research on how we might be able to mitigate, and survive such a magnetic pole reversal, all the money gets spent on trying to prove carbon dioxide is poison, and not essential plant food. Maybe the human race is too indoctrinated to survive.

      1. The earths magnetic field has no effect on a motor. If the field reversed it would not cause motors to reverse. Otherwise all motors today would be spinning in the current field and we would not be wasting money on solar panels and wind turbines. But I think you were joking

    2. And how do we know the current rate of change is not the normal. Could be back in 1834 things were worryingly too slow. The pole was about to freeze or worse to stop. Big question is what was the annual change in 1492. And did white people have an effect when they colonized north america

      1. We need to set up a task force to confirm this is caused by global warming. A thousand poli sci grads should do the trick.

      1. Quebec uses it I wonder why other provinces don’t? Just the threat of Ford using it sent the media and the socialists into spasms of apoplexy. Remember James this is Canada and what may or many not be written may or may not be law or used by all. Look around at the multi tiered justice system, it is a disgrace for a supposed free country and society.

        1. We are all equal before and under the law until it comes to the Court of the land when some become more equal than others, Quebec tops that list.

        1. They still are. The victims, however, are the criminals. Society, trauma, climate change, whatever made them commit their misdeeds and that now automatically conveys upon them special status.

    1. If the Constitution is unclear on the point, then we should have an Amendment that apportionment of the House should be based on eligible voters. After all, they are the only ones who can decide who the representatives are.
You definitely should not apportion based on non citizens, whether legally immigrated or not.

      1. OldBruin how about only citizen taxpayers get to vote? Illegals get to leave, all of them. Those who support illegals get to go to jail and never vote again.

    2. This article is based on data from the Center for Immigration Studies.
The CIS is an anti-immigrant group associatied with White Nationalism.

The CATO institute calls them “wrong about all the facts and issues.
They’re wrong about the impact of immigrants on the U.S. economy and on U.S. society.”
      & from a Congressman
“they torture the data to make it arrive at the conclusion they desire,”

      This article https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2019/national/census-2020-technology/

from before the citizenship question was decided, shows a graph with the title:
Projected congressional reapportionment after the 2020 Census
      https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2019/national/census-2020-technology/reapportionment-map-xlarge.jpg
The blue, mainly Northeast, lose; the orange/red gain. Largest gains are Florida & Texas.
And the numbers are much smaller than the CIS warns about.

In any case the results are applicable to the 2022 election & beyond, not to 2020. One hopes by then, there will be no “Trump states”.

      1. – You believe the WaPo – right? Jeff Bezos’s “gimme CHEAP LABOR!!!” bullhorn – right?

I recall a conversation with a rabid global warmist. He did not believe me about tax-hungry governments, because he had Press that backed his ‘Big Oil propaganda’ slant; he even sent me two URLs. From the Grauniad.

        1. // – You believe the WaPo – right? //

Compared with the CIS ? Why yes.
          Take this:
“The presence of all immigrants (naturalized citizens, legal residents, and illegal immigrants) and their U.S.-born minor children will redistribute 26 seats in the House in 2020. Ohio will have three fewer seats in 2020, Michigan and Pennsylvania will have two fewer, and Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, West Virginia, and Wisconsin will each have one fewer seat.”

But the 2020 census won’t be used in the 2020 election.
CIS produces this shit; the Washington Examiner broadcasts it, & Colonista delivers the steaming heap to us.

          1. “Colonista delivers the steaming heap to us.”

No, it is your mother that delivered you to this world. And of course yes, 2020 election will not be affected by this. Subsequent elections will, this is a long term game that your side has been playing for decades. Trying to deflect this fact with a technicality only proves that you’re demagogue and a “steaming heap”.

      2. “they torture the data to make it arrive at the conclusion they desire”

…hmmm, and here I thought you were referring to the Warmists.

        1. No AC, they don’t manipulate data, they IGNORE data. But only inconvenient data. This takes it from being a pure scientific endeavor, and turns it into religion, where certain assumptions have to be agreed to, in order to maintain the belief system.

  3. Maybe I am just more observant about this being of my ethnicity, but I would have thought it rather obvious.
There are many SJW who are Asians and consider themselves “women of color.” OTOH, there was an outcry by the SJW that the latest Klown Kar debate lacks “diversity” because it lacks “people of color”.
What is Yang, honorary or dishonorary, white?
Though honestly my skin is nothing like the color of the maillot jaune worn by the leader of the Tour de France, more like a light brown, I accept that Asians are known as the “yellow race,” in the rather subdued rainbow of white, yellow, red, brown, and black. But while you can argue that white is a lack of color, isn’t yellow a color?

    1. According to one SJW assertion, Asians are not POC, they are considered reserve whites.
Something about the Asian propensity towards being productive.

    2. Asians are colored (and therefore classify as a minority) unless they are exceling, in which case they are white (and part of the oppressing majority). It’s pretty simple.

But a bigger issue is Hispanics. They don’t seem to be complaining as much as blacks and their numbers are growing rapidly in the US. There are almost 60 million Hispanics in the USA and in some states they account for almost 50% of the population. If I were American I would learn Spanish. It’s the fastest growing language in the world.

  4. Tracking your movements.

Working with big data analytics in my past life I’ve known about this capability for some time.

Now the NY Times is waking up.

    https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2019/12/19/opinion/location-tracking-cell-phone.html

With purchase records from credit cards and banks (thank you Stasi Canada), census data, municipal property tax records, health records, etc. we have no privacy anymore. If you are on social media it’s even worse.

It’s just a matter of time before we have governments implementing social credit scores like they do in China.

Have any of your Facebook friends not paid a parking ticket? Your score goes down.

Visit a shooting range, your score goes down.

Read SDA, your score goes down.

    You get the idea.

If your score is too low, you can’t buy an airplane ticket, or perhaps even use your car.

    Here come the 2020s

    1. If your score gets too low you get to wage civil war against those who created the problems and reduced your individual freedom. I don’t care who gets hurt.

    2. On my iPhone I have SDA as one of my favorites so that I can scroll down and click on the little dead guy (or girl) to get my fix of crazy people (us or them I never know). Every once in awhile the icon disappears and when I manually enter the web address I’m told it’s an unsecure site.

    1. That’s the problem when they get too overt – somebody notices.

About a decade ago, China decided its “charm offensive” had run its course, and they started throwing their weight around. It’s now surrounded itself by enemies, and most of Southeast Asia is aligning with the U.S. And China’s methods of pushing its “One Belt, One Road” in the hinterland are well beyond nakedly acquisitive. Nobody mentions the Uighur Muslims, or the Falun Gong adherents they’re rounding-up, strangling and organ-harvesting, but you can rest assured that everybody sees them; and the Han have always considered themselves divinely-entitled Masters of the World, so everybody else knows what to expect if they win.

There’s another World War coming – you heard it here first.

  5. And now your Canadians are racist bastards story for today. Blackie’s CBC had the heart breaking story last night, of muslim migrants with bags over their heads in Edmonton. They are upset and going to court because Habitat For Humanity isn’t giving them free houses. But don’t worry, Great Leader stated in his interview with his CBC that many Canadians don’t realize they are racist bastards, and he is going to solve that.

  6. And now your two faced story for today, and no its not about Blackie. All the media is excited in Canada and the U.S. about the retiring editor of a liberal Christian magazine calling for the removal of Trump. This is the same media that spends a lot of time trashing the Christian faith.

  7. After a busy week of appearing before the cameras for Prime Minister Freeland, Great Leader has burned jet fuel to Costa Rica for the “Holidays”. But don’t worry, he left behind a “Holiday” message to be played on Christmas Day for the racist bastards in Canada. Just be happy that we are paying carbon taxes to heat our homes, so Great Leader can pour carbon into the air on vacation.

    1. But, but, how could Trudeau and his family possibly survive there?

They are in a climate catastrophe in Costa Rica.

It’s currently 35C warmer than Ottawa! And 4C warming would be the end of civilization.

      1. The sacrifices one makes for one’s country, eh? I guess he couldn’t get a booking at his buddy Aga Khan’s place.

Living high on the hog so that you don’t have to.

    2. I’m wondering if Justin bought carbon credits for himself, his family, and the entire entourage that traveled to Costa Rica.

Could be lots of money going to a … Liberal friend?

  8. Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, was very unhappy that the Liberals gained no seats in Saskatchewan or Alberta. In addition, his support from aboriginal communities was declining rapidly. He decided to visit a small aboriginal town in Alberta to demonstrate his support and improve on the Liberal polling numbers. He knew he could get some wide media exposure if he could provide support the community in a tangible way.

Upon arriving in the village and after the usual greetings, he immediately asked what were the most pressing needs.

“We have two basic needs, honourable Sir,” the village leader replied. “Firstly we have a small hospital but no doctor.”

“Chief”, he said, “as the Prime Minister of this great country I will fix that problem right now.” The CBC camera was rolling and Trudeau whipped out his smartphone and made a call. After speaking for a while he hung up and told the chief not to worry any longer, a doctor would be assigned and sent to the village very soon.

Then he asked, “And what is the second problem?”

“…secondly Sir, we desperately need cellphone service because there is none anywhere in this village.”

    1. I like when Blackie waves goodbye to nobody at the airport.
Photographers are really good at Fake News.

  9. Here is a short opinion piece from the Frontier Centre for Public Policy on trans-athletes:
    https://fcpp.org/2019/12/16/the-irony-of-trans-athletes/

The Frontier Centre is pigeonholed as being a conservative, economics-oriented, western-based think tank, but unlike other conservative think tanks in Canada, this group often moves into other, non-economic areas. The above link has some Canadian content, and is worth a read.

    1. When child services on reserves does a crappy job, the courts and tribunals order the federal government to pay billions to their victims. Reserves frig up everything they touch.

  10. One thing about using Wikipedia as a source is that you can edit it to say whatever you want and then use it as a reference.

  11. Can the Convert Teach Blackie the Retard?
    https://nationalpost.com/business/local-business/david-staples-if-anyone-can-persuade-trudeau-to-end-his-disastrous-spirit-quest-on-renewable-energy-its-michael-shellenberger/wcm/57a873bb-7b11-4f3a-8b35-522f29d96af4?video_autoplay=true

Shellenberger’s Ted Talk is worth watching especially if you know some wind and solar power lovers because he quickly explains how shitty they are compared to nuclear energy. Paraphrasing: an amount of uranium about the size of a Rubik’s cube will provide all the energy a typical human will need for their lifetime.

  12. Well the two Canadians kidnapped by the Chinese secret police might as well kiss their asses goodbye. Blackie has screwed things up again. Thanks to him blathering about asking Trump not to make a trade deal with the commie fascists unless the Canadians are released, the media reports that China is furious. Atta go Justin. Thank God you can’t get into trouble on a vacation island down south. Oh wait….

  13. Blackie’s media is excited that Obama is coming back in January to scam more money out of the morons in downtown Toronto. No word on whether Blackie will be there to thank him for interfering in the election.

  14. Lorrie Goldstein at the Toronto Sun website gives us a breakdown of what it cost taxpayers to send Blackie’s delegations to global warming scam conferences. This includes the 156 people he sent to Madrid. Climate Barbie spent over six thousand dollars for a photographer to take pictures of her at one conference, and three civil servants ran up a food bill of twelve thousand dollars.
