  2. What is hard to believe was that Trump survived a 3 year FBI proctology exam with no criminal charges. That is truly amazing. I am sure there are few business people that wouldn’t get caught up in something. I”m pretty sure the Clintons wouldn’t do so well.

      Yet Mueller, after conducting the most exhaustive test ever of election integrity, reached this stunning conclusion: “The Special Counsel did not find that any US person or Trump campaign official or associate conspired or knowingly coordinated” with Russians “despite multiple offers from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign.”

      No American — not a single one — took the Russian bait. And that includes every member of the Trump campaign.

      That is a fact worthy of celebration, for it shows our democracy is strong and our institutions uncompromised.

      Other implications of the report’s findings are also enormous.

      We now know that Hillary Clinton and her supporters misled the country in claiming that the White House was stolen from her. She started the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax and her claims, aided by the Obama White House and magnified by a thoroughly partisan media, set in motion a wild-goose chase.

      The chase undermined a duly elected president and cost taxpayers more than $30 million for an investigation that proved the accusations were flat-out false.

      Yet money alone is hardly the full price. The probe itself was a giant cloud over the presidency. Trump’s cabinet, his family, his aides and every policy he put forth were viewed with suspicion by those who bought Clinton’s Big Lie. Many of those people shelled out thousands of dollars for legal bills merely to answer questions and prove themselves innocent of any wrongdoing.

      It is also a given that China, North Korea, Iran and, yes, Russia have factored into their relations with us the possibility that Trump might not be long for the Oval Office.

      We will never know exactly what price America paid for that possibility, but you can be certain it was high, and that the ramifications will not instantly disappear.

      Perhaps there would have been a trade deal with China by now. Perhaps North Korea would have scuttled its nukes if it knew Trump wasn’t going anywhere for at least four years.

      Those are just some of the actual and potential consequences Clinton set in motion with her false claims. In a better world, or if she were a better person, she would apologize and publicly acknowledge Trump’s legitimacy. I won’t hold my breath.

    2. Mueller’s probe was not specifically focused on Trump. It was much more general than that it found plenty hence the indictments. It didn’t find evidence of conspiracy by Trump. That is not the same as ‘squeaky clean’ but that’s moot because this investigation by Mueller (PBUH) wasn’t meant to be a check on all things Trump.

        “1. Any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the CAMPAIGN OF DONALD TRUMP (my emphasis); and (not the other way around CNuN)

        2. Any matters that might rise directly from the investigation; and

        3. Any other matters within the scope of 28 C.F.R. 600.4(a).”

        Like CNN do you plan to argue you did a good job getting it completely wrong?

They don’t live LIES like the upper echelons of the DNC. No ‘spirit cooking’, among other debauchery. They LOVE our country and our constitution. Everyone on Trumps campaign and inner circle are squeaky damn clean. They DID pass a rigorous anal probe, by a political proctologist.

      So Manafort and Cohen lied on loan applications … so what? Do you have ANY IDEA how many borrowers inflate their assets and income on loan applications? My guess … 85% of all borrowers. Should we lock em all up? Are those two men kinda slimy? You hardly need an “investigation” to determine Cohen was the model for the corrupt lawyer in ‘Better Call Saul’ Pure slime.

      Maybe they should ask CNN about thousands of cases of fake news when hearings for license renewal come about. I wouldn’t wish them to lose their license but it would be entertaining to watch them grovel and justify trying to overthrow an elected government.

    Nobody has complained about a Judge in the SDNY ordering Solitary Confinement with regard to an IRS/Bank TAX case.

    1. Solitary confinement for more than 3 months is inhumane and grounds for a lawsuit. Why aren’t people talking about the 16 totally unrelated convictions from this investigation? Forced perjuries – makes me wonder why Mueller is held in such high regard if he can oversee this vicious game. The American people should be furious. Hope Trump pardons them all, even if there was egregious tax fraud.

    Not true. His indictments all show that there was at least contact and a bit of collusion between certain Americans and Russians-but none of it was directed by Trump. He lacked the organization and savvy to pull that off.

  9. So when is the actual report going to be released as opposed to Barr’s hackneyed ‘summary’? Not even saying that anything more will be in it than has been revealed but boy, hey, if so releasing the whole thing shouldn’t be a problem.

    Addendum: there are still other completely separate investigations ongoing into Trump’s organizations. Who would have thought putting a scumbag at the helm would be such a bad idea?

  13. I’m not sure how much of it really matters. From the beginning anyone but a deluded fool could see that the Russia thing was complete nonsense. Yet even now a large minority of Americans and probably even more Canadians still believe it. Leftism is an identity not an ideology. Facts that disturb your worldview are simply ignored. We can thank decades of public education and the craven and partisan media for destroying the ability to think critically. It does not bode well for the future. Winston Churchill had it right when he said “the best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with an average voter.”
