    1. Nothing in the news about SNC Lavalin, the Government Phrenologists have pronounced the groper cured. I see the CBC have swung the Eye of Saron on Jason Kenney tho, trying to screw him over for some minor infraction involving some campaign donations. The ParaMilitary RCMP are already o his trail.
SNC Lavalin not so much just crickets now.
He has been talking tough and spitting in the dirt. Can’t have a Damn Colonial Albertan bucking the Globalists in Ottawa.

My favorite Kinison skit. Too bad the UN listened to Sam’s logic, now they ARE bringing the starving Africans to “where the food is”, in Europe, Canada, the USA…………..

Sam Kinison was the most hated person in show business, hated by every feminist on the planet, they celebrated when he died in a car crash.

    1. Ralph Goodale also tweeted the same thing as Scheer. And Justin talked about the Holocaust twice without mentioning Jews.

    2. Because she is your Appointed Head of State, as you and none of the rest of the voting age Canadians are Adult enough or competent mature enough, to elect your own. You are still children that must have all choices made for you by the adults. They also appoint all the Heads of State of all of the Provinces, the Lt. Gov. can’t have the Colonials doing that now can we. They also pick the Heads of a couple of hundred Crown Corps for you too, as those are little cushy high paying plums to be doled out to the bagmen and shysters and grifters. They gotta eat too.

    1. McKenna is not the brightest, she’s proving that across the board, her leader wouldn’t notice.

  2. As Breitbart News alone reported among major news outlets, Fulani jihadists racked up a death toll of over 120 Christians over the past three weeks in central Nigeria, employing machetes and gunfire to slaughter men, women, and children, burning down over 140 houses, destroying property, and spreading terror.

The New York Times did not place this story on the front page; in fact, they did not cover it at all. Apparently, when assessing “all the news that’s fit to print,” the massacre of African Christians did not measure up. The same can be said for the Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune, the Detroit Free Press, the LA Times, and every other major paper in the United States.

The news shows from the three major television channels did not mention the story, and nor did CNN or MSNBC.

  3. Did John Kasich really echo Q’s version of the death of John McCain? On CNN, of all places?

JOHN MCCAIN WAS PUT TO DEATH …

I’d always assumed that rumors of secret military tribunals executing traitorous politicians were absurd on their face, especially considering that the God-Emperor still hasn’t locked her up, but on the other hand, look at the absolute lack of expression on the reporter’s face. It’s like he’s totally focused on not drawing any attention to Kasich’s astonishing little slip there. That, to me, is an absolutely fascinating response.

Of course, CNN would be one of the safest places to make a mistake of this magnitude, considering how few people actually watch it these days.

Right-wing extremism (and its violent iteration, terrorism) is particularly important for Canada to address, given the recent protests that have occurred across this country under the auspices of the Yellow Vest movement. On the surface, these protests have been about promoting and protecting pipelines and the oil and gas sector, but they have also been accompanied by deeply disturbing anti-immigration and anti-Muslim rhetoric.

    1. I’ll wait for the final report before passing judgement on the root cause and contributing causes.

Having lead and participated in many failure analyses, I know the real causes are often not what people initially think.

      Some questions for consideration:
      a) who was flying the airplane? The pilot or the co-pilot ?
      b) reportedly the co-pilot had only 200 hours experience. Is this true? Did this lack of experience contribute to the crash.
      c) were all the instruments working properly at the time of the crash?
      d) were there any back ups to the angle of attack indicators?
      e) there are something like 350 plus 737-800 Max airplanes flying. How many have experienced problems of this nature (altitude loss). Under what circumstances does this occur?

There will be hundreds of other questions that need investigation before we know what happened in these two crashes. But in this CNN Twitterverse world we want instant answers. Sometimes we have to wait.

      1. a) unsure; reportedly either “Wi Tu Lo” or “Bang Ding Ow”.
        b) doubt we’ll ever know; “stick it to Boeing” is in full howl, and the Ethiopians have refused to send the CDR’s to the NTSB, instead sending them to Paris.
        c) almost certainly not; on the Lion Air crash, the crew-before noted the AoA wasn’t – but didn’t write it up.
        d) as the article notes, the back-up AoA indicator was optional at extra cost, and neither crashed aircraft had it.
        e) the article suggests that the AoA is unreliable; and I tend to believe it, otherwise why would Boeing sell an optional extra one, with a “your AoA’s disagree” telltale?

My take-aways were that 1) Boeing offered an optional double-AoA that neither crashed aircraft had, and 2) none of the (surviving) pilots for the two airlines even knew about the thing. As another ZH article put-it, “It seems rock-bottom fares remain more important than safety” – and the guy even sounded surprised about it…

      2. Joe, a few points about the low-time pilots:

        1. It doesn’t matter whether the Captain or FO is the pilot flying; the Captain is Pilot-in-Command at all times. I am a flying instructor and my student is usually flying the plane, but I am responsible for keeping both of us safe.

        2. 200 hrs for a FO is not that unusual: my son recently graduated from flight school and when he sat in the right seat for the first time, he had about 250 hrs. He’s not flying a 737 (he flies a Bombardier Q400), but some of his fellow graduates are flying with Sunwing, and they have 4 Max 8s.

        3. When a really low time FO is in the right seat, the Captain is a Training Captain (i.e. a very senior Captain with expertise in working with a rookie FO)

        4. Apparently some American pilots have experienced similar issues with the Max8, but managed to handle the problem. From what I am hearing, the manual does not tell pilots how to disable the system that causes the problem (it’s not the autopilot) – it is a new system that only works during the first part of the climb when the autopilot is not engaged.

        5. I suspect there is a conflict going on in the systems: The AoA system thinks it is too nose high and commands the nose to be lowered, then the GPWS says that they are too low, heading lower and not in landing configuration, so it commands nose up. Down, up, down, up – if the oscillations become divergeant we end up with a smoking hole in the ground unless the Captain can take over from the computers.

        6. With all the computers on board, I worry about the Blue Screen of Death !!!!!

        7. I am a HAL9000 computer …….

        1. Well put. I would want to put my trust in a Captain with Experience….& not in ANYONES Software – 100% of the time.

Given current levels of automation, I’m amazed that there isnt a reduntant system on board that although fly by wire, is still 100% dependant upon Left seat input L/R pedals (aielerons)- UP/Dwn-R/L (tail) column & using std gauges to indicate aircraft status: speed, fuel status, manual trim, engine power %, attitude etc.

          Blue screen of death indeed.
Think the future – A.I. anyone.??

        2. Rich
Thanks for your insight. I recently read a statistic that astounded me; 70% of all fatal commercial airplane crashes occurred when pilot and first officer were paired together for the first time. I’ve tried to find the book with that quote, but couldn’t. Have you any info on this?

My questions a to e are just a few of the hundreds of questions the accident investigators will look at.

Key question for me, if it is a “design flaw”, what set of conditions caused these two planes to crash when thousands of other flights did not? I suspect, but don’t know, that there were multiple factors.

          1. I suspect – hope I’m wrong, but beginning to doubt it – the pilots found themselves in unfamiliar territory; an aircraft doing utterly bizarre things, and quite likely actively fighting them – they were losing control, low over the ground, no idea what was going-on or why an aircraft would behave like this – and never even having been told about this much less trained in it, ran out of ideas and lost hope. As noted in the initial article, if they’d quickly noticed what was going on and immediately – and properly – performed the runaway-trim checklist item, they’d likely have saved the aircraft.

Sorta’ hard when English isn’t their first language, and nobody had even told them about what was likely a small procedure tucked-away in the back of a big checklist, much less trained them on it. Massive incompetence all ’round, and that’s claimed many a life with many more to follow. “Human condition”, anybody?

          2. Joe

Not heard that one: pairings for really low-time FOs is done by crew dispatch, so the FO tends to get the same Captain a lot. Once the FO is experienced – e.g. when he has his ATPL, they just bid for routes and get the flights based on seniority, so new pairings happen quite often.

For sure, FOs and Captains develop bonds/friendships and aim to fly together often and I am sure it contributes to safety as each knows and respects their abilities.

I heard today from a Sunwing pilot that they had a briefing on the issue following the Lion Air crash, so if they ran into the issue, they knew what to do. I also heard from my son that all the Sunwing Max8s and some AC Max8s are parked in Windsor. We assume they got ferry permits so they could park them there cheaper than at Pearson.

            YK

I think your suspicions are correct. If the pilots hadn’t been fully briefed on the issue and the plane starts acting up, at those altitudes nobody has time to fumble through the huge manuals trying to find out what is happening. SOP in that instant would be for the Captain to be pilot flying and FO going through procedures, or calling ground, to diagnose the problem

  5. Trudeau and Climate Barbie have yet to explain how we will be getting back more than we pay for their newly named carbon tax, a “price on pollution” after people go broke paying for the tax on everything we need to survive. We are already stretched to the limit.

This government has to go, they couldn’t operate a lemonade stand.

    1. Liz it is the same formula as the Communist Constitution of Canada, written for you by Pierre Trudeau, the clause about Equalization. “From Each According To His Means To Each According To His Needs”. Guess who decides what the Needs are.
      Karl Marx 101 Democratic Communism

    2. Liz: its simple, the budget will balance itself – Trudles told us so. As for Climate Barbie – she gives blondes a bad name. I do know some really smart blondes – she however isn’t one of them.

By the sounds of it, they are going to ramp up the Climate Change BS as a smokescreen for all the other scandals. At one time the saying was that in the case of trouble, wrap yourself in the flag. Now its wrap yourself in green (with apologies to St. Paddy’s day)

    3. Liz, Liberal tax promises are like the three thimbles and the pea. What Canadians don’t realize is that the promised pea has been taken off the game board already. The money returned to the low information voter is a pittance to the amount that the cost of living will increase by when the carbon tax kicks in. Every business that heats a building will have to increase costs to cover the extra expense that the tax imposes. Every public building that uses heat will be an unseen increased cost to the taxpayer. Every school, hospital, police office, fire department, municipal town hall, recreational centre, provincial assembly will have increase costs that will have to be borne by the taxpayer. Every company that uses gas or diesel to deliver product will have to increase costs to cover the new expenses. Every grocery store, shoe store, department store etc., etc., etc., will have to increase costs and these costs will end up on the taxpayer/consumers bill. The taxpayer most affected will be the boomer generation that voted in this herd of idiots that believe we can effect climate by a tax. The boomer generation will have no ability to increase their pensions to compensate for the cost of living that will skyrocket after April 1st.

  6. CBC and the rest of the media continues its rants this morning about the shootings in New Zealand. And our little Prince will be addressing parliament today on the subject. Expect lots of tears, rants about islamophobia, and maybe he will even blame Harper. In related news the Globe and Mail reports that Hitler Ford is demanding 45 million dollars from Justin to cover the cost of legal aid run up by illegal migrants.

  7. Good news for anti pipeline activists. Groper has stuck it to Alberta again. Our little prince has appointed a female MP from B.C. to the position of Treasury Board president. She is an avid environmentalist who hates pipelines and was vocal in caucus in her opposition to pipelines. She also was behind oil tanker bans when serving as a provincial cabinet minister.

    1. Appointing a BC Liberal to Treasury Board. The Quebec Liberals are saying oh goodie she’s one of us.

  8. The Toronto Star is excited that the new Treasury Board president stated earlier this month, that she is committed to persuade the prime minister to cancel the Trans Canada pipeline project.

  9. The Conservative Party put out an email to supporters, over the weekend, saying that the federal Liberals might call a snap election, with the election date for early May. The Liberal government also has been bombarding Canadians with various touchy-feely TV ads. On the BBN-Bloomberg network, the repetitive ads represent a goodly portion of all ads. Needless to say, no one aamongst the media cartel has spoken out against this, much less mentioning the ad splurge.

There’s more to federal dinero negro than the $599-million to newspapers’ bank accounts.

  10. Another wind turbine fire, this time in Nova Scotia.
    Best lines:

Firefighters were unable to get close enough to put the fire out directly because of the turbine’s height and movement of the blades — and it couldn’t be turned off with the gearbox on fire.

“It was too dangerous to get close to it,” Amiro said. “Because of the length of the blades and the blades were turning, you didn’t know where they were going to go when they fell.”

    http://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/nova-scotia-wind-turbine-catches-fire/ar-BBUQX3Y?li=AAggNb9&ocid=iehp

    1. I think it’s vitally important that all wind turbines be shut down, until such time as they can be equipped with an appropriate fire suppression system. Furthermore, all wind turbine companies must provide an appropriate fire truck for the county that these machines are located in.

This will reduce the risk of ignition of the surrounding areas.

  12. Trudeau will make a big emotional plea for the Paramilitary RCMP to round up and confiscate guns in Canada. This will totally cleanse all SNC Lavalin shit stains on his groping little fingers. The Eye of Saron at the State Controlled CBC will switch to 24/7 about those damn Rednecks and Colonials clutching their guns. The WHITE Bastard’s will be forced to tug their forelocks and kneel before the Sun King Trudeau and his Sunny Ways. Never give up your guns. http://www.timebomb2000.com/vb/showthread.php?551756-Kurt-Schlichter-An-Armed-Citizenry-Is-A-Free-Citizenry-Which-Is-Why-Liberals-Want-You-Disarmed

    1. Watcher, if the government gives the order to seize all firearms, what do you suggest we do when a 30 man RCMP SWAT team arrives at our house, barges in and demands all firearms be turned over immediately?

We either try to dig in the frozen ground right now, can’t even go up into the bush to hide ’em as the roads aren’t plowed and I personally don’t own a snowmobile, see reference to “frozen ground” even if I did, or capitulate. I’m not about to get into a blazing and losing gun battle with a bunch of macho cop bullies just slavering over the thought of being able to go full auto and massacre an old white guy..

The “never give up your guns” theme is more probable in the USA with their 2nd Amendment, we don’t have any amendments or even property rights. The PM, any PM, is elected to a four year absolute dictatorship, and if he gives the order, we might get lucky and be able to hide a few, but most of our guns will be gone.

Maybe if he does give the order,I will immediately convert to Islam and hang a crescent moon in my living room window, then as a victim I should be free from a RCMP search.

      1. I will never give up my guns.

I will go to prison and my guns will not be in the hands of our corrupt politicians ever.

        You are weak…

You are the reason we are losing all of our freedoms and now live in tyranny.

        1. You’re not gonna give up guns because you don’t have any guns.

Being in prison puts you squarely in the hands and at the mercy of the most corrupt politicians. Politicians who are allowing for prisons to be turned into mosques and koranimal indoctrination centers btw.

You are a blowhard, a wet fart in a brown paper bag.

          1. If all gun owners tell the government to F off

How will the government imprison 1,848,000 million Canadians Gun Owners.

            I think not….

            You are the blowhard…

            Chicken shit…

  13. Why is the media so scared then and their pushing the narrative before Trump acts so their trying to control the narrative.

    Toronto Star Opinion

Donald Trump’s threats of violence cross a crucial line

No one can accuse Donald Trump of respecting democratic niceties.

In the two short years that he has held the U.S. presidency, Trum; has vowed to crush the re-election hopes of those in his own Republican party who don’t support him, threatened to jail his former political opponent Hillary Clinton, sullied the reputation of U.S. intelligence services, undermined the independence of the judiciary and Justice Department, cozied up to the world’s most dangerous dictators, and incited physical violence against both the media and dissenters at his rallies.

      1. We the people are not allowed to have opinions period.

Believe what our Presstitute media tells us all.

Muslims don’t kill people it’s the religion of peace.

  14. The Dutch police are now looking for a “Turkish Man” regarding the shooting in Holland. The media isn’t using the word muslim for the shooter, even though they trashed Scheer for not using the word for the New Zealand shootings. I guess now that we know its a muslim shooter, the media will quickly drop the story. I wonder if when Prince Justin gives his speech in parliament today regarding the New Zealand incident, he will also mention Holland and say the word muslim.

    1. Out Presstitute Media are so blatant in their racist judgment against Europeans Canadians they can’t say Muslim or Islam or Jihad when a Muslim kills whitepeople and I truly I feel like I am living in a Twilight Zone show with they way our entire governments media are so beyond corrupt and you all are going to vote Sheer the Globalist controled Conservative party in And they are going to be the same as the liberals in power.

CPC could of killed the CBC and didn’t last time so don’t expect it this time their Globalist UN controllers will not allow it just like Islam is the approved religion of peace.

Nothing will change for the positive for the Lib Con Party has always controled our federal governments and look where we are now and you guys trust the CPC???

      Vote for Max…

      1. What?! Me and the PPC “taking very hard shots at the Muslim community”?

Is this woman crazy? Or is she being paid to lie?

        The Angus Reid Institute’s
        @ShachiKurl
says nearly half of all Canadians see white nationalism/radicalization at home as a serious threat. #ctvqp #cdnpoli

        https://mobile.twitter.com/MaximeBernier/status/1107667376810717185

        Remember this Liberal promise?

A 10B $ deficit for first 3 years “and then a balanced budget by the 2019-20 fiscal year.”

Don’t wait for that balanced budget tomorrow. It will be just another VOTE-BUYING exercise, even more so before the election.

        https://mobile.twitter.com/MaximeBernier/status/1107662928508006401

        1. I think many see white nationalism as a threat because the media has been whipping up stories designed to support this idea. Really, evidence is very flimsy, yet people want to respond as though they are informed, so — having watched one of the trumped up media reports, they agree white nationalism is a problem. More fake news.

    2. “Since up to 98 percent of the population are Muslims, Christians are obviously a minority religion in Turkey. Because it is a secular country, the only Muslim country in the world that has no state religion, the Constitution guarantees religious freedom, and tolerance is the rule.”

OJ, see how wrong you/we can be! The guy is undoubtedly secular, one of the two percenters who aren’t Muslim. This was NO revenge killing of infidels by a Muslim, I’m shocked you’d even suggest such a thing! sarc off.

The kerfuffle over Scheer’s remarks, which were almost identical to the Governor-general’s, is a good indication of how the media intends to attack the CPC and defend everything Liberal for the next few months.

Isn’t it odd how a Liberal appointed female G-G can say the same as Scheer, yet get not a word of censure from the media? And the msm bastards claim they haven’t been bought.

  15. I was asked recently why I hate Justin Trudeau. My reply was; “I do not hate Justin Trudeau, I dread Him as surely as I dread the Bubonic Plaque as the quintessential buboes.
It was the bursting of the buboes, which in no manner describes anyone trying to excise the buboes, but if the buboes were properly observed and pointed out as The most significant symptom to destroy the whole cultural being.
Awareness of the Bubonic Plaque through indentifying would bring the necessary patience to wait for the buboe to burst on it’s own recognition as those near understood the Real Danger.

  16. Canadians for legal equality

“At Prime Minister Justin Trudeau‘s behest, Karina Gould, the Minister of ‘Democratic’ Institutions” threatened Google with “sweeping regulations” if they did not suppress criticism of the ‘Liberal’ government concerning the SNC-Lavalin scandal and the Wilson-Raybould resignation.

Google reluctantly complied, with the result that some stories appearing worldwide were not available to Canadians via Google. However, Google angrily responded that they would not be accepting ANY political advertising for the upcoming federal election – including from the ‘Liberal’ Party, which has upset the ‘Liberal’ government

    https://canadiansforlegalequality.wordpress.com/2019/03/17/suppression-of-news-and-a-web-of-corruption/

      1. – Where can you shoot ANY politician that’d do him (-her, -it, -zhe etc) any harm?
        – Brainless.
        – Spineless.
        – No heart.
        – No guts.
        – See no evil, hear no evil…

    1. I bet Wernick’s son still works for the Liberal party. Hey why not, working for the Libranos made Daddy rich.

  17. Great news! Mr. Wernick denies being partisan, but he certainly was. In his resignation letter he cited the fact that the opposition no longer saw him as politically neutral.

  18. Lavscam has another scurrying off and just when the Libranos thought the budget would be the biggest news in town.

There’s something yet to be told with this gong show called the Liberal Government ,we may have to shovel a bit deeper but we will get there.

    1. No surprise there. Having spent 15 years in the Public Service I can tell you that ALL these Mandarins are Liberal cronies. It is akin to a cult, to have another party in power is a perversion to be treated with disdain. These Pricks are so smug & self-satisfied
that they cannot handle even a whiff of stress. They are all cowards under the skin and run away like little girls at the merest hint of trouble.Witness Michael Wernick. Nutless wonders, all of them.

  19. Our Public Service serve themselves and their leftist Globalist ideals.

Our Public Service holds the power of government in Canada and not the political party who wins the government.

Our Public Service are mostly all Liberals…

    1. It’s true. There is a lot of evidence for the public service being Liberal — sometimes blatantly (like that creep with his “Harperman” song and that idiot kissing Trudeau. ) I believe the public service deliberately tried to sabotage Harper when he was in power. Some of the things people got mad at Harper for were in fact decisions made by bureaucrats. Someone should write a book.

      1. I’m frequently reminded of the scene from one of the early episodes of the series Yes, Minister in which Sir Humphrey Applebee explains that it isn’t the government which runs the country, it’s the civil service.

The story is told that the series was so accurate about what happened in Whitehall that Maggie Thatcher watched it just to figure out what went on.

  20. Turkish ‘terror’ suspect is ARRESTED after ‘shooting a relative (woman) on Dutch tram “for family reasons” and then firing at anyone who tried to intervene’ killing three

Turkish-born Gökmen Tanis, 37, was allegedly targeting one of his own relatives in this morning’s shooting, which left five other people injured, and saw the terrorism threat level in Utrecht raised to the highest possible.

The suspect – who ‘was known’ to authorities – was detained during a raid on the Oudernoord district of Utrecht, and the threat level in the province has been downgraded by one notch as a result of the arrest, Dutch police confirmed.

  21. Ottawa political operative threatens conservative publisher with ‘fake news’ in The Globe and Mail says:

Justin Ling, an Ottawa-based political reporter whose work appears on some of Canada’s largest national platforms, threatened the publisher of The Chronicle in a revealing email exchange Sunday evening. He threatened to use his access to The Globe and Mail to intentionally report ‘fake news’. We are unable to discern whether the communication was an attempt at political intimidation or extortion.

Ling is a supporter of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and has reported widely on transgender issues. A picture of Trudeau adorns his Twitter profile. Scrolling his social media pages will quickly reveal unabashedly left-leaning political biases.

In the federal government’s budget — expected to be tabled on Tuesday — Trudeau is planning to include a nearly $600 million bailout of Canada’s major media giants, including many left-leaning publications that employ Ling as a freelance writer. Among them, Ling’s work appears in The Globe and Mail, The National Post, Macleans, and The Ottawa Citizen.

Then on Sunday evening, Ling initiated this email exchange, in which he threatens to intentionally misreport his communication with Ricchiazzi, and plans to do so in The Globe and Mail:

  22. CNN fails basic math. But proper math would ruin a CNN story.

    https://wattsupwiththat.com/2019/03/18/cnn-fails-basic-meteor-math-makes-more-fake-news/

Meteor explodes in the atmosphere with 10 times the energy of the Hiroshima bomb, screams the CNN headline.

Meteor explodes releasing 4.2 kilo tons energy reads the report.

Now the Hiroshima bomb had a yield of 15 kilo tons, meaning the meteor released much less energy than the Hiroshima bomb.

CNN: all the news that’s fit to make up.

  23. think this is bad?
wait till the chirese steal *part* of the 737 technology and start churning out sorta clones.
there will be LOTS of money to be made amongst those charged with overseeing purchases, inspections,
accident inspections, providing the whitewash paint (also mare in chirer).

    etc etc.
