The Deplorables

Global momentum.

Richard Fernandez (Facebook);

There’s something going on in this world, and it’s not all down to a few advertisements in Facebook for Trump or a fluke vote for Brexit. Explaining it as an aberration only disarms those who may have legitimate objections.

The assumptions of the globalist project were flawed. China did not democratize, nor did Russia. MENA went off on its own craziness. The open borders doctrine created a huge open sore not all the PC bandaid in the world can plaster.

At the same time the “liberal” institutions themselves became objectively fascist, using technological mass surveillance to nudge their populations in significantly unpopular ways while detaching themselves from their constituents in favor of the fictional “global world”.

This created a perfect storm, made all the worse by the perverse determination of the media not to see it. Into this blind spot rode Donald Trump, Brexit and half a dozen populist movements the world over.

Then not content w blindfolding themselves they are gouging their eyes out completely, going off on their midget high horses in moral dudgeon, which might help if it could work, but only succeeds in making them look ridiculous. Stop for God’s sake. Stop.

We don’t need any more intersectional, gender neutral, critical theory claptrap. We need the common sense to realize that a huge network of corruption has cropped up in every Western capital and it will be decades before we even count the rocks that need to be looked under.

    1. To them, the word “democracy” means mob rule. Literally. It doesn’t even mean tyranny of the majority, it just means rule by a mob, as amply demonstrated in the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings.

      1. Yes, and the word, ‘mob,’ must not be uttered, at least on CNN. It’s too evocative of chaos, which their pundits prefer to hang on Trump.

      2. To them, the word “democracy” means mob rule.

Of course. It’s vox populi, isn’t it?

  1. “[Bolsonaro] could put democracy at risk”
Odd. The Economist says it like it’s a bad thing

  2. “could put democracy at risk”… WTF does that mean? From what I’ve been able to find out the people of Brazil are sick and tired of being dictated to by corrupt governments of the left… Leftist Governments that couldn’t care less about the country or its people, kinda like Justard and the Liberal/Globalists… Trudopia isn’t the only corrupt post national state but it might be the only one where the citizens accept the corrupt rule of leftist twits like BUtts, Telford and Soros, the rest of world is seemingly going in the opposite direction. Good for Brazil in rejecting globalist dictators. I wonder what level of violence and economic vandalism the globalists will attempt to inflict upon people once the whole western world, except for Trudopia, rejects the dictates of the globalist goose steppers.

  3. Read today that during the Obama years, U.S. taxpayers were helping to fund George Soros and his goon squads, unbeknownst to said taxpayers.

  4. Hillary Clinton extorts American voters by promising them civility will only return if the leftistas are put back in power. The only platform they have though is the same one they have had for over a decade.
If you have the facts pound the facts. If you have the law pound the law. If you have nothing pound the table. And that is what we have seen from the so called Democrats.

    1. In HER interview with Christianne Amnanpour recently, SHE tried to look cordial but the hate for HER enemies was all too obvious in HER eyes when SHE spoke of them.

“Hell is murky” …SHE is mad.

    2. Sadly this is true. There is never civility when the left is out of power, as they use vicious tactics and bullying to get back into power. The right, however, for the most part respects the law and our institutions, so there are far fewer angry, violent attempts to disrupt legitimate governance. Hopefully most Americans understand at this point that Dems and their leftist supporters are the real problem.

  5. Read yesterday that Bolsonaro is telling Brazilians that if someone shoots at you with a gun to get a gun and shoot back. The article went on to explain how bad that idea is, given the fact that most poor neighborhoods are full of violent gangs with guns. I thought to myself “who let the country get that way in the first place?”. The people who are criticizing Bolsonaro of course.

    Go Bolsonaro!

  6. “…made all the worse by the perverse determination of the media not to see it.”

Hard to top that one on the truth scale. Perverse determination indeed.

  7. “If he is elected, he could put democracy at risk” Sod the Economist. Democracy is NOT necessarily what globalists want.

    1. Democracy defeated the Globalist GOPe… and then HER Globalist cabal. So now, these leftists are rushing to render the word (Democracy) unintelligible. No matter … we little (populist) people will keep VOTING.

  8. I think what is going on is that the planets sleeping majority is finally, after 60 years beginning to wake up to the fact that thoe political parties that often take the word “Democrat or Democratic” etc. in their Name are often the EXACT opposte from what that word means….Well better late than never.

Good for Brazil for trying to throw the mantle of Socialism and its acompnaying DEBT out the door. Good for Italy, and others being smothered by Millions of migrants who will contribute SFA to their destination countries.

GOOD on Japan, Czech Rep, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia for seeing the Danger and saying FK you we will..!! Smartest of them all.

Canada.. Jesus, where to begin..? I fear this will be the only beachead in the Western Hemisphere that will remain Socialist or become Trans National … just too many STUPID Individuals out there breathing / living every grindr neutral / intersectional / diversity / Climate change word from the CBC – CTV – Globe/Mail – Star Cabal and of course from the lead DIPSHITs thmselves.

    1. “Nach dem Aufstand des 17. Juni

      – Bertolt Brecht, Die Lösung (The Solution)

      Translation:
“Following the 17 June [1953] uprising
The secretary of the Writers’ Union
      Had leaflets distributed in Stalinallee
Stating that the people had forfeited
      The confidence of the government
And that they could only regain it
By redoubling their labour. Would it not be
      Simpler if the government
      just dissolved the people
      And elected another?”

  9. ahem . . . ‘deMOBcracy’
also from the link and post:
” Into this blind spot rode Donald Trump”
yer goddamn right (pun intended) he did. it occurs to me, Trump’s hat in the ring could very well be a result of his innate business skills; why not? a HUGE investment in $ and time, with lots of risk (in his case ridicule and now incessant screeching).
for the purpose of a payoff (and NOT the ‘traditional’ payoff a la mulruin and the plain brown envelope or likewise spiro agnew within line of sight of President Trump’s office).

I suppose we’re going to have to wait for the book and I genuinely hope that aint until 2023.

  10. and on top of all this, the RCC appears to be eating it’s self alive. Interesting times we are in:-)))

  11. If you study the Bolshevik/communist definition of democracy you will discover that the left’s definition of democracy means a dictatorship of the proletariat in which you are only allowed to vote for candidates approved of by the left. Mark Steyn referred to this in his video about the post-democracy trend in western countries.

In Canada, we were told more than a decade ago, during the Chretien regime that we were bad Canadians if did not vote Liberal.

In the US now, you are bad if you vote Republican.

    1. and trudeau the junior told us good prime ministers only come from Quebec. Guess I’m just a bad guy cause I’ll never vote for him or his children. Bad enough to have 2 generations of this lunacy, a 3rd would be truly unreasonable.
